Nigeria's state-run oil firm NNPC and China State Construction Engineering Corporation (CSCEC) have signed a $23bn (£16bn; 18bn euros) deal. The two will jointly seek financing and credits from Chinese authorities and banks to build three refineries and a fuel complex in Nigeria. The project would add 750,000 barrels per day of extra refining capacity. NNPC hopes the construction of new refineries will stem the flood of imported refined products into Nigeria. 'Deepen relationships' Nigeria is the world's 12th-largest oil producer and the eighth-largest oil exporter. But the country imports roughly 85% of its fuel needs because of the disrepair and mismanagement of its four state-owned refineries. "We are about to deepen the existing technical and commercial relationships between China and Nigeria through the signing of a memorandum of understanding," said Shehu Ladan, head of NNPC. The three refineries will be built in Bayelsa, Kogi and Lagos states, while a location has to be confirmed for the petrochemicals complex. The Nigerian government has said that foreign companies must invest in developing Nigeria's infrastructure and economy first, before they can benefit from its oil and gas exports. http://www.bbc.com/news/10116945 This is one step in the right direction. Let's hope it materialize quickly. |
Mine came with a 1k bonus. Heck! I don't give a damn, never going to visit no f**king center for this purpose. They need me as much as I need them, I have my contact address supplied, they should shift from their comfort zone and come to my hood. Isn't MTN everywhere you go again? Enough is enough. .... welcome Ntel |
Wonder shall never end ooo. Don't even know how to describe this. Few minutes ago I was at the eatery for launch. For whatever reason I decided to sit near this dude who looks cool, well dressed and busy with a phone that looks like a blackberry z series. I didn't exchange pleasantries with him, I sat down, took my meal. When I was done and about to leave, I heard the dude whisper, Good afternoon sir, pls I need your help. I turned to him and politely said ,Good afternoon, how can I be of help? And then the story of how he traveled down to see his uncle but didn't meet him and that he is broke and needs to go back to Abuja blabla. As he was narrating his story, something within me told me he was not for real. I mean the story was cooked up. Well, I reached out to my wallet and gave him some money. He thanked me and I headed down stairs. But..... On my way down the stairs, I noticed I was not holding my phone, searched my pocket but did find it. For two seconds I was lost in thought. Then I hurried back, with the thought that I might have left it on the table, lol and behold, it was not there, I asked around for the guy but no one was giving me any helpful answer. The security guys were alerted and a call was made to the men downstairs. To cut the story short, the guy was caught by a whisker. I was astounded. I just recovered my phone from him,got into my car and drove off. Na crime to be Mr nice again? |
I can forgive many things done against me, certainly not a cheating wife! @Op you have the facts, send the bitch packing before you end up being packed! |
THE Federal government Monday alerted Nigerians to prepare ahead for what it termed, more austere conditions in view of the strict economic policies being put in place by the Muhammadu Buhari led administration, just as it vowed to strictly monitor expenditure of all Ministries, Department and Agencies, MDAs to avoid wastes. The Federal government has also planned to in that 2016 budget, reduce the Personnel cost form N1.8 trillion to N100 billion as part of moves to reduce expenditure and save cost.According to the government, an excess of N1 trillion was spend on fuel subsidy in the year 2015 which include the Nigeria National Petroleum Corporation, NNPC, just as it disclosed that attention would be given to Internally Generated Revenue, IGR to fund the N6 trillion 2016 budget, adding that in 2016, it would remove fuel subsidy, move the price of petrol per liter from N87 to N97. These were disclosed Monday when the Ministers for Budget and National Planning, Udoma Udo Udoma; Finance, Mrs Kemi Adeosun and State for Petroleum Resource; Emmanuel Ibe Kachikwu; Governor, Central Bank of Nigeria, Godwin Emefiele; Executive Chairman, Federal Inland Revenue Service, FIRS, Babatunde Fowler appeared before the joint committee s of the National Assembly on Finance to defend the 2016, 2017 and 2018 Medium Term Expenditure Framework and Fiscal Strategy Paper, MTEF & FSP documents presented to the National Assembly by President Muhammadu Buhari. http://www.vanguardngr.com/2015/12/fg-to-move-fuel-price-from-n87-to-n97-to-remove-subsidy-next-year/ |
If you have got the husband's cell phone number, use a landline or call center and expose the philandering wife and betrayal friend. By that you would have saved everyone including your identity. Peace. |
Below is the October federal allocation as accrued to each state. Osun case caught my attention. Why the huge deductions, has the government borrowed so much that only 55million balance is received as allocation? Can the borrowings if that's the case be justified? This is pitiable.

