President Muhammadu Buhari has declined assent to the amended electoral bill.

Ita Enang, senior special assistant to the president on national assembly (senate), said the president has communicated his decision to the national assembly.

Although Enang avoided making a categorical statement on the bill, he said Buhari assented to the National University Commission Amendment Act.

In September, Buhari turned down the bill for the second time, asking the national assembly to revise some clauses.

The national assembly had passed the bill on July 24 and transmitted to the president on August 3.

Saraki is just shouting on this issue for nothing. If he and his colleagues had honest intentions, they would have gotten the Bill off the ground way before this time.

In any case, the African Charter states that any law that will be used to conduct an election should be in place not later than six months before the election is scheduled to take place.

That's only fair, because all the preps and rules towards the election would then derive from the law. In this case, most of the rules and preps and equipment provisions have been locked in based on the Law that was used for the 2015 elections, which elections and outcomes were adjudged fair by all sides.

So, why change the rules of a game in the middle of play? That should not be allowed in a proper democratic setting, and I belief that's the spirit behind that aspect of the African Charter on Elections I referred to earlier.

BTW, Mr. Falana (SAN) had supported this African Charter under reference, and had warned about the present lacuna, once it occurred to him the process for the conclusion of the new Bill would not be in place earlier than six months before February 12, 2019, or thereabout.

As things stand, the new Bill will have to wait to be used for elections that will be scheduled to hold not less than six months after it may have become Law.

They are angry that the burden of building civilizations and countries and cultures are clearly shouldered by men of all races since the beginning of earth, and in this area sadly they have failed immensely. Not only failed, but conquered by more evolved Alpha males. Women are not expected to do these things, so no one can pin Nigerian, black women down with this. Women are expected to be traditional; supportive and nurturing, which is a common trait among Nigerian women, black women. So you have it, Nigerian women are not conquered but are well in their roles. Could it be why they show less frustration and hopelessness? And these Nigerian men are mad about this.

The average Nigerian/black man is too primitive to rule. I would be the first to reject a world ruled by black men because that would be the most gory sight ever especially for black women. But thank God, it only stops in our imaginations. And even if stretched, that black men should rule for a day, white men or asian men would recover that power the next day. For are they smart! You see i'm giving them too much credit for something they don't even want! As shocking as it may sound to some loyal diehard Nigerian, black woman, black men don't want to rule. First they know they can't, second they don't fancy the idea, third they'd rather be small copies of white men. It is the third that you see everywhere. Every black man you see only wants to be a little white man, it doesn't matter what profession they are in, their hobbies, likes and dislikes, everything screams,''white in black skin or nothing else''. They have no unique laid out plan for their race. Everything the white man gets, they want it too.

The average Nigerian/ black man is racist and colorist against himself. You don't believe me? Have you seen black man's media lately. It is filled with women and recently men who have no resemblance to the original black people. Why is that? because black men have found himself to be ugly, so he feels honoured to find men and women who look nothing like him representing him. E.g Barack O. He wants his children more white looking than black looking, his women more white looking than black looking, even his leaders.
White men want white looking children to carry on their heritage. They want nothing but white in general. They see beauty in themselves and want they world filled with copies of them. They control the world media, by doing this they control sexual preference and how people would look like in the future. Future people would be more white looking!

I am a teenager but my eyes are wide opened to these realities on ground. I am more drawn to men who are in groups that have power not weaklings who want to bully women into submission since they have nothing much going for them. I would endeavour to hang around non nigerian/nonblack men to attract male companionship. And if i have to settle for a black man, i would go for the one that loves himself completely, for if he loves himself he would love and respect me.

The period of progression was definitely not since 1999. It was in the days of our fathers. Do you remember the groundnut pyramid; the cocoa as major export product period; the period that a pound was exchanged for a natural.

The cases you mentioned are allegations, he remains unconvicted. Once Buhari is out of office, we will start hearing and seeing allegations against him too.

I have never seen a corporation like NNPC across the world. They incorporated an entity that is controlled by government of the nation.

This has eroded it's corporate governance and created conflict of interest in the corporation's policy and decision making process.

Have you ever seen NNPC audited financial statement; it is supposed to be a public document at least, published on daily newspapers but I have never seen it. NNPC's transactions are often corrupted, secret and in the interest of selected few but the general public.

NNPC is the cash cow and slush fund provider of the federal government and some cronies involved in crude oil exchange for petroleum products deals etc

It is sick and counter productive to continue to run NNPC the way it is established by the act and managed by the government. It has so much room for pervertion and corruption. It is too big and cumbersome to run as an entity.

Unbundle it into several independent largely-privatised companies or corporations that must be PLC (listed on NSE) to allow general public own it's equity.

However, if I am Atiku, I will not let the cat out of the bag on NNPC till I get into office as the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. He just repeated the mistake of MKO Abiola on his statements about his intention to compel the compensation of Africa for slave trade.
