I just dey reply that babe wey talk say 'now Dems will throw everything behind Kamala'
Which play? Who be Kamala? Don't even compare Kamala to Hillary.

You are correct with the highlighted. No going back to Trump back in the WH.

I have found it silly how folks here talk out of emotion without much to facts. Almost everyone here wants to sound politically correct and woke with facts derived from emotion and intent to just blindly remove themselves from facts presented to them.

I'm saying the obvious fact (likewise you) that Trump is heading to the WH, and some blokes here are not smart enough to see it, but rather quick to imply that stating the obvious means one likes Trump and hates Biden et al.
I’m a realist like you and have also come to the same conclusion as highlighted above. Save yourself the stress of stressing on the obvious. Some debates are not worth the effort. November is not too far along we will see who is going to stop Trump from the WH. Unless another assassination attempt

The family is said to be Roma but the protests of the Roma community were largely peaceful allegedly until it was hijacked by others.
Rioters weren’t even worried about covering their faces while setting cars on fire. It must really be a deprived area with people with nothing to lose. They’ll mostly likely get better food and bed in prison than at home.

I didn't get this story before my comment. However I'm still surprised at the common resentment (and maybe blind unity) displayed by "neighbors?" against the police. If that family was black (UK citizen or not) I'm sure no other black family would attack the police that way. Eastern Europeans they are?
From the videos circulating via telegram I believe they are a mixture of south Asian communities. I observed the police were violently pulling 2 little children out of the property into their vehicle. I believe the police handling of the minors and other underlying community issue must have escalated the whole thing.

Traffic this morning was unreal. 40mins drive from Essex to London. Usually takes me an hour plus. Let’s play another final tonight

I’m always scared of visiting the states just because of this gun issue and black profiling. American politicians are built different

No need making noise about it then. The next would be assassin has already ordered his ar-15.
A ban on guns is 100% simple. The UK did it. New Zealand too.
No forget say America na the biggest military weapon dealer in the world. If them ban AR15 or any other assault weapon them go loose dominance in the weapons market globally. I hope someone does something about gun control though

Nah it'll be fine. It wasn't as bait as last time when it was the black players who were put up and lost the penalties.

Several black and mixed race players performed very well - Bellingham's overhead kick, Saka's equaliser, Watkins winning goal, Tony's winning penalty....(Hubby helped me with some of these names 😂)...better than Foden and Rice and others.

I think the flak might rest on Southgate and big question over whether he'll stay on. I like Southgate though, not his fault that Spain was the better team
Southgate is definitely going. He has done a good job though. Hopefully his successor outperforms him… England was out manoeuvred by the best team in the tournament.. Vamos Espana

I believe the police report said he was hit by flying glass. Assault rifles cause damage not just by percussion but also by cavitation. He wouldnt have anything resembling an ear if he had been hit.

I ask again "will he be supporting the ban on assault rifles?"
I don’t think any president would support that. Guns and Americans are 5&6… if it was that simple Obama would have done it. Biden is still the president he should have done it. …. Just the mention of banning assault raffle or even regulating/ restricting it purchase would make any aspirant lose election

One of the few writeups I read states that extremely boiling of beans doesn't remove sniper added. Shockingly, importation of beans from Nigeria to EU was banned from 2013 until 2023, not sure if this has been lifted though as the article I read didn't say so. Wify confirmed that there was a period of time she couldn't find beans to buy.
https://asknigeria.com/the-different-ways-to-preserve-beans/#:~:text=Freezing%20is%20a%20very%20good,it%20is%20still%20in%20place.

If pre-boiling the beans no fit remove chemicals and is not recommended. Then the only option left na to avoid beans oh. But can proper Naija man avoid beans or beans products ? But something must kee a man 🤣🤣🤣

I'm beginning to query how food items being imported from Nigeria are preserved. I bought a bag of red beans almost a month ago which I just opened now. No weevils and I can smell sniper. Is there any body like NAFDAC here? They really need to know about this as I don't trust our people.
Interesting observation. I’m not sure if there is any quality control as per the above mentioned foodstuffs. I usually boil for 20mins and drain the water then add fresh water and cook. God help us

The shooter at Trump's rally has just made it even more likely that Trump is going to be the next US president. And now AP is reporting that the shooter has been killed/ neutralised.

Smh...you don't defeat far right rhetoric with violence- you're just playing into their hands.
This is the sorry state of American politics. Since they can’t jail him why not shoot him 🤔
I’m glad he survived and can’t wait for him to win come November even though I don’t dig him.

