I am APC, but this is nepotism of the highest order!! Two blood sisters, who are nieces of the ex-Benue first lady (wife of the Benue APC strong man George Akume) have been appointed to head two different parastatals in Benue. Whereas Espy Adzape is heading Radio Benue Makurdi as General Manager, Mimi Adzape-Orubibi has just been appointed to head the state internal revenue agency. Even more curious is the fact that Mimi who is to head the Benue internal Revenue service has only four (4) years working experience in tax matters!!! Meanwhile, the caretaker chairman of Tarka local government is also the sister inlaw of George Akume. Benue is now officially Akume's chiefdom APC should look inwards and avoid the tragedy that befell PDP, the party is fast heading to a scary direction. http://benue.com.ng/benue-assembly-confirms-mrs-mimi-adzape-orubibi-as-revenue-boss/ http://www.fabmimi.com/2015/09/two-blood-sisters-appointed-as-head-of.html lalasticlala, ishilove |
TonyeBarcanista:. . . . . .minion, the Minister acts on behalf of the President . . . . . . . . . .the Attorney General/Minister of Justice are dual roles . . . . . . . . . .Nigeria as I know does not operate a collegial decision-making body . . . . . . . . .In a presidential system, "the Cabinet does not function as a collective legislative influence; rather, their primary role is as an official advisory council to the head of government. In this way, the President gets opinions and advice in upcoming decisions" . . . . . . . .anyone can act on behalf of the president, so long as it's within the authority given by the president. |
