jackikeys: tanks bro. Pls Wats should b a gud and perfect answer 4 d reason am going English as a 2nd language? Perfect answer is don't waste your money my brother on this English as a second language and apply for your dream course after writing ielts or toefl.Go and write toefl or ielts which is a requirement that will be used for you instead of doing English as a 2nd language for 5 months. It seems you don't understand and know what English as a second language means when student were asked to do it for 5 months? Is better you google to know the meaning and don't wast over $5000 in what you can use approximately $200 to do here in Nigeria. Wise up and trust me its as if you want to go and write and do toefl or ielts class in US for 5 months with over $5000, does that make sense to you at all But if you want to cry again, you can go ahead and reapply with it for visa interview.. |

As he said he works for his uncle, [mhe has done the course so its has to have website , done for free self ... That's the OT his agent gave him if I am not wrong He contradicted himself but he didn't know. |

You applied to CC and it's a pity the agent didn't help your dream at all and you were given English as second language to study. If I may ask didn't you pass the English subject when you are in JSS 1 to SS3 or English in your waec result I can't just imagine why CC will want you to do English classes first. If it's an agent that is helping you, kindly leave the agent and do it yourself then apply to a university and apply to your dream course, also make sure that you write either toefl or ielts so that it will help you and boost your chance and also speak for you in your next visa interview |

jackikeys: because i want 2 improve in my listening, reading, writing skill. Approximately $200 will help you to get this done within 3 to 5 months done rather than wasting over $5000 within 3-5 months as well.. Wise up and don't give up... If someone do background check on you, am sure the person will find out that you are intending immigrant and VO assumed that and that was why you are denied |

tomisinobm: Well, I had already paid them for a full package before I stumbled on this thread. They handled my SAT and Toefl tutorials, admission processing and even got me two scholarships. And visa assistance was in inclusive. That was way back before i stumbled on this thread. There's a lesson learnt sha. The big question now is how come you have visa receipt code that doesn't match? Do you pay for new visa fee or they paid for you and because you left them they purposely wicked you |

tomisinobm: so my interview was meant to be today Somehow somehow, at the point of screening the GTB transaction number didn't match the one on the confirmation and I wasnt allowed beyond the checkpoint at the waterfront. Apparently, I'm at fault, I didn't do the booking myself. Pending the time, the issue is resolved, does any one have an idea what could have gone wrong? And those car park touts were offering to forge a new receipt but damn, that was too risky. The implication might be for life or long term Before I comment, lemme ask you who paid the visa fee for you and which gtbank branch? I guess you want to talk about ds160 code before if your gtbank reference code doesn't match how come you are able to book visa interview appointment? I hope you didn't take old receipt to the interview ? |

LagosismyHome: BEGGARS ...is that what you call yourself. Thats fine if that how u see yourself and call yourself that
Students looking for financial aids are not beggers. All american get something in fin aid and also some get GA. Also international student and not only Nigerians get GA...in GA you help with research or teaching or something so working for the funding . Its not free money, ur service is needed
Alumni give back so that incoming students can have some aid, government and others give to schools too. How is that begging , more like how the system is run and structured
You are a begger that ok, but dont call others your name I can imagine him posting the bold because it's absurd and does not make sense.. |

worry359: Some people want to retain privacy. Some do not want their school bombarded with beggars.
There is enough information there for people to learn from. It is pathetic when people are condemned because the keep personal details private.
Tell us why you demand to know the name of the school? What are you going to do with that information? If I may ask why the bold post and who are the beggars? Because the same set of people usually end up begging and looking for who stay in that state where their school is located. |

worry359: So are you accusing the visa officer of changing the information? Or do you believe witches used magic to change it?
If you wrote the paper why can you not remember what was on it? That is a sign that un-truth was written there. What we don't understand is that applicant can fill just one or two points in ds160 and during visa interview they saying more than 5 to 10 points which they only filled one or two points, trying to hype and sweet talk to the VO's hear. Am sure that's what happened concerning his case |

Thanks for sharing your story . It is well with you . Nobody destiny is tied to one place or to america , its either you try again or focus on other stuff. No VO can close door to anyone destiny.
Its God who opens the door however it is when he feel its right . .... Stay well This remind of that wonderful message, which voice are you listening to or hearing |

LagosNIV: As mentioned, UPenn has a world renowned communications program. If you are telling the VO that you chose Murray State because it is top ranked, when it is not, then you are asking for trouble. This is especially the case if you can't say anything credible about programs that actually are top-ranked.
Take the time to think about why you selected that particular school out of all of the schools available to you... Exactly the truth! |

LagosismyHome: But he said he did .... i am interested to know if you Olenime really did or not I remembered him during his application but only God knows why the VO told him that, Maybe he over sweet talk to the VO's hear. i think i told him to post his transcript but didn't hear from him like before. |

Hycon: Breaking News!!! Glory be to GOD. Visa approved today after a denial few years ago. I was the second applicant the vo approved in my batch after refusing about 3 applicants.
Vo: good afternoon Me: replied
vo: why this school? Me: I'm interested in the student academics and career resources available at UM which integrate classroom experience with real world(*thanks to NL).
Vo cuts in... What course will you be studying?
Me: Information Science with concentration in computer information systems(vo nods head)
Vo: Why this course? Me: Well, because I want to have a career as an Information security specialist. a degree in this course will equip me with the expertise knowledge in data protection. I would be able to work in the telecoms industry upon my return to Nigeria.
vo: what have you been doing since you finished high school? Me: i have obtained my National diploma in Computer science after which I got a job offer(vo raise head) to work as a web developer for about 10months... Currently I work as an IT support in blah blah... Telecoms.
Vo:Who is paying for this? Me: My dad
Vo: what does he do? Me: Replied
Vo separated my passport and confirmation page from my I-20. I began to have that positive feeling. Vo types for like 1min Ok your visa has been approved. Make sure you have this(my I-20) on you while travelling.
Me: Alright, thank you.
Walked out like a robot.
Na God oh! Thanks to Walspring for my SEVIS fee payment. You rock! Lets give the thanks to God.. Congrats and enjoy your stay in Obamaland. Cheers!! |