The Treasury Single Account (TSA) contract that gave out 1% as remittance fee for all government accounts moved to the Central Bank of Nigeria was signed under the regime of Goodluck Jonathan in 2012, a CBN source has revealed to SaharaReporters. The Peoples Democratic Party had claimed recently that the TSA policy was formulated under former President Jonathan. However, due to weak regulations and corruption in the system, several ministries, departments and agencies of the Nigerian government refused to conform with the TSA policy. A company, Systemspecs Ltd, founded by John Tanimola Osaro in 1992, got the contract to oversee the remittance of funds into the TSA. “Remita” is the flagship product of Mr. Obaro’s Systemspecs Ltd. According to our CBN source, the company built in a demand for a 1% fee to be paid to it for all remittances made into the TSA. System specs Ltd is chaired by a former Nigerian Ambassador to the UK and chair of SURE-P program under ex-President Jonathan’s regime. Since President Muhammad Buhari made it mandatory for MDAs to remit funds into the TSA, Systemspecs company had already been paid N8.6 billion when CBN officials claimed they detected the anomaly and forced Mr. Obaro’s company to refund the excessive remittance fee. So far, the TSA account has N1.5 trillion deposited in it, the CBN source said no commission was paid. The Central Bank source said the apex bank was in the process of developing internal competency to enable it to handle the TSA. "We at the Central Bank should be able to handle remittances into the TSA without having to pay any so-called consultants a bloated remittance fee," the source said. SaharaReporters also contacted the former Central Bank Governor, Lamido Sanusi, who is now the Emir of Kano, Muhammad Sanusi II. He asserted that the CBN did not sign any contract with REMITA under his watch. In a series of text messages, he stated that it was the Ministry of Finance and the Accountant General of the Federation who must have signed the contract with REMITA. The former CBN Governor added that only Nigeria's Finance Minister is entitled to pay commission on such payments. He said under his tenure as CBN Governor his team kept pushing for TSA. According to him, the CBN's call for the institution of TSA could be found in the Monetary Policy Committee (MPC) meeting communiques. He told SaharaReporters that some ministers in ex-President Jonathan's government resisted the TSA apparently because they were doing deals with banks. SaharaReporters contacted Mr. Obaro’s company, but he did not respond to our inquiries as at the time of going to press. |
The image in the poster doesn't look photo shop, the question therefore would be how the heck did he get a military uniform if he is not in the military. This is an abuse to the entire Nigeria Army. |
Oops! This is gonna be interesting. Finger crossed as I sidon dey look the event unfold. Good morning good people of this great nation. |
Your problem is half solved! No matter the advice or prayer anyone can give you, once you can't develop the will power to face your challenges head on, I am afraid you will remain imprisoned in your predicament for a long time. You can start by staying clear off those things that easily make you arouse sexually. You know them. Once the urge becomes strong, tell yourself continously "I am in control of myself not you modafucker" do this repeatedly. Set targets for yourself. Something like, this week, no matter what I won't masturbate. Lastly, pray to whatever you believe in for total deliverance from that against your wish. God be with you. |

Nairaland is more than a website, it has evolved into a community. While I strongly recommend that moderation should be made on post and request, outright banning of certain action may pose threat to the survival of this community in the future. When the bans are too much, the interest and fun in Nairaland may be killed. Members should be careful not to fall for scams. God bless Nigeria. |
Meiji:There's nothing to wonder about here. This is the only time in the Nigeria history that you are likely to get justice. Would the PDP lead government under OBJ or Jonathan allow one of their own to sink. It obviously would have been a wasted effort just like many others. My problem is the perceptions of Nigerians, we cry of corruption and stealing, yet we are also quick to condemn when some people are charged for same conducts. If saraki is clean of all charges, let him defend himself. Nobody should be above the law if truly we want a Nigeria of our dream. I submit. |
Hi maxdozie, I would have love to acquire this device but three things are putting me off. The location, the small crack and I wish to dispose my note 3 first. I learnt you have an extended battery of 9000mah for the note 4, can you please tell me where you got it. I have always wished to own one. Thanks |
She stated her terms and conditions right? But the good news is that you guys don't have to accept it if you feel displeased. You should have reminded her,you guys ain't job seekers but corp members only willing to serve your father land. Since it is a private profit making company, that should have been the avenue to nail the modern slave mistress. You guys are graduates, whereas I would be proud to accept no kobo been engaged by the government but working for about 60hrs a week with a stipend of 6k is a no no. You just could not prove your worth if you ended up at that PPA. I am disappointed. |
