The reason is you did not understand the business. People took years to learn stock trading and crypto ttafing before they can venture into it. But some just ut within few weeks of hearing it starts to invest. There is no reason you wil not lose your money.
ProfGday:
The public should beware of misinformation like the above. Do your research don't allow stupid fools to scam you of ur hard earn money.

NBC shares and Nigerian Stock Exchange have been a conduit for scamming the public since thieves such as Ndi Okereke-Onyiuke,Dangote took over since 2000-2010 upward. These two wrecked the lives of shareholders. My family was a big victim of their greed and kleptomaniac behaviors.

It shall never be well with them all.

Apart from games and tournaments, with Binary options you can make N1m with N40k in a day if you get 10 trades correct. But really difficult. Mexc has a similar trade options and genuine in case you are interested and good in trading

SportsRe: Taribo West’s Salary In 1999 Emerges After Criticising FG For Abandoning Rufai by wacuc0: 4:30am On Aug 26, 2025
Transfer fee has nothing to do with salary. Transfer fee is buying over a contract from an existing one and it goes mainly to the club not players. You can be bought for 1m dollars or even a free transfer if your contract is finished and got paid millions of dollars. Messi got a free transfer and is earning big. Same for most of the players in Saudi Arabia earning big. Buying of players is the business of the club owners and directors, That is how they make their money.

Kukutente23:
PM news was known for fake news
Where did they get the figure from?
Jaap Stam became the most expensive player in football history in 1998 when he transferred from PSV to Man Utd and the total fee was £10.6m.
I just checked. Taribo's movement to Inter from Auxerre was €3m in 1997 so how is he able to be earning over half of his transfer fee every year? That's a big fat lie

SportsRe: D'Tigress' Home Grown Players And The Popularity Of Basketball In Nigeria by wacuc0: 2:54pm On Aug 09, 2025
You people should leave Government alone.
In other countries is it government that invest in Basket Ball or sports in general ?. Africa as a whole are not good investors generally. We like keeping money and watching it. 95% of sports in Europe, America and Australia are private based. It is because it require time to mature for profit, and we are not ready as black to wait for that. See the investment in Remos stars. They have started seeing positive results with great profits after several years. How many Nigerians can wait. Import from China this month and make profit next month and kill the economy and future of the young once. That is our life.

SmartPolician:
Forget grammar. Basketball is not popular in Nigeria because of lack of government investment.

The day the government starts investing billions into basketball in Nigeria, every child will want to be a basketball player. That's how powerful government is.

From this thread, we can see that most investments in basketball come from individuals and organisations.
BusinessRe: Top 11 Biggest Cement Producers In The World by wacuc0: 4:23pm On Aug 06, 2025
One major problems we have here is we build almost every thing with blocks and spend much on fencing houses. This is not the case in developed countries.
Houses are simple and less block work so what they have as per cement will be enough to go round and remain for export.

Na #17 Presco shock me pass - a company making over a billion dollars by investing in palm oil! When I imagine how we can invest massively in palm oil and make billions of dollars from it yet everyone is running to Abuja to share $50 billion of petrodollars every year, I feel terrible about the kind of leaders we have. That's why I keep arguing that blacks are not fit for self-rule!
Not leaders, every body is entitled to invest. PRESCO is not owned by the leaders. Africa is not good investors globally.

CelebritiesRe: Tom Njemanze Battles Prostate Cancer, Solicits Financial Help by wacuc0: 7:47am On Jul 05, 2025
There are health insurance schemes.
Nigerians are not good people. More in the health sector. The doctors refused to invest on this sector and the much the Government has done they make sure it does not see the light of the day. Hospitals collude with health insurance and park the money meant for people's health and facility development. It is people that carry out development of the country like other countries. It is only in Africa we take 100m dollars to US and Canada and shout Government is not doing anything. A question, have you seen any foreigner buying house in Africa. They sat down 100years ago and decided to only invest in their country no matter what. Today they are on top of the world and we are running over here to abandon ours.

OChimex:
Get well soon Mr Tom.

