sooperrescue:The recommended mopar ATF+4 as written on the dipstick. The car was scanned, no error codes. Infact its been well and shifting better than the old. |
sooperrescue, I have a 2004 liberty jeep, had a transmission fluid change using those red containers and before you know it, the transmission overheating light started coming on and the transmission fluid started overheating. After months, I changed the transmission fluid to the proper ATF+4 but the overheating still continued until the transmission failed. Finally, I bought a new transmission and had it fixed with the proper fluid used (mopar ATF+4). the problem is; for the past two weeks, the transmission fluid overheating light keeps coming on and I can perceive the burnt fluid when the light comes on. What is causing this? I plan on having the fluid changed, is it a cooling problem or a cooling line issue? the vehicle engine doesn't overheat at all. |
Sen. Oluremi Tinubu on Tuesday said that she did not get the support of her husband, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu to run for second term in the past National Assembly elections. Tinubu, Lagos Central Senatorial District, made the disclosure while answering questions at the ongoing “Women in Government’’ conference organised by the South-West Region of the Department For International Development (DFID). The conference was organised in collaboration with the Lagos State Office of the Deputy Governor. She said that it was her district leaders who got the form for her and talked her husband into allowing her to run for the position. According to her, Asiwaju likes his wife to be at home, and what is more confusing to me is that most Muslim men do not want their wives to work, but I am a hard worker. “People have been saying that I got to this position because I am Asiwaju’s wife. `What they did not realise is that in the past election, my husband asked me not to go for a second term. “It was the leaders in my district that got me the form and talked to him that they wanted me to go back. “You can go to my district, the elites might not know me but the grassroots are the ones supporting and voting massively for me. “I think that is enough for me and that is how you can get elected, you have to really identify with your people; if really know your people, they will stand up for you,’’ she said. Tinubu said she fought and worked hard as it was difficult getting the vote of the masses. “When I got the bill to run for primaries, I told my husband that I needed money and he said no money. “I fought with the people in my constituency because they said I have to give them more money and I said no, what about the ones I have been giving to you before? “If you are not going to vote, so be it. “They said that they were just voting for me because of Asiwaju and I responded that Asiwaju is not even supporting me, then, you can go and vote for him. “But I’m grateful they voted for me. “I have realised that when you are elected, you have to go back and work with your constituency because that is where your support and vote rests,’’ she said. http://www.ngrguardiannews.com/2015/09/my-husband-did-not-support-my-re-election-senator-tinubu/ lalasticlala, ishilove |
Incumbent Chairman of the 8th National Assembly and Senate President, Dr. Bukola Saraki, has urged members of the Red chamber to ensure that the long-awaited ministerial list of President Muhammadu Buhari is treated with urgency, when it is eventually submitted by President Buhari this week. ministerial list Saraki, whose led Senate resumed on Tuesday, after its 4th recess in 110 days of its existence, in his Resumption Address, expressed optimism that the presence of ministers will create the space for greater policy engagement between the legislative and executive arms of government, adding that it will also enable the Senate to begin to respond in a more systematic manner to the various economic and social challenges confronting the nation. The full text of the address tweeted by the Senate President via his Twitter handle, @bukolasaraki read in part: “As we await the list of ministerial nominees this week, I believe the presence of ministers will create the space for greater policy engagement with the Executive Arm of government and enable us to begin to respond in a more systematic manner to the various economic and social challenges before us, especially through our various Committees that will also be constituted soon. “On this note, I want to urge you all my colleagues to ensure that what is uppermost in our minds as we begin the constitutional task of screening of ministerial nominees is the overall interest of our country, informed by the enormity and the urgency of the challenges before us. “Once the list is submitted, let us ensure that we treat it with dispatch. We must not be held down by unnecessary politicking. The enormity of our national challenges at this time does not give room for pettiness or politics of vendetta.” http://www.vanguardngr.com/2015/09/lets-treat-buharis-ministerial-list-with-urgency-saraki-tells-senators/ lalasticlala, ishilove |