I have a friend (very close), he is not married yet, works in one of the first generation banks. He's a big guy( too much money) and quite good looking (I fine pass am sha). He was recently transferred to Lagos to work there. Since his transfer, he usually talks about girls/ladies he has met (casual and intimate). I have spoken with him about settling down and getting serious. Now the main palaver. He promised he would heel to my advice the moment he finds a good lady. There's this lady he just met. From his description and the picture he sent, I could see she's someone I had dated in the past. He is convinced he has met his wife.I mean something different from all he has discussed with me. How do you think I should handle this situation. Really confused, he promised to bring her along during Sallah celebration. |
The future is here already. |
Total debt profile of Osun is 87bn inclusive of Bond, commercial bank and other loans. 3.6bn is the real paid monthly. The breakdown is available to NLC and they know it's true. This are mandatory pay - Osun Accountant General ==================== AREGBESOLA'S VIEW AND RESPONSES ------------------------- We then restructured d choking loan.We met with bank for negotiation,it's at d point Buhari agreed to refinance the loan to 20 years. Aregbe. We inherited 600m monthly repayments on inherited loan. We then have to borrow 1bn monthly to add for salary payments. That was what we met. Accountant General is the custodian of all Osun money the Governor can't touch kobo without him. I have renounced my salary 100%. I don't earn salary as the Governor of Osun. With the assurances from, I'm confident that we shall pay all outstanding salaries before the middle of September. Why Osun is focused on d salary issue is because we were fervent in our support and prayer for the removal of Jonathan. We supported Buhari. More than 20bn of Osun 87bn loan was for workers salary. Osun doesn't ve security vote. It's laughable when they say I collect 500m monthly. If anyone is collecting 500m monthly as Security votes we couldn't have achieved all the projects in Osun. Osun earned only 204bn in 4 years. Taxation is compulsory. It's only N1,500 per year for each adult. Let's help our state. Workers must know that we must have mutual understanding. We can't continue with salary alone, we must all now look at the way out together. Pension is also important. Ogbeni met 4.6bn pension debt out of which Ogbeni has paid 1.6bn. Despite all our challenges we'v save 5.8bn in omoluabi conservation fund. We remain committed to Osun future. We've shares& equity worth 10bn. We are committed to mining our resources but Nigeri laws limiting.Even d minimal leverage we are still looking 4 minners, bring d ones u know. We are government for the poor, we cannot stop free education or school feeding, we shall continue.... |

Today is Aregbe's day. I call it confirmation of victory. No cause for tension. The people have decided August the 9th and so shall it be. looking forward to February the 14th...... details later. |
I expected GEJ to articulate his achievements for 6yrs before the mammoth crowd @ TBS. But because it's obvious he has got nothing to tell or show, he resorted to being reactionary. Chai! deariss god oooo! He said his generation has failed us yet he seeks re-election, what "clueslessness" |
mayorall:Osogbo is it bro...... My younger picked at your shop for me. PB is now in my possession plugged to charge. |
micynute94:lovely review with intelligent closing.... I have ordered for one too. I hope my purchase will be satisfactory. |
To start, I go laugh small, smile small and chuckle widely........ Upgrading from JB to Kikat is what I will call moving from stage to stage. I use stage to stage because one stage might be better than the other, in this case however, Kikat seems to the a correction to the glitches on JB. Of course Kikat in itself isn't the perfect upgrade we want! Very soon Samsung will roll out the Android L update. And the experience will changes from "what? "- to - "wow". As par rooting, you gain everything and lose nothing....... You become the mechanic of your device. As in the real owner! As someone who has been on the note 3 for a considerable amount of time, I would say, rooting doesn't stop you from doing an OTA upgrade. Require just Lil knowledge. But why upgrade? No, I won't because I love doing my things all by myself, so the real thing is a custom rom. Custom rom does all the trimming and patching thus giving you a butter smooth rom. Currently on Temasek unofficial build v135....... |
Who God has blessed, no man can curse. Aregbesola is the chosen one. |
Honestly as a resident of Osun, the only way Omisore can win this Saturday's election would be to rig. For a free and fair election, the margin of defeat would be overwhelming. The people want Aregbesola once more, and by the Grace of God, it shall come to pass. I support the re-election of Ogbeni Aregbesola. |
Omisore may have got a sellable CV, But something we all should be well aware of is the fact Educational background don't count at the polls. .......... Popularity, antecedents, and pedigree are what electorates consider. All am personally interested in is a people oriented Governor. |
Sentiments apart, tribalism aside, this woman is a disgrace to the Nigerian nation. |
interested in it. reach me on whatsapp @ 07031690695 |
