Pedagogue: Is anyone surprised?
They said the construction will take 4 years...so,let's be calm!
Year 1( 2013-2014)- Road reconstruction ceremony plus ecological, geological, geographical, physical and spiritual survey
Year 2 (2014-2015) - Political 'construction' ....Heavy presence of more than 700 construction equipments on d road -And of course, GEJ would be declaring to all and sundry that the Lagos - Ibadan expressway is being constructed
Year 3 (2015-2016) - Serious contractual dispute-that will lead to the withdrawal of those over 700 equipments...In fact, newspapers will be awash with news that 'Julius Berger and RCC are threatening to take FG to court because of d failure of govt to provide funds'
Year 4 (2016-2017) - Contract with Julius Berger and RCC cancelled...re awarded to XYZ company for 799 billion naira!!!! This guy hits all the right notes in this interview and the only thing he needs is STRONG ALLIANCES, people who the retardeen can not even look in the eye, INCLUDING THE MASS OF THE PEOPLE of NIGERIA! In addition, he should look WEST as the guys on that side are on a different level when it comes to masterful politics and strategy, and he should anchor himself strongly! The PDP and the retardeen are all desperadoes and they could make an attempt on his life when push comes to shove! Other than that, he has released the jury on the retardeen and his hippopotamus of a wife who wants to control an elected government! If she really wants control, let her go contest for elections! Not every man is weak like her husband she can boss around! Ameachi should also be VERY resolved, he shouldn't try and play both sides otherwise they could poison him or get rid of him easily. Like Tinubu, he must evolve a very vigorous mien towards his resolve as so far the retardeen has come up empty. The more he holds on, the more the retardeen's position and reputation becomes greatly diminished until his disgrace in governance either comes or at the PDP primaries or at the election whichever one! However, by holding on, he can spring the right element of victory as the retardeenic PDP government and leadership implodes right before his eyes...then he can laugh his A** OFF like I will! You are just product of wrong marriage. No good up bringing |

ujchief: I don't know if this SAN of a lawyer was just hired because of this case; if he has always been chdid's lawyer, he did a lousy job. As a SAN, he should have filed for a restraint from the police which would have prevented the police from inviting his client in the first place. A SAN will definitely have a pal among the magistrates of the high court at ph that will easily give a restraining order according to the Legislative House Act. But he waited until his client was kept in custody before reacting.
Chidi did nothing wrong; he tried to protect the constitution according to the oath he took. His actions are protected by immunity and he CANNOT be protected.
Moreover, isn't there a police station at Rivers state? Why did he allow his client travel down to Abuja? Those at Abuja have no jurisdiction over this case at all!
What sort of SAN is this? Initially I thought you were making sense, but didn't know you will end up so poorly and embarrassing. How can you be talking of area of jurisdiction when you are been summon by police higher authority, this must be a huge joke, the SAN is better inform than you. so don't just blame him |