Most of his victims were his fellow Chinese, murdered as ‘landlords’ after the communist takeover, starved in his misnamed ‘Great Leap Forward’ of 1958-61, or killed and tortured in labour camps in the Cultural Revolution of the Sixties. Mao’s rule, with its economic mismanagement and continual political upheavals, also spelled poverty for most of China’s untold millions. The country embraced capitalism long after his death. 2 JOSEPH STALIN Soviet Union (1929-53) Regime Communist Victims 40 million Lenin’s paranoid successor was the runner-up to Mao in the mass-murder stakes. Stalin imposed a deliberate famine on Ukraine, killed millions of the wealthier peasants – or ‘kulaks’ – as he forced them off their land, and purged his own party, shooting thousands and sending millions more to work as slaves and perish in the Gulag. 3 ADOLF HITLER Germany (1933-45) Regime Nazi dictatorship Victims 30 million The horror of Adolf Hitler’s dictatorship lies in the uniqueness of his most notorious crime, the Holocaust, which stands alone in the annals of inhuman cruelty. The Coalition of Northern Youths Association CNYA has resolved to mobilise its members and senators to rally round Senator Barnabas Gemade to become the next Senate President in view of the corruption charges involving the Senate President, Senator Bukola Saraki. In a statement issued at the end of its emergency meeting during the weekend, the group in a statement signed by its National Coordinator Alhaji Abubakar Mohammed stated that the current crisis bedevilling the Senate President with his eventual arraignment at the Code of Conduct Tribunal last week has raised a moral issue that challenges Senator Saraki moral competence to continue presiding over the affairs of the Senate of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. ‘To us in CNYA we strongly believe that Senator Saraki has no moral right to preside over the affairs of the Senate based on the allegations levelled against him by the Code of Conduct Bureau, and he cannot be facing trial and at the same time presiding over the affairs of the Senate. “ As such the best option left for him now, if he has conscience is to resign honourably and pave way for a new leadership in the senate’, the group stated. The group further pointed out that the whole world is watching Nigeria over the Sarakigate and urged the Senate President to do the needful by resigning without delay. The Pan Northern group added that in order not to create a leadership vacuum in the Senate and allow the opposition party, the PDP to capitalise on this, the previous contenders for the seat of Senate President such as Senators Ahmed Lawan and George Akume should consider jettisoning their ambition and support Senator Barnabas Gemade to become the next Senate President. ‘This is the only way out of the quagmire, considering the fact that Senator Gemade has all it takes to superintend over the Senate’. ‘The group believes that Senator Gemade is going to entrench peace, unity and legislative decorum in the senate. We make bold to state that as a former minister, former Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party PDP and a two term Senator now in his third term, ‘He has the capacity to steer the ship of the senate and forge unity among the senators from both the All Progressive Congress APC and the Peoples Democratic Party PDP. They called on the National Executives of the All Progressive Congress APC to see reason with the coalition’s position and commence serious consultations among party stakeholders to ensure that the exit of Senator Bukola Saraki as Senate President will not spell doom for the party. ‘We call on all APC Senators to throw away sentimental loyalty to any person and go for the best candidate which to us at this particular point in time is Senator Barnabas Gemade’. http://www.worldstagegroup.com/worldstagenew/index.php?active=news&newscid=24843&catid=2 |

President Muhammadu Buhari has ordered the Inspector-General of Police and other security agencies to take all necessary actions to ensure safe and speedy rescue of Chief Olu Falae who was abducted from his farm on Monday. The Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, Mr Femi Adesina, in a statement today, said the president’s directive was sequel to a briefing on the incident. Adesina said President Buhari condemned “the callous and reprehensible” kidnapping of the former Secretary to the Government of the Federation and elder statesman. He quoted the president as assuring Falae’s family, friends and other concerned Nigerians that the Federal Government would do all within its powers to ensure his swift release. The presidential spokesman said Buhari had requested constant updates from the police and security agencies on efforts to find and rescue Chief Falae. According to Adesina, President Buhari also denounces the recurring incidents of criminal abductions across the country. He said President Buhari assured all Nigerians that ongoing efforts to significantly enhance the security of lives and property in the country would continue apace. The presidential aide said Buhari also assured that under his leadership, Nigerians, irrespective of their status, would no longer be left at the mercy of criminal elements. http://www.vanguardngr.com/2015/09/buhari-orders-ig-on-immediate-rescue-of-falae/ lalasticlala, ishilove |

