Oga, stop making excuses with economy and fall in oil prices. This FG ran this economy for close to 4 years and grounded the economy. The oil prices should not be a majot issue if the FG really diversified the economy. I thought the government is quick to flaunt agriculture as a major source of employment, income and revenue for the FG. What about the capacity of the steel and mines industry? Do you know how much of gold and other mineral resources are illegally explored in this country.

Why is the proposed budget of 2019 still majorly dependent on oil revenue? Have you done a check on all the revenue generated by FIRS in recent years? What about the Abacha loot refund recently remitted to FG from Switzerland? What about the funds confisticated by EFCC in effort against corruption, especially the funds without owners?

Stop giving lame excuses for the FG, the FG must show commitment to improve education significantly by fulfilling their part of the agreement. Otherwise, Nigeria will keep producing graduates like you.

I honestly like the decision of a concerned person willing to try the case of fraud and false declaration by PMB in the court of law.

He swore to an affidavit that his SSCE original result is with the military however, the military punctured the position and even recently debunked it again; that is tantamount to false declaration before the law and fraud.

Exactly. ASUU has become a very useless body and a thorn in the flesh of Nigerians. Wasting precious time of Nigerian students.

Imagine ASUU demanding N3trillion funding in 2009 for Universities alone (excluding primary and secondary schools, polytechnics, etc.), when the federal budget for the same year was N3trillion . So govt should abandon all sectors and salaries of workers to improve universities only.
They embark on long, needless strike actions and govt is coerced into making agreements just to end the strike, then they later accuse govt of not fulfilling near impossible agreements.

ASUU or whatever you call yourselves...Can Nigerian universities develop faster than the country? Should we abandon roads, rails, electricity, etc. for university funding alone so that ASUU members can die on bad roads?

The issue is majorly about an agreement with ASUU signed by the FG in 2011 and revalidated in 2017. The FG is still to implement the agreement and made no provision to implement it even in the 2019 budget.

I think the FG is more irresponsible than ASUU. Thr interest of ASUU is the improved standard of education in Nigeria. Yet the FG kept establishing new higher institutions without concrete plan for funding, improvement and standardization of existing ones.

I worked in an office sometime back and my colleague got angry with me in course of a general conversation on indecent dressing. She is plump, stout and chubby. When she was in primary school, she went to school dressed in body hugging, curves revealing and short skirt. The teacher disapproved and tongue lashed her and she felt dejected, traumatized and bad. She was complaining, while we were having that discussion, about her male teacher's orientation and assumed that he was sexualizing her as a kid, based on that event.

The mistake I made was to boldly tell her that it was expected that every lady should mind what they wear too and that parents should endeavour to have their kids dress appropriately. She became aggressive, confrontational and almost physical but for the intervention of other colleagues. Honestly, I was shocked.