This is the time to seek help. There is no shame in it. Even Joe is seeking naps now. don’t be shy man. Take some nap it would do you good. So you would stop thinking all black voters should think like you and all Christian voters should vote like you. A word should be enough for the wise, but it seems not in your case. Bye Joe

Lol, I remember when some colleagues were(some still) driving with their expired international license, was tempted and even bought a car after I have spent a year in UK and wanted to start driving with expired international driving license. Friends and colleagues said I’m not bold when I couldn’t drive the said car knowing the consequence and I’m one person that values peace of mind a lot. Sold the car, got 8 hours lessons from instructor cuz I had issues with roundabouts, pass my test months later and I drove to my shift that day even without physical license with great peace of mind and my certificate handy just in case. I was still advised to do insurance with bloody brokers, to pay 300 quid as broker fee then I’d be paying 30 quid month. That was when I told them folks that if I could go through the pain of passing test for me to drive legally, what makes u think I will go broker route? Paid £200 a month for first year with Admiral and now paying £98 with 1st central in my second year with no claim discount well protected. Admiral renewal was £138. In conclusion, do the right thing for peace of mind, when you get caught, the people advising you will blame your luck, they will not give you lift to work, your choice will deny your kids, family the comfort that comes with having a car and you will blame yourself in the end then you will call it “such little error”. It is not little error, you are a disaster waiting to happen to another person and you will pay for it.

Few weeks ago on a TV programs (police interceptor) Another Nigerian was caught with his expired international driving license. Police seized car and destroyed it. He was summoned to court. He was caught because he wasn’t driving with due care and attention and invalid insurance. So you did well not to fall into temptation.

Yes i expect all bible believing christian to think the same when it come to those two individuals grin🤦🏿, especially Trump, i did not expect any Christians to make excuses for him.

I do not expect all black people to think the same but i do expect them to draw a line when it comes to racism.

You claimed that you will vote for Trump because of his stand on abortion and my question to you is this... if you are pregnant and during one of your check-ups your doctor found out that your pregnancy is a high risk one and a result he suggested that you terminate the [/b]pregnancy so as to save your life, what will you do?
I also expect all virgins to be visited by the Holy Ghost.. 🤣🤣🤦🏿
How does what you saying even make sense ?
Your expectations are yours alone and not reality.
Just because other Christians don’t think or move like you doesn’t make them not good Christians. Besides who has the benchmark for being a bible believing Christian?…
On your “point” about drawing a line on racism”
. Are you suggesting people should vote based on racial stance ?. Please make it make sense.
Meanwhile let me continue smoking my Egbo while I ponder

It’s not surprising with the amount of controversy the party has experienced in the last few years. SNP started nosediving after Alex salmon’s tenure.

As usual you completely missed the point, there is a reason why i singled out Reform(Nigel Farage) and Trump(Republican) in my initial post.

If you can not connect the dots then don't bother and to your last point about race and religion... what planet are you living on?

Race and religion should not be included in political debate? Whatever you have been smoking i definitely need some of it.

When you make statements like “( why Christian’s would want to vote trump and why blacks poeple would want to vote trump and reform)” … it makes one think you either faking cluelessness or you actually clueless

I am in Clacton at the moment, and I am really concerned about the way Reform is conducting their campaign. They are the loudest, but they only seem to talk about immigration. To them, immigration is the sole reason for all the issues in the UK. 🙄🙄
There is nothing left for (Reform UK) to dwell on but the usual story (immigration). Hope he wins Clacton for a start if not na Yawa for the party.

I have decided to make this UK my home. I think it is/was the right decision. I have gotten opportunities that I could only have dreamt of, in my own country. Where Adanna refused to marry me. Not because I am an alien, not because I was Hausa or Yoruba. Not because I was a bad lover or not a good husband material.
Although I am/was Igbo. From Imo state. Adanna wasn’t allowed to marry me, because I am/was an Mbise man.

I believe the UK will experience ‘Change’ on Thursday.

I am however really afraid that the ‘Change’ being promised has not some, but ALL the hallmarks of the Buhari/Osinbajo APC Nigeria 2014/2015 Change.

As Nigerians in the UK, all we can do is wish for the best. But, I will implore all to manage our expectations, keep working hard and keep pressing on. But, eldorado is not going to come on Friday morning. Selah.

It is ridiculous to suggest that you need to have lived in a country inorder to care about its issues and seek to improve it.

I can think of dozens of campaigners who are doing exactly this.

Your time may be better spent doing this,I suggest, than making this rather frivolous point.
Absolutely
