But seriously since this amotekun noise, the herdsmen have gone quiet. Deyve moved to d north to join their fellow bandits. D amotekun never even start o but they saw how all yorubas united with one voice. Dey wanted to use mumuric but him people no even send am now hes gone underground. Truly theres power in unity. Dont mind dose our igbo leaders in d east they are looking for presidency and dey dont have d igbos by the balls so if dey mess up na everyday dem go dey beat dem. These ones too cannot be penetrated. Then the south, dey are almost a complete squad after which una go hear am
yeah.... take a good cue with the okada ban too, fear of defeat and death isn't related to one side alone, in combat they tell u "even the enemy is afraid"

I think and hope that this force remains as a single United front and be not compromised.

eventually the menace would be nuetralised even without firing a shot, terrorist fear thesame modus they adopt and that is "not afraid of dying or death"

OPC did the same.

There ought to be a check somewhere. Else, amotekun will sure pounce on the small animals around it.
the need that necessitate AMOTEKUN dictates the mandate and am sure the public is Keen on their operation

AMOTEKUN can't be seen at bustop or sidewalk flagging down motorist or harrassing dreadlocked guys.

this is the kind of response needed to combat extremism, it is psychology, motivating and cap it all spiritual.

Leaders should emulate this act, you lead by pronouncing victory for your soldiers and disorientating the enemy with fear. compare to what politicians are always saying, confusing the people and creating fear and impression that terrorist are Supermen and untouchables.

Godbless the Man of God for lending his voice to correct the rot in the country and been on the side of right. Amen.

I salute his courage too.

the intelligence community are learning counter terrorism in Africa, the technology and training involved in it is still novelty to us.

Our security services are majorly trained for open warfare, counter terrorism exceeds that. MI5, MI6, CIA, KGB have a larger workforce of civilians analysing Intel and disseminating to ground forces for action. the reverse is the case here, soldiers are used at least that's what we see them doing

1. intelligence gathering is crude and weak and obviously not processed by trained personnel, the Rev could have had a meaningful contribution as at then, however it is reduced to noise by politicians and soldiers who have ulterior motives. Nigeria is known for contaminating active Intel with bias and ethnic coloration.

2. The responsibility of the SSS is overshadowed by political processes, going through their mandate and comparing with their foreign counterparts you will notice the wide range of disparity in relevancies.

3. unmanned areas requires technology for surveillance and heavy investment in counter terrorism operation, we are not doing ourselves any good by fighting terrorist with boots on ground without having technology doing reconaissance, human Intel is easily compromised among this ethnic loyalist and religious bigots

Technology in the hands of committed officers is feared by terrorist.

Moreso extremist view dosent culminate to terrorism overnight, thousands of Uk & US of Arab descents are under surveillance but we're never arrested : that is the core job.

buying planes and sending tanks to a ground operations that has been compromised from the start is what is stalling this war.

the UK & some western allies are conducting millitary operations presently in the Sahel, that is aproppiate considering it is search and kill.

I believe our security chiefs and intelligence community heads are educated enough to understand that counter terrorism starts first as urban warfare but they choose to ignore or perhaps are too engrossed in political whims and financial gains.

There is an urgent need for servicemen to stop romancing with politicians and acts as proffessionals to save themselves as well as this country.

justifying illegality with illegality.

The entire opinion of the reactant is simply promoting promiscuity and reducing an institution ordained by God to flings.

His failed marriage has warped his view of marriage and hence he's givin backings to the threat of the institution.

To understand a problem one needs to have succeeded in tackling or have an experience of solving similar or same problem.

youth should be wary of giving mic to poisoned minds.

a sex adventurous man cannot be satisfied untill he met his loo. his focus should be his marriage.

a lady with no moral intuition and focus in life would say yes to inappropriate relationship.

a married woman with no character would engage in public fight, her focus should be satisfying her husband.

that is the basic and simple truth no shades

But wrong for Nigeria to release renounced Boko Haram suspects.

For many years, the USA told us the Taliban were a terrorist group.

