Oh you mean he should always consult "baba" first?

...and if she hasn't been faithful?

LordKO:
If you've been faithful to him, don't give him and also kindly walkout of the relationship. Such a guy can never make a good partner in the long run.

It hurts when someone you've been loyal to, continually metes out distrust or unappreciation towards you. Obviously you're dealing with a domineering guy. . . Prejudice, jealousy and insatiableness are their major hallmarks.

You owe him loyalty not servility. A healthy relationship never drain's either of the parties involved.

Its obvious you haven't travelled to Europe or the US!

That's why you don't know that there is a moral side of leadership.

I was in the UK when the Grenfell fire took place, both the councillor who oversees that area and his bosses( equivalent to our Local Govt chairman and other staff at the council) resigned. They didn't cause the fire nor were they directly responsible for the disaster but they resigned.

There is no "constitutional" requirement that you resign when there is a fire disaster in your borough, but there is a moral requirement since it is perceived that the disaster was preventable.

Your argument is based on ignorance of how democracy actually works.

There is NO democratically elected leader of a country(esp in The West) that can disappear for months on end attending to his health and not resign his post.

Your arguments that Osinbajo is in power also show that you haven't worked in any serious organisation as well.

Anybody who is "acting" for his boss is severely limited in his ability to discharge duties as it is expected that he maintain status quo until his boss returns. That is fine for a routine job but not one that requires dynamism and quick thinking. That's why "acting" is deemed to be acceptable only for a short time. I will stop here because there is much you do not know and I think I have said enough.

ddippset:
He's only a reporter and I totally condemn this treatment. However every other protester should be severely dealth with. Tear gas them, lash them severely with koboko. Since they have allowed themselves to be used by demonic pdp politicians. Nigeria is not governed by sentiments. The constitution even allows Osinbajo to act as president even until 2019. The constitution does not stipulate any time frame. Even though i admit it is a constitutional flaw but it isnt Buhari's fault and until it is amended everybody shut up for now. The reason why Buhari and Osinbajo ran on a joint ticket is for times like this. Buhari has lawfully and legally empowered Osinbajo to be president as required by the constitution. Only the national assembly or the FEC can remove Buhari at their own discretion and not organizing rallies and constituting public nuisance as if there was any vacuum in power. If anyone thinks Buhari has violated the constitution the courts are the right place not the streets. Any miscreant who is willing to be a PDP tool must be ready to collect koboko and tear gas. NANSENSE!

It will soon be 2 and a half years of lurching from one failure to another and somebody is praying that it "will" succeed.

A child is always last in class and instead of combining practical steps with prayers, the parents keep saying the child will come first. Nonsense!

God never intended for us to turn spirituality into religion. We did that all on our own.

Spirituality is the strategic combination of divine promises with practical actions while religion is the abandonment of any form of intellectual exertion in pursuit of misguided hopes.

Having interacted with whites since the age of two and now being in my forties I can comfortably say he is an example of what he hates so much.

Nobody of sound intellect degenerates into insults so quickly because a person is expressing an opinion or an argument that they consider intellectually inferior. Especially when said person is being polite.

I thought he was an example of the sound mind he so much admires until that last post.

But he gave himself away.

TheLordIsGr8:
I pondered real hard on whether to respond to this comment. I decided to respond just in case somebody else is reading. You have devolved into insult. How could you lose respect for me because I expressed my opinion. Or did you lose respect for me because you have seen I have no common sense?

I have no brain. I am brain dead. I'm like a stone. Come on man. You have no monopoly on insult but try to make your point. I'm only waiting for you to tell me how the hiring of expatriates is attributable to a lack of intelligence on the part of Nigerians. Instead you keep shifting posts and now you've devolved into insults.

Have a nice day.

Please I would like to find out more about the visa on arrival. What's the official cost?

brodalikeme:
Op, you just beat me to this write up. Two week back, i had to pay for visa on arrival for some people we invited for a training and was shocked at what i saw at the immigration post in Abuja airport. A sign on the wall boldly pasted the visa fees but when you produce the said another, you will be asked to top with up with a minimum of $30 (a processing fee). I didn't see any logic in it because it was immigration guys that pasted the rate on the wall, they still collect a $30 from you and then issue you a receipt that is not carrying their name ( Nigeria Immigration Service). Another thing is that the processing fee is not even commensurate with the visa fee. Imagine someone paying $6 being asked to pay $30 processing fee.

