She's been in london after stealing public money.

All the children of Nigerian criminal politicians both past and present will always turn useless no matter where they studied and level of their education. They cannot steal our stolen wealth, train all their children abroad, while most Nigerian children suffer. So many have died because of their wickedness. A lot have joined criminal cliques due to lack of employments, plus not security.
An Oba is not a politician.

I will speak from the POV of a layman. I don vex!! angry

So where does the bulk of the oil revenues go to? Let's not forget oil isn't the only revenue earner in the country, the Lagos Seaport being a huge earner, generating billions of naira daily. We want to source for funding, meanwhile all the money we make is unaccounted for, and not only that we are heavily in debt. The figures don't add up, oga Voltron. If I have to levied and taxed then i will like to see the dividends of the tax I'm paying.
This bulk of oil revenue you are referring to is grossly inadequate.

If oil is our number 1 earner, you can bet your top dollar, all others are labouring behind.

Let us even for a second assume we are making exactly the same from Customs duties and another from Agriculture , we would still be on 3 dollars a day for each Nigerian.

The truth is, many Nigerians don't take time to do the maths.

I know times are hard but that shouldn't stop us from solid analysis.

Nigerians need to accept that they live in a poor nation with little productivity.

Productivity is what gives nations strength.

For government to meet its obligations one of it's ready means of doing so is through taxation.

Nigerians must produce.

It appears Nigerians do not understand the problems before them.

Multiple taxation, increase in taxes and ridiculous levies on basic and essential commodities is the way to go. It's already in full swing sef
Explain the multiple taxation.

By the way explain how government can increase revenue without an increase in taxation.

Before you do let us break down our foreign earner - oil.

Nigeria produces 2.5 million barrels of oil daily (actually 2.1 million but I'll stick with our capacity), at 60 dollars per barrel it means we make 150 million dollars a day.

Divide that by 150 million Nigerians (conservatively) that gives 1 dollar a day per Nigerian.

In light of this, please profer a solution.

It will never be well with anyone that contributed to enthroning these thieves called Government at the center.
It is because of Buhari Oba Oyekan's supposed son killed a female restauranter in 2012 abi?

Or it was Buhati that pushed OUK or Madueke or Fayose to loot.

It would not be well with anybody that wanted a continuation of the Jonathan's government.

If you consider the cost of organizing election every 4 years, you will understand that there's sense in the bill.

Jonathan made that argument in 2012, but people thought he was being selfish.

I think one tenure of 6 years is better because Nigeria spends so much on election, Nigerians die senselessly during elections, politicians won't be stealing so much to save for their reelection, and election divides this country.
Politicians would do what they do whether the term is for 1 year or 10.

It is a Nigeeian malaise and the politicians are no different from those they rule.

Magu's children living the good life, how is that possible? Look, stop deceiving yourself and trampling on the intelligence of Nigerians. Nobody would feel bad seeing Dangote's children living the good life. But how did Buhari train all his children in UK schools? From which salary or pension? From which business? How would Magu afford same? From which legit income?

These are some of the things ordinary sensible Nigerians would see and absolutely reject. Your children are thriving on proceeds of corruption, but you want other people's children to be "legitimately miserable"?
Stop being bitter.

Buhari has a former president is guaranteed by our constitution for the education of his offsprings.

Let us not even talk about his various portfolios including that of a Major General in our armed forces.

Everywhere in the world a Major General can be guaranteed of a good quality of life.

I guess for you, because it is Buhari, it shouldn't be so.

Talk about hypocrisy.

Don't quote me if you have to be daft. Having been arrested and prosecuted by the EFCC, can you point out the fraud charges brought against him before the courts? So you know something that the EFCC doesn't know?

Some of you are beyond idiotic. You lie in your rodent infested bedroom, filled with hate, envy, and fury over your miserable existence, and think the worst of others - even without proof. If you think Mompha is a fraudster, the least you could do is give us an example of someone he defrauded. If you can't do that, you need to shut up and silently sulk in your misery.

I'll be damned if I read whatever rubbish response you come up with when you invade my mentions again.
Shut up.

Mompha is out on bail because the law permits even those pending trial some rights to freedom.

Mompha is awaiting trial as a conduit for the passage of illicit funds.

Worthy to note, his arrest was at the behest of the Interpol.

Perhaps you know much more about law enforcement than those whose duty it is to enforce the Law.

The culture wherein hardwork is relegated to the doldrums.

People do not see value in hardwork or modesty.

You praise Yahoo boys but little do you know, you cannot distinguish them from kidnappers or armed robbers.

Some of you would condemn this message not knowing you or your loved one would be condemned by your philosophy.

Until this craze for material things above peace and happiness is done away with, more and more victims would be found amongst us.
