deeptesting: Pretty sure the people in power seem not to understand the feelings of the people....The people are fed up, no road, no light, no water, no job, no food, no medical facility, young and eligible men cannot marry and grow their family, the frustration is running people crazy...the youths as a result of the artificial poverty created by the rulers have thrown all moral values to the dogs and are doing the unmentionable within and outside the country just to keep body and soul together, yet the rulers because we dont have leaders keep waging uneccesary war among themselves to hold on to power rather than resiging to be elder statesmen, they have become so entrapped in the pursuit of their selfish interest that they are all suffering from terminal hallucination, thinking that they are the smartest people, who can perpetually keep the youths in the background, while using those that are gullible as political thugs to achieve their selfish interest and disenfranchise the educated with lack of jobs. We take consolation in the fact that the only constant in life is CHANGE...Nigeria will not be the least.

picaro: Who cares if he's eligible or not. The fact of the matter is, Gej should never be permitted to govern anything or any place ever again. His administrative skills, his choice of selection of his team, leaves so much more to be desired. Corruption index under his watch has reached an alarming height. What more can a nation dread, that has not been dumped on us under his administration? And worse still is the lack of honesty in admitting their failure, but quick to blame 'opponents and detractors' etc. From failing economy to terrorism to decay in infrastructure, to increased poverty and unemployment index, to...just name it. Something is terribly wrong with this country, and the leadership is that one root cause.

Sincerely, Nigeria cannot survive another 4 years under this man. So, that he is eligible in 2015 or not, is not the question. The question is, have Nigerians grown wiser in choosing a leader or not? Have we decided to let go of sentiments of tribe, religion or language, and consider to vote on merit for once? time will tell. As we all know, a Nation deserves its Government.

First off the protocol for receiving Presidents in all countries is that he must be welcomed by a top ranking Minister ,a Prime Minister or a President.

The visiting President must also be welcomed by cultural dancers or performers and he must inspect the guard of honor.

That is the standing protocol for receiving presidents all over the world.

Now let us look at what has transpired in China.From the little we know GEJ was received by an ASSISTANT MINISTER of CHINA.That is very wrong,he should have been received by the minister of Foreign Affairs.

Due to that break in protocol there was no Guard of honor available because as an assistant can not oversee and present a guard of Honor.

GEK was left to his own devises for 24hours as if was a mere tourist visiting china.

Today the President of China now deemed it fit to welcome him with a guard of honor lined up INSIDE A HALL !

elampiro: A South African minister received the president of America, and a Chinese assistant minister received president of Nigeria. I see no difference.

If people think it is degrading, I think the Obama case is even more degrading because America is far bigger than South Africa while Nigerian economy is far less than the Chinese.
