A life changing inspirational quotes and messages from different world preachers, focusing on inspiring you for the day and bringing fulfillment of joy into your life.
Welcome to One Minute with God.

Our inspirational message is taken from the book of John 6 verse 35.

And Jesus said unto them, I am the bread of life, he that cometh to me shall never hunger, and he that believeth on me shall never thirst.

Life is precious to us who are living, fueled by food and water to give us strength and good health every day. Have you considered feeding your soul? Does your soul have enough strength today? Have you thought of holding on to the man that is the bread of life? This is the bread that feeds your body and soul. HE thought us to pray this way, “Give us this day our daily bread”. The bread you will taste and shall never hunger. That is Jesus. He that gives the living water and you shall never thirst again. Having him today in your life will give you room for full life satisfaction. He has given you the bread of life, which is salvation. It is the food that endures to eternal life, which only the Son of Man can give. Come to Him and have that bread.

Sports / Re: Keshi Shuts Out Martins, Iheanacho From Super Eagles by wacuc0: 8:01am On Sep 23, 2014
Gentlemen, can you remember the last time Martins played for Nigeria at the Calabar Stadium? He was tied, too slow and people were shouting to remove him. That he is scoring in USA does not make him good enough to play for Super Eagles. The same way Thiery Henry can not be called to France National Team. For Ihenacho, calling him now might spoil the show. You can not gamble with a young player's future. Keshi is a professional and he knows this. Since he has not established himself (Iheanacho) yet in his (Man City) team as a senior player, any poor performance in the national team will ruin his career. All of us will now shout, why did Keshi used him. Everything has its time. Just wait a little his time will come.

People are shouting Keshi is working with luck. Good enough, without lucky on your side you can never make a progress no matter how good you are. This luck is sometimes called GRACE. People bear child and give them names like LUCKY not HARDWORK. But only luck can not win the game, Keshi- He did it as a player in NNB and as SE captian, He did it in Benlgium, He did it in France, He did it as an aisstant coach to Amodu, he did it in Togo and he did it in Mali also has done it in Nigeria. This luck must be too much for one man. Why not support him with his luck.

Okijajuju1:

So is it okay for us to call those motorcycles that are imported in bits and pieces from China, assembled in Nigeria with a new name 'Made in Nigeria' motorcycles?!

If I go and buy a Samsung Television from China, bring it into Nigeria, pluck off the Label and replace it with OKIJA TV logo, does that now make the T.V Made by Okija Juju?!
That is not your product. A product is person's original concept put into production not minding who have contributed in making it.

grin

STop arguing this matter my guy.. You cant win this. grin

That will still be a KIA product. The same way if Innoson opens an outfit in Korea. It will be a Nigeria car. A product name is the owneer not the contributors. I can open a company with my ideas and allow people to contribute 75% to it. That does not change it from the name. It will still be mine.

If KIA Motors opens an assembly plant in Nigeria and starts assembling KIA cars here, would it be okay to buy those cars as 'Made In Nigeria Cars'?

Please all, I took some time reading all the post on this article. I really appreciate people proud of what they have instead of boasting of my friends property (Europe and Asia). If it is not yours it can never be yours. BMW, Toyota, KIA etc are not yours. Just forget them and face IVM that is Nigeiran. If you know how Toyota started, you will be proud of what Innoson is doing. If you read alittle of the history (TOYOTA) 80% of their parts were produced by 3rd party companies. Mr. Honda the owner of HONDA Motors was a contractor to Toyota company, producing parts like the axle, gear box etc until his products were rejected for not meeting standard and he left to set-up his company in annoyance. DANGOTE started and people critisized, now he is the richest man in Africa. Tomorrow Innoson will be among the top then in African. He started well and he is growing so fast. No company in the world produces 100% of their parts. Why not encourage an enterprenour in this country for us to solve this un-employment saga. The same way we killed our football here, saying I am a Chelsea fan, I am a Man U fan, I am Arsenal fan. Me I can never do that. Mine is mine, theirs is theirs. We should wake up from mental, social, cultural and economical enslavement and enjoy originality to embrace freedom.

Religion / Re: Numbers 18 Faults Oyedepo’s Teaching On Tithes by wacuc0: 10:31am On Jul 13, 2014
On the issue of tithe. I think it is basically thought about in the old testerment. During Chirst time never any where is the issue of titthe mentioned. It is basically because of the 10% in the tithe that it is making news here and there. In the Bible, the book of Malachy "... you have robbed me in your tithe and offering..." no body, no pastor ever mentioned or lay emphasis on offering because no percentage was attached to it. The new testament tells us to give and give continually. The disciples in the book of ACTs gathered to give all for the work of God not 10% to church or pastor. Christ once said You saw me hungry you did noot give me food, you saw me nacked you did not give me clothe. The question is when did we see you my Lord. The poor and hungry people you see along and ingore them to give millions to pastors ars the Christ we are talking of. Then which one is the best, to Honour Christ or honour pastors.
