LagosismyHome: Then use the university to get visa and then change to Cc after u enter...also work on your answers. All the best I can't remember if he is the one I said the above post to via Whatsapp but the person said he will go with the CC and try his luck immediately I rest my case. I tried to check my chat history for the person contact but I couldn't find it maybe because I didn't search well for it, but I will try again and see and ask if the person get the visa |

ngkessy: what do I do please. answer I gave I thought it was enough to demonstrate that I have a financial backup for my studies even they didn't even request for any of my documents. I read further about the denial under section 214b were I was found ineligible, I could hardly understand where my mistake was coming from, that's why I'm even more confused Is your brother American citizen? How did he get the citizenship matters a lot to VO when people claim that people like that are their sponsors because their belief is that the sponsor will surely teach the person same route. |

ngkessy: . here is the transcript of my previous interview. Consular: can I have ur passport? : Consular: are u married or single? : Me: single : Consular: have u traveled outside Nigeria before? [Me: yes Consulate: where? [Me: Cameroon : Consulate: okay, I see actually u were born in cameroon : Me: yes sir : Consulate: have you had any other degree? : Me: yes, I did midwifery, I'm a registered midwife : Consulate: so you have midwifery why do you want to do nursing? based on the recent evolution of our time there's an increasing healthcare development and also need for health care provision especially in developing countrie and in the smaller communities here, so I want to go and upgrade my professional knowledge in the field such that I will come and implement them back home : Consulate; so why did u choose to study in Langston? Me: I've made my research and findings and I discovered that Langston offers the program which I'm going to study and also because of their highly recognised academical system with good research, practical s and theory : Consulate: how are you going to pay your tuition fees? : Me:arrangements have been made for that by my family, I have a brother who will be sponsoring my education [Consulate: is your brother in America? Me: yes : Consulate: wat does he do? : Me: works in a company food authority as the shift supervisor : Consulate: did you apply in other universities? : Me: no That was all my interview and the visa was not given Lemme ask first, is this for all the interview or just the first interview ? |

MsNas: sureb0y,
I have a question tho. I'm curious as to how to get a Social Security Card without a job or a job offer. Really interested in that, cos no knowledge is lost. Thanks. Same on my mind but I guess the story is incomplete yet. |

nellyalph: Sorry about your delay. My few input is that these visa applications are usually by 'luck', although there is nothing like that in my dictionary.
You can reschedule and refire, you might meet another VO that has a different View on CC.
Secondly, you can wait for the next session, write Greand apply to a university(look out for funding to reduce your financial burden) and if you insist on CC, you should also consider your age. I guess you mean Toefl/Ielts or SAT for undergraduate |

xlyte: honestly, I was given admission at Oklahoma City University but due to fund and choice choosing one of the best school , I plan to start at a community college. and transfer to Cornell university, cos my CC has a transfer agreement and a good transfer rate to Cornell university... Leave story for EFCC and do the right thing to get your visa. Do you think those VO are gullible or maybe you will be the first in this kind of case or situation and trust me you wont be the last. |

xlyte: hello great NAiralanders ...Visa delayed Today I hardly see people that smile today at Abuja US Embassy, when I got there people were just talking about the rate of denied..but I haven't see reasons why I should be denied cos am legit and I answer with confidence, it's like I am the most youngest in today's 7:30am appointment and this really motivate me to speak with no negative reaction.. like 3 nonimmigrant were wondering why I was denied, after my i interview. it was today I learnt some Nigerian cannot speak English just to Express themselves. they need to call interpreter for them. here is how the interview goes : Vo:Why associate degree ? Me: actually I was given admission in Cornell university but....(she cut me) Vo:What is your plan after associate degree? Me: after my associate degree ,I plan to transfer to Cornell university to complete my bachelor's degree. Vo: did you have family in the USA Me: No,I don't Where will you be staying in the USA? I will be staying in the school hostel at Raiders hall Vi:Who is your sponsor ? Me :My dad What does he do ? Me:He is a successful business Man ,he has some couples of petrol station in the Ekiti state. When did you past out from secondary school ? Me: may2009 Vo: what have you been doing since then ? I went to federal polytechnic for my national Diploma in Nov 2012 and I pass out may 2015. She just brought out 214b and she said I can reapply. Everyone that went to the lady before me was denied, even an old man that i think Is going for visit was denied.. My advice to the VO is that not everyone can afford to pay for university . they should try and find a way to know a genuine student. Rather than delaying CC student visa, they shud know our currency presently has no value ,and some might prefer starting from a community college.. plz I'm planning to reschedule my appointment cos staying home is another delay but my school start date is 28th Aug ... Sorry about your delay? It is better you go and apply to university rather than CC? The reason why VO denied you is clear via your interview delay transcript. I cant remember if you are the one that we chatted via whatsapp after sending email.. |

fmsuhgar: Plsss house, how can I send my Toefl test score to a school? You can get it done yourself by logging into you ets-Toefl account and make the payment with your card linked with PayPal. |

tomisinobbm: You fill in four schools when you register for toefl, if you want to add more you have to pay almost 20 dollars per school. This can be done through the ETS portal yourself but I doubt if Nigerian cards would work. So just go to GIEVA but they would collect administrative charge sha Nigerian cards work better through PayPal and cheaper compared to Gieva charges and no need to use Gieva for this aside from SAT registration |

Olacombs23: Hi Good day. My cousin is about to go for her undergrad the states, and they waived english proficiency test for nigerian student. But someone told me that some V.O's deny visa for some that fail to submit an english proficiency test even when told the university waived it for them. Please how true is it, should she write it or she shouldnt bother?? thanks Its true that VO denied visa for those who doesn't write the test and it best known to the VO why denying them... VO are aware of most schools requirement and standard so do let your cousin do the right thing and the test will be helpful when seeking for funding or scholarship |

Though I still have USA in mind for PhD in. 2018. I want to say thanks for being helpful. Soulhighman. Congrats and enjoy your goodies in UK |