What a useless country. Look at the hospital like a morgue.
Just look at oxygen tank like Carbide tank used by village welders
No govt health insurance for people?
No payment plan for people to pay later

the hunger problem nko, 100k doesn't last 10 days now. We are in deep shit wey pass anus own.... Na person wey hunger never hit na him dey remember say na bed him still dey sleep, if hunger hit you wella, you go dey roll for ground holding your stomach .. government should work on the inflation, project might be good but hunger leads to anger and anger lead to crisis while crisis destroy projects
What improves economy and solve inflation problem is investment. This investment can put up over 2m people at work and estimated 10million families can be out of poverty. Our major problem in black nations is we don't like to invest money in business. We are only looking for money for merriment, build big houses and by SUV. No where in a developed nation such is done. The houses in our villages are more expensive than what you see in many cities in Canada, Australia, New Zealand etc. But we still leave in dirty and undeveloped environment, no flowerers, no trees, no green areas, no pave lawns, no smooth road. It is what we call good life that matters for us to be where we supposed to be.

NNPC should stop reporting its lodgements and revenue in naira. When they mention worthless naira, it looks as if it's a lot of money. For crying out loud, NNPC sells crude oil in USD to overseas buyers.
Not proper to report financial dealings in another country's denomination. You can only use and international currency agreed for an international trade across border.

Do you go to weekly church programs?
I doubt because if you do, your flesh will be kept under as your spirit is being lifted at such programs but it's obvious the only things you feed your soul with are thoughts of sex and wild imaginations of sex.
Watching sexual videos and all sorts.

If you want to get your mind off it, think and dwell more on spiritual things like the word of God. Gospel songs and if possible, fasting and prayers asking the holy spirit to help ( he can help you). That is if you're even a christian.
This is a discussion forum not for abuse. We are all human, it is a simple question and if you have a superior argument on what to do, simply educate people and win souls for Christ with more decent and civil language.
EducationRe: ASUU Strike: Committee Of VCs Recommend ₦800,000 For Profs, To Resolve Deadlock by wacuc0: 2:28pm On Sep 06, 2022
CzarChris:
Let me say that you are not speaking from a stand point of understanding. How many directors of level 16 are PhD holders? Of primary school teachers that are Masters degree holders? Remember that those specialized doctors are also taught by professors in that field. You spoke about Indian professors, but I thank God you corrected yourself by hinting on the devaluation of our currency, our money has absolutely zero worth as it is right now.
Do you know that you keep publishing in journals, both local and international, you do research with zero support from our government or industries in the form of grants. So you do your research from your own pocket, you pay for your publications (most times in dollars) from your own pocket. And you say 800k is too much? HABA!!! Get small conscience nah, I published 2 papers in international journals last year the cheapest cost me $100. By our current exchange rate, that's around ~71,000naira now, don't get me started on my ongoing protons exchange research, that's costing millions of my personal money, I send samples to labs in Canada and Netherlands because we don't have the needed equipment in Nigeria here. A course mate of mine who lectures in the UK was given a €2,000,000 grant by the EU. TWO MILLION EUROS!!! Do you understand where I'm coming from now?
Well, not that it matters to me anymore now. I have been disillusioned by this country as it is right now. So goodluck to y'all.
This sounds well. But the truth is that our professors are not innovative. How can we have hundreds of them and they can not come with a solution of making money to run projects, research and finance the schools.

A Nigeria in Yale university who is a professor of African studies argued that laziness, greed and free money is what is killing our universities. Yale university had a budget of 25b dollar a year and over 80% of that came from Alumini, Sports, research, patency. Why can't our universities do even one.
Work athletic, commonwealth games, Olympic are made up is university students from the world making millions of dollars from endorsements. None not even one from a Nigerian university for over 50years. This one is not a rocket science.

The idea of waiting for allocation is the course of our not moving forward. I remember the days of PMAN, waiting for allocation from government to run entertainment industry. Nigeria music was among the top bottom in the world. Here come 2015 the same industry asked themselves we can not continue. Today we are among the top 3 in the world.

Summarily, any industry in Nigeria that goes away from government subvention and look inward can blossom and rule the world. We have the biggest market in Africa, so why can't we do it.

For our Federal university remember the accomodations fees, admission fee, acceptance fee are not paid to the government, amounting to billions what do they do with it. Share, share and share .

Can we leave the western people alone and manage our resources ? Stop Aids and Borrowing, because this makes us a slave to them and they detect how we run our country. We blame the Federal Government, but most of our problems comes because we are slaves to the Western world and they detect in their favour how we should run our economy.