You really need to get out more.

To believe that cash in the bank is synonymous with power tells us a lot about you.

Power is related to your ability to influence people who may or may not even know you exist.

Among the top 25 most powerful women in the world only Michelle Obama and Oprah Winfrey make the list as black women.

Even when you go further down the list to top 80; Okonjo is there but definitely not Alakija as she has plenty money but little power.

There is no world leader who will reject Okonjo's call especially those with economic interests in Africa.

Meanwhile, if they hear Alakija is on line they will say Alakija who?

Alakija is very quiet and I admire her for that

PoliticsRe: Adamu Adamu Doesn't Shake Women's Hand - Twitter User by VULCAN(m): 9:21am On May 11, 2017
There is nothing wrong with Religion per se. The two universities you mentioned have religious roots.

The first college in Cambridge was founded by a Bishop and Yale was founded by some Puritans. Once upon a time Christianity was known for its attachment to knowledge and thirst for learning. Currently that cannot be said to be the case.

Where the problem comes in is when you combine Religion, illiteracy, poverty and a wicked heart, which is common in Africa and parts of the Middle East

This creates a deadly combination of unthinking zombie zealots who can be found in both Christianity and Islam especially here in Nigeria, although obviously there's more of such in Islam since it has never been known to stimulate intellectual activities on a memorable scale.

Religion built Dubai and Religion built Almajiri schools in northern Nigeria. I'm sure you can see the difference?

Let's compare the CV of the Junior Minister of Education with his superior Adamu Adamu. It will help us see how committed the present govt is to Education.

"Prof. Anthony Anwuka is a seasoned Professor of Education and an experienced Public Administrator who was once the Vice Chancellor of the Imo State University, Owerri for five years.

Anwuka did his doctorate degree programme in General Curriculum, System Analysis and Social Studies at the University of Washington Seattle, USA in 1977 and also his Masters in Educational Administration and Planning at the University of Portland, Oregon USA in 1975. At Fourah Bay, University of Serra Leone,(1974), where he studied English Language and Literature."

Let me stop here as the man's CV is too long and let's see Adamu's, according to Wikipedia:

"President Muhammadu Buhari appointed Adamu Adamu a well known journalist, and loyalist to the president as the minister for education in November 2015."

So a Prof. of Education is serving as a Junior Education minister to a Journalist.

What does that tell you?

Christianity EtcRe: Apostle Suleman Reacts To Stephanie Otobo’s Claim That She’s Now ‘born Again by VULCAN(m): 6:29pm On May 07, 2017
You should do your homework instead of making snap judgements.

How many times have you watched his services or crusades before you concluded?

To pass judgement without investigation is a sign of either prejudice, incompetence or corruption.

I have seen him give out dozens of cars and millions of naira to both low and middle class people over the past couple of years.

He has also paid rent and built houses for a few indigent souls as well

That you are just hearing of him does not automatically imply that others are just hearing of him also.

There are church services on YouTube that you can watch and see all I have said previously if you are so inclined.

But if not, then just carry on as I know its very difficult to realign a prejudiced mind.

texazzpete:
I have made a significant point. You're just in denial at this point. But that doesn't come as a surprise to me.

EducationRe: The Illegality Of Covenant University Students’ Suspension By School Management by VULCAN(m): 9:33pm On May 03, 2017
For those of you that agree with the OP you must remember that most Africans have become brainwashed to submit to authority no matter the type due to a combination of African parenting which does not tolerate nonsense and military rule which is worse.

So don't feel bad that so many peeps are saying they "signed up for it" meaning that if the VC decides to torture a student to near death it is acceptable since said student "signed up for it"

Whatever covenant uni put in their handbook supercedes Nigerian law as far as many are concerned.

Very few black Africans have an indepth experiential knowledge of the concept of freedom, basic human rights and rule of law

Although you are right that there are other forms of tourism, i doubt if there is any other form that is as cheap as religious tourism.

For Medical you have to build world class hospitals

For nature you have to build infrastructure to get people there, that's assuming we have enough of such natural beauty spots to attract foreigners.
There are hundreds of places on the earth outside Nigeria that have unbelievably beautiful and tranquil spots.