The Orange Is the New Black star had a strong year last year, bringing home a number of awards for her role as "Crazy Eyes" on the hit Netflix series, and it looks like this year may be her year, too. Aduba won Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama (this is the first year the show switched to drama from comedy), her second consecutive Emmy win, and she didn't even try to hold back the tears. So, yeah, we were getting a little teary-eyed, too. https://www.eonline.com/eol_images/Entire_Site/2015820/rs_634x1024-150920194118-634.Uzo-Aduba-Emmys-Show.ms.092015.jpg "I really just want to say thank you a thousand times. If I could say thank you a thousand times, it would not be enough to cover the amount of thanks I feel for you, Jenji Kohan. I love you so much," Aduba began. "I thank you for putting belief back in my heart. Thanks for making the show, creating the platform. Thank you to our family at Netflix and Lionsgate. You are incredible. I love you so much for your kindness." After a list of more thank-yous, the actress concluded with, "I love you guys and I'm so thankful to stand beside a set of artists who are so brilliant. I want to say thank you to our team, my team that I work with...you guys are incredible and I love you mostly because you let me be me. "And finally, I really just want to say thank you to my family who have stood beside me my entire life. My sister, Chi Chi, you are my very best friend. I am humbled to call myself your sister. efilefun:The Nigerian problem always kicks in, government officials will prefer asphalt roads due to the fact that maintenance is an ungoing thing with asphalt roads, and maintenance is what keeps their pockets fat! Lets go concrete, and quit bitumen imports. |
olawalepopoola:Read the poster above you, countries like US and india use mainly concrete roads. For those asking why we import bitumen, the bitumen grade found in Nigeria is of very low quality. |
Chairman of Dangote Cement, Aliko Dangote over the weekend reiterated his plea to the Federal Government to urgently consider the use of concrete roads in the country. In a chat with newsmen over the weekend, the African richest man said, it would be to the benefit of Nigerians and even the Federal Government to embrace the option of using concrete for roads in the country. Aside from being very cheap, he said concrete roads were more durable and that its maintenance cost was near zero. According to him: “We are pushing for Nigeria to do a concrete road. It is cheaper to do a concrete road that will last 50 years than to do a bitumen road. It will also help in eliminating corruption because if you go and build a bitumen road, it will have to be adequately maintained unlike a concrete road that is very durable.” It would be recalled that the company had just expanded its frontiers to Asia, by constructing a 3 million metric tons per annum (mmtpa), Cement Plant in Nepal, as part of its new investment of $4.34 billion into 10 African countries. Currently in 15 African countries, excluding Kenya, Niger and Mali, which are new projects. The company’s current total capacity stands at 48mmtpa, out of which Nigeria alone has the largest chunk of 29.3mmtpa. Dangote recently said: “…..We are not only building cement plants in Africa, we have gone far away to NEPAL to build a 3 million metric tons Cement Plant capacity and by the time all these our new projects are completed in the next two years, Dangote Cement will have more than 70 million capacity but we are not going to stop there, hopefully, by 2020, our targets is getting to somewhere around 100 million tons capacity. "I can assure you categorically that Africa will not lack cement now and even in the future…Africa will be self -sufficient rather than be a dumping ground for other manufacturers of cement. “ The new Plants for which agreement was signed recently with Sinoma, was on the construction of the following Plants: 3mmtpa in Nepal, 2.5mmtpa in Ethiopia, 3mmtpa in both Kenya 1&2; 1.5mmtpa in Zambia; 1.5mmtpa in Senegal, 1.5mmtpa in Niger, 1.5mmtpa in Mali, Cameroon, Cote D’Ivoire and Ghana also have Plants of 1.5mmtpa capacity respectively. It would be recalled that Dangote Cement recently commissioned its 1.5 million metric tonnes per annum (mmtpa) capacity cement plant valued at $400 million with a 30 megawatts coal plant to power the factory. The project was inaugurated by Zambia President , Edgar Chagwa Lungu, at Masasiti district, Ndola, Zambia. http://www.thisdaylive.com/articles/concrete-road-cheaper-durable-says-dangote/220608/ left: concrete right:bitumen lalasticlala |
