Like I said earlier the Afghanistan's were in support of the Taliban's hence why they didn't even put up any form of resistance immediately U.S left, even if U.S troops spend 100years in Afghanistan the day they decide to leave the same thing would still have happened..
I hope you know their primary aim of going to Afghanistan was to hunt down Osama bin laden of which they achieved? So how did they lose?

And Taliban did not defeat the U.S..
U.S got tired and left, were you expecting Dem to stay in Afghanistan forever? Most Afghanistan's are sympathetic to the Taliban's so it was just a waste of time and funds, this is the same thing that will happen to Russia if they try to force in a president to rule Ukraine, Ukrainians are not interested in working with Russia so it just a waste of time..

china played a major role even more than Russia in the Vietnam war, Russia lost woefully in Afghanistan so I don't know why you are mentioning that, and also why are you mentioning Ukraine? Did U.S send troops to help Ukraine fight?

The united states have the best defense system in the world..

The united States have a good economy to sustain war, in a normal conventional war without nukes Russia doesn't have a strong enough economy to sustain a long war, or you think war is just about weapons? Lol

Unnecessary hype, there is nothing the Russians have as weapons that U.S doesn't have x2, the fact is they don't come out every now and then to brag about what weapons they have in their arsenal like Russia and china..

A country that spends over 600b$ every year on their military vs Russia that spends just 60b$..

Last week I bought diesel for ₦460 /litre, on Sunday, I bought it for ₦500/litre.. Only to get there yesterday and they told me it's ₦627/litre.

Mind you, 100 litres will only last for 8 hours.

Firstly, all of Ukraine will be united in their hatred of Russia and this grudge will stay for years to come. Ukraine will have even more resolve to get out of Russia's influence.

Secondly, wars are expensive to wage. A war requires a war chest and this war has made Russia lose military and financial assets.

The sanctions are crippling Russia's economy and if this war continues Russia could enter a recession.

The only country that wins is the United States that want a weakened Russia, either militarily or economically.

It's a double-pincer manoeuvre that puts Russia between a rock and a hard place.

This war is a battle of ideologies. It's a geo-political chess match between two Grandmasters in Russia and the United States.

And Ukraine is their chessboard.