Yet they've negotiated with terrorists today.
Status of a group can change overtime especially when conditions as these are considered.... peace deal from bilateral talks, cease fire, power sharing and above all end to hostility towards the country of interest.

The Muslim community should understand from this gesture that America is not against Islam

Truth be told, confronting a side chick is wrong. What about the man that couldn't control the groin between his legs? Leave that girl, the man should be blamed not the girl.
this are consenting adults, both have the blame. you can confront any one intruding into your marriage, just that people approach it the wrong way. there are several ways to deal with Intruders without appearing on camera

i had earlier stated my reservations about this story of CoS and NSA.

writing about administrative hegemony isn't journalism, and particularly attaching a classified internal memo to it is really not in national interest

What purpose has this piece of information achieve if not dissention among staffers of the affected persons and disgust in Nigerians.

Every administrator understands the bureaucracy in policy implementation and red tape.

Did it not occur to him that such issues might be resolved internally and not even debatable in the public domain ? overzealousness I see here,

Let public official publicise their discontent at work or when approached by journalist, journalist have no business second guessing govt business done in the confines of their respected offices.

Journalist should unveil the truth. too many inconsistencies and to think this is all about a life threatening disease!

I still await WHO evaluation on the cases in Africa.

Ng journalist are yet to understand the import of debunking govt claims without dishing out evidences that would convince Nigerians.

what happens to investigative journalism?eventually govt would debunk these story and the writer would be slapped to false confession.

The nurse response might be a pointer to the suspicion that it's all scam.

Politics › Re: South-West Lawmakers Reject Miyetti Allah’s Request To Join Amotekun by Vulcan24(m): 9:42pm On Feb 28, 2020
Lawmakers need to remind them, that the security outfit was set up to curb the excesses of their members and rogue elements within them

Sincerity on the part of the cattlebreeders asso would be to exchange intel, reorganise the group to flush out the rogue elements and suport d security group wit funds. corroborating them at this early stage risk sabotage and security leak in operation n Intel.

asking for inclusion is naive, immature and an obvious lack of intelligence in the association, these points to d several reasons why they are infiltrated by rogues.

SW should tighten operational control and ensure a water tight information gathering network and system or else they risk higher casualty during operations.

more importantly conventional security operatives are not to be fully trusted. a failed system remains a failed system unless rejig.

I think the media has lots to do in being proffesional.... I read through this post and comparing with the headline, I concluded it's practically journalism trying to fill up the void for readers not the nation's interest

the remainder of the stories are inconsequential and distractions to well meaning Nigerians and the persons in question.

CoS are known to be the eyes and ears of president's in democratic system and could hold unquestionable powers, the onus lies on the president's cabinet to prove their worth and carryout their duties as proffesionals and devoted men.

Warning the CoS through memo or questioning his span of authority on matters that concerns even the bread seller on the street is not needed right now and creating unnecessary tension in administration.

there might be a separate and other cause of dislike among them, which is not suppose to be in public light but for the selfish and ethnic power tussle bedevelling this adminstration.

Nigerians would bear the brunt.
Politics › Re: Rebecca Sharibu Joins London Protest On Leah Sharibu 2nd Anniversary Abduction by Vulcan24(m): 8:48am On Feb 27, 2020
Terrorism in Africa: the dark continent has experience long years of poor socio economic development & advancement making it hard for meaningful progress in anything.

howbeit it has become a playground for all acts of barbarism, scholars oughto have given a diff definition of the act of terror occuring in Africa, it is simply self imposed, child of years of bad leadership and state sponsored.

the clear line is drawn in the west, Govt vs ideology. their govt enshrines tolerance and impartial rule of law and clamp down on deviant. Africa & African govt are their own deviant and ultimately uses the law to attain their capricious intent, how would terror be quelled ?

The governed hence need to rise up to the challenge facing and realize Terrorism is govt and govt is terrorism.

the answer to the problem lies in practising True Democracy.

Leah s mother has picked a democratic clime to champion her cause, where Justice and empathy can be heard without prejudice....

Nigeria, Africa would rise.
