okeyglm: oga, Google cost of building Abuja world trade center
Dude I am aware. All se en towers are expected to cost $1bn of which two has been built already out of that seven. It remains 5 more. The already built towers don't cost $1bn. Say Wetin happen. Shey na Burj Khalifa we dey build.
sageprime: Op, I recently heard of a scheme Eko eye condo. It is to be built in marina Lagos and it is to have 52 floors when completed.
I don't know if it is already approved but there is very little information about on the web.
It's been approved but construction has not commenced. It has been shifted next year cos of f covid19. Plus there is also a plan to resuscitate marina. I hope it's followed judiciously.
Aconomist: Eko Atlantic truly is a masterpiece. Take a look at the progress so far. It's actually progressed further than what is shown in the video. Azuri is complete (except for cladding) work has started on A & A and La Definition. And they now conduct boat tours in the canal. God bless Chagoury Group for bringing this to lagos.
Also check Eko village towers that comprises of 8 clustered towers. I heard construction is to start next year. Same thing with corporate tower 1. I read article that said most of this project is being delayed by covid-19. Cost of shipping down material, inflation and all that.
Aconomist: Yea, I've been eagerly awaiting when Dangote builds his headquarters (he has the cash to build something truly spectacular). Total ENP is also planning a building called "La Definition" in Eko Atlantic to house its employees. Facebook is planning its HQ in Ikoyi I think, but it hasn't been announced yet. Folorunsho's Famfa oil is also building in Ikoyi.
Some of the indigenous oil companies such as Amni Oil have decided to go to Eko Atlantic instead of Marina. Here is the prototype of their tower. It is right next to Alpha 1. Construction expected to start in 2021.
What month in 2021. I think that building is over 40 flrs

Appisko: Ghana among top 3 African markets in infrastructure investments – Report
A total of US$7.9 billion of investments involving private participation in infrastructure since the year 2000 put Ghana among the top three Sub-Saharan African markets, after South Africa and Nigeria.
According to Fitch Solutions latest appraisal of the Ghanaian economy, considerable Private Public Partnership track record and pipeline underscore private infrastructure investment opportunities in the country since the year 2000.
“Our positive outlook for private participation in Ghana’s infrastructure sector is underpinned by the country’s considerable PPP track record and project pipeline, with energy and transport being key sectors for private investment opportunities”, it pointed out.
Furthermore, it said “according to our proprietary Fitch Solutions Infrastructure Key Projects Database, public-private partnerships account for almost 20 percent of planned infrastructure projects in Ghana, highlighting that PPPs will continue to play a significant role in Ghana’s infrastructure sector.”
