I think Labour are being more deliberately vague than normal because they feel they don't need to spell anything out. The more they spell out the more the Tories can attack.

But it means that comparisons of manifestos, such as Greens vs Labour aren't very useful this election.

Like you say, the best way to judge this upcoming government is probably to compare it to the last New Labour government (which wasn't that bad). I'm irritated with Keir somewhat but I'll probably still vote Labour.

The most cost effective way is to buy a national express bus ticket (round trip) or cheap off peak train ticket and go pick up your box. If not you can use DPD, fedex or Parcel force however they’ll charge you 3/4 times the cost of a train/ bus ticket.

Like someone else has mentioned above. It won’t affect your chances of ILR. I increased mine from 5% to 15%?while I was still on visas and it was never a problem. Ask the person who said so to provide the source.

My apologies. Since she is family the only way around it is dialogue. If dialogue fails you can change the locks and put her stuff outside ( this might sound extreme but sometimes extreme measures sends clear message)… why would a sister want to put you in this situation. You can’t leave the house to her because you are legally responsible for whatever happens to the house until your tenancy agreement expires.

My take:
1. Two things can be wrong and two things can be right at the same time.
2. The reaction to an action, although opposite, is no always necessarily equal (forgive my rustiness of Newton’ s 3rd law of motion).
3. I wholeheartedly condemn the modus operandi of Israel (IDF)’s current ops in Gaza.
4. I wholeheartedly condemn Hamas’ heinous killings and attacks on October 7.
5. It is possible to hold 3 & 4 (above) as both are not right.
6. We (at least I) cannot condemn the IDF for the brutal response currently going on in Gaza, the the same me praise Hamas for the brutal killings of October 7. Both are wrong (again, my opinion).
7. Actions (including bravery) have consequences.
8. I think it is stupid & foolhardy for a student, on tier 4 visa to shout at the top of her voice on 8th October, praising Hamas for killing thousands of innocent souls. Conversely, I think it will be stupid for an Israeli school boy to ‘protest’ in Tehran in support of the IDF’s actions in Gaza. It will be stupid for that Israeli schoolboy to grant Press TV or even AlJazeera an interview, praising the IDF and saying what the IDF is doing amounts to heroics.
9. If only ReesheesuKnack & Wallg123 could agree to disagree that would be great for this conversation.