jjcbuthot: What's this one saying? Houses that are not more than 100 units and each 3-bed room flat will be sold for 8m naira each.
Now, tell me how many of the police officer can afford this? How much will he pay monthly and for how many years?
Is GEJ expecting them to still be sending monthly loan repayment from heaven even after they are dead? I am saying this because there is no way a policeman that earns 50k per month will fish repaying that money in his life time.
Lets do some calculation...
The loan rule says you can't use more than 30-33% of your salary for loan repayment - let even assume the officer doesn't have any other loan running.
30% of 50k = 15k.
number of months to pay = 8000000/15000 = 534 months
= 44 years
Many of them are already between 40 and 50 years of age. Typical sadist. Nothing will ever satisfy your type |
Politics › Re: Jonathan Commissions Modern Police Estate In Lagos by visalo: 10:34am On Jul 20, 2013 |
Sincere 9gerian: Gbawe the LIAR is here again. The project has nothing to do with GEJ, yet he's commissioning the project? Yet the estate is called GOODLUCK JONATHAN Housing Estate? How does that make sense to you?
The project was executed thru Public-Private-Participation. The first P (Public) is represented by the Police, under the control of the president (GEJ). Depending on the arrangement for the PPP, the first and second P, CONTRIBUTED something to the project. The Police may have contributed land or whatever while the Private company may contributed funds, etc. The ministry of housing and urban development also contributed something. All parties contributed something to gain something and to make the project a reality.
Yes, the project was conceptualised in 2008 but work commenced in 2011 when GEJ was president and the project was completed in 2013 when GEJ is still president. Kudos to the police and GEJ for seeing the project through.
The problem in Nigeria public sector is not ideas, plans or initiative. If you'r made a minister or commissioner today, you'll automatically inherit tonnes of plans, proposals and ideas. The PROBLEM in the Nigeria public sector has always been IMPLEMENTATION, DELIVERY and GETTING THE JOB DONE.
GEJ has DONE IT AGAIN. The JOB IS DONE. GEJ will do it again and again. Haters can go and die. Why bothering your self in replying that Gbawe guy. He is just doing the silly job of his pay master, tinubuthief |
Politics › Re: Buhari Disowns Yinka Odumakin - His Spokesman by visalo: 8:15am On Jul 20, 2013 |
Sincere 9gerian: @Gbawe.,tried to play smart on this thread by reducing all of Odumakins statements to simplistic comparison of the cost of constructing per km of road. We all know that several factors determine the cost of road construction and these factors vary from one geographical location to another. Even in the same state, the cost may vary from place to place. Factors such as soil structure, number of lanes, design of the road, number of bridges, drainages type and size, pedestran walk ways, etc all eventually add up to the final cost of the road. Most of these factors, vary from place to place, even in the same state.
The East-west road for instance is about over 338km dual carriage road, with about 37 bridges and is being constructed at the cost of about N360 billion (variation has taken due to delayed completion since 2006 when the project was initiated at the cost N200billion). http://www.thisdaylive.com/articles/east-west-road-to-cost-n360bn/116824/
It will be deceitful and pure mischief to now compare the East-west road (with 37 bridges and topography in the swamps of the Niger Delta) per km cost of construction with inner city roads in places like Enugu or Abeokuta.
However @Gbawe and co try to spin this one, it cannot fly. The message of Odumakin, which cannot be lost, is that massive corruption is taking place in ACN controlled states.
Even more damaging is the fact that Tinubu's contracting firm is the one getting most of the road contracts in the Southwest. Has anyone imagined GEJ setting up his own contracting firm and ensuring the company gets major jobs in the country? Clearly, in such setting TRANSPARENCY and ACCOUNTABILITY will be thrown out from the window.
What about Tinubu's IMMORAL imposition of his close relatives in prime political positions in the southwest?
Tinubu is a hard-sell any day, anytime. No amount of spins by Gbawe and co can remove the THIEF appendage on Thief-Tinubu
Note: this does not exonerate PDP controlled states of corruption. But the DIFFERENCE is that in ACN controlled states, the corruption is at TWO levels, ie the resources of the ACN controlled states must cater for the corrupt tendencies of state chief executives (governors) AND the godfather (Tinubu). But in PDP controlled states, we have to contend with only the corrupt tendencies of state chief executives (governors) Don't blame that Gbawe guy, he is only doing the job is paid for by his master tinubuthief. Your analysis on east west road is a good example for him to succumb, but he will still look for away to counter your fact analysis. You even talk of only 37 bridge on the east west road, let him also understand that on the same road, there are over 700 convent and three major bridge that is over 300m long each. The sand filling of 1km on the said road is equal to 10km in the sw if not more. Gbawe it is high time you stop defending this your corrupt leaders |

Gbawe: Who will help you two ignorant illiterates disgrace Nigeria via putting this on the front page? Is it not bad enough South Africans, Cameroonians, Ghanaians, Zimbabweans, Kenyans et al mock your "Giant of Africa " tag daily? Now you want them to add "illiterates of Africa" to the name calling?
You think anyone can tell them a leader bought a Plane for $30 million when Planes "sell for no more than $10,000" and they will blindly accept such unbelievable deception and crude goading to pick up e-sticks and e-machete as you mindless ALUU lowlife-type are doing? No. They will have the adult sense and pragmatism to at least find out, as a beginning, what the stated model of airplane cost in reality before speaking onclusively!!! They will then defer, from then on, to facts revealed so they are not used as pawns in the games leaders play. Political sophistication 101. Yet, not so for you ALUU savages.
Hard to tell if you guys are just 'thick', extremely clannish, cursed or a 'combination'. If you are so desperate to make a case for Odumakin's witch hunt, then support such with facts. Simple. Begin with showing that N50 million per KM is a reasonable road construction cap rate that empirically applies to all roads as Odumakin nonsensically claims. Prove that roads constructed in the SW are delivered, as an anomaly, at a cost not consonant with what is average in Nigeria.
Odumakin fraudulently sought to make average rate of per kilometre road construction rate as N50 million to suit his ignorant witch hunt which only exposes him as unenlightened. I have shown otherwise and now you fools should prove your case with facts. Bring a bill of quantities or similar here to support the idiocy of Odumakin or shut up and get lost. This your dirty work will not help you. stop the ranting and insults. you are only emphasizing on how much it take to construct a km of road.what of the other allegation that your paymaster tinubu is the only one doing the whole contract?