Adventure tourism requires you invest in helicopters and mobile emergency clinics to treat the wounded.

I could go on and on but Religious doesnt require anything more than hotels for the foreigners to stay in.

mansakhalifa:
@Kondomatic I was talking about the story that says the FG is pleading with the pastor to stay back in the country. Of course religious tourism is a major scam. There are other forms of tourism to exploit. So why waste our time?

Actually, you were.

But having read all you have written I understand that you're the type that pretends to know it all so that you can be the loudest voice in the room.

Its OK, I agree with you that you are more versed in Economic matters than the previous CBN Governor so that's why his storied evaluation of our economic challenges is wrong and yours is correct. I apologise for doubting your erudite economic curriculum vitae

Now I hope that makes you happy.

People that have an overwhelming need to prove themselves in the midst of others most likely suffer from some sort of inferiority complex.

Thank God at least you didn't lie that you have formal training on Financial or Economic matters so I presume you learnt all you know from the internet or perhaps just listening to Kemi Adeosun.

But like I said Tow the APC line all you like. Every employer of labour in the private sector knows that a Manager who cannot correct the wrongs of the previous Manager won't be a Manager for very long.

I notice that you are unable to provide solutions to the current quaqmire so your armchair economic prowess can't deliver much outside of criticism of the previous govt.

Tell your APC masters not to bother to improve the economy as they promised us but just to reverse it to the "disaster" that they met it. Then we can take it from there.

obailala:
Mr man, I wasnt double speaking when I mentioned that lack of forex is the cause of the economic crisis. I shouldnt have to explain to you that the oil crisis is the cause of the forex scarcity, even a child on the streets knows this so I'm suprised a self acclaimed finance expert thinks I am 'changing stance' when I mention 'oil crisis' at one point and mention 'forex scarcity' at another instance. It's a pity, but if you do not know the relationship between the two, then I would be wasting my time trying to argue with you. I would assume you know better but only made the 'double speak' accusation just for the sake of arguments; so I would ignore that.

Regarding Sanusi's speech on GDP, I would attempt to break it down for you and I believe it should be simple to understand if you put political sentiments away (not every topic should be analysed politically). The fuel tank may be a tiny part of a car, but if it is punctured and the fluid leaks, the entire car would be grounded. Oil or the oil industry may make up only 15% of Nigeria's GDP, but this same oil supplies 93% of Nigeria's entire forex income. Remember Nigeria is pathetically an import dependent country that imports almost 100% of its energy (petrol and diesel)?.... Anything that affects the flow of forex, affects the exchange rate and the exchange rate influences the inflation rate and in all, the availability of forex influences every other part of Nigeria's GDP.

In essence, that tiny oil industry produces the life blood which drives every other sector of the country; kill the oil industry and watch as every other sector (which depends on that forex coming from the oil industry) withers away as is currently the case in Nigeria. Hence why several economic experts have always called for diversification of Nigeria's forex income source so the nation's life would stop being tied to just oil, oil and oil.

So a little advice, try and use your education better than just listening to the words of one economist (which you didnt even underatand) and moulding your opinions based on it. I dont have to be an economist or a finance specialist to understand this.
PoliticsRe: Between Kemi Adeosun And Peter Obi On The Platform (Photos) by VULCAN(m): 12:39am On May 03, 2017
Had it been you bothered to read Sanusi's speech like I implored you you would have learnt a thing or two.

But apparently you have more experience running Nigeria's economy than he does

Its clear you an APC apologist cos they never accept a position different from their own. Jonathan is the reason why they couldn't achieve erection last night.

Indeed You are a very confused fellow.

I responded to your post wherein you said our problems are due to troubles in the oil sector. Emir Sanusi said its not so.

Now your ranting about foreign exchange as being the cause of our problems.

Are you schizophrenic? If not, make up your mind on what you feel is responsible for the economic downturn

And for the fact that you stupidly implied I know nothing of the subject matter despite not knowing me...

...My first degree was in Finance.

What was yours?

obailala:
Are you aware that the chief cause of Nigeria's presently economic crisis is the dollar scarcity and its consequent effect on our exchange rate?

Are you aware that oil still accounts for about 93% of Nigeria's forex earnings?

Before you go out to make analysis based on complex GDP figures which you have no clue about, you should first try and educate yourself on the most basic economics.
