Please I need people's help here.I have filled a new ds-160 online,but unfortunately my appointment confirmation still carries the one I used for fall interview (which was a denial).

How do I make the change?

Go and submit your new ds160 form or if you have submitted it then login to your appointment page and email the embassy by clicking on the provide feedback option at the left corner and explain to them.

Make sure you have scan copy of your new ds160 and I20 etc because you will ask for some of the document.

That's a good deal and you should be given a tracking number..

The issue about USPS people here in Nigeria is that they will extort your receiver if the package is an item and not document

If it's WES, You go to waec office in yaba and they send it to WES but it will cost 20k or more if I am not wrong while you also pay WES as well and you check that on their website for their cost

FedEx/DHL/UPS are the best if you want to send it to Nigeria 3 to 5 working days but it cost over $100 if I am not wrong while USPS is also good 5 to 7 or 7 to 10 working days and you can see $45 or $65 or $75

Hey bro, instead of going to Obalende bus terminal why don't you go to berger brt terminal. From there take brt going to cms. When you reach cms take a bus straight to the bus stop, can't recall remember the name though but from cms bus stop you can tell the driver you're going to Walter carringhton US embassy, its not too far. When they drop you at the bus stop just cross the road then trek down you would see the gate and so many people around the gate

The brt will drop him or her after leventis which is the last bus stop and (s)he can take a bus going to VI or eko hotel and drop at check point bus stop and cross to the other side of the road and enter the car park and find his or her way into the embassy

But the disadvantage is that (s)he might get late for the interview because most brt operation commence by 6am

The only hope is to fill new ds160 and correct it then go back to your appointment page website and update it to the new ds160 that you filled

You just misled/mis-informed that guy up there. He has to submit his DS160 and get a confirmation page which he'll print. It's the NUMBER on the confirmation page he'll use in scheduling an appointment. Note that the confirmation number must be same as the one of your appointment otherwise you'll be turned back at the consulate.

The moment he starts filling the ds160 form after clicking start application, the confirmation code comes up and he can use that to book his appointment and no need to submit it before booking appointment.

Therefore he didn't misled the guy but to get early date for interview and to be on a safer side and not to create another ds160 confirmation code; it's always advisable not to submit incase applicants want to edit or add information because once applicant submit (s)he can't edit and the only remedy is to create another ds160 so that he can edit and add the information (s)he wants to include.

Not really and it not compulsory you submit before booking your appointment interview but make sure you submit your ds160 form at least 72 hours before going for your interview

This is actually my first attempt to reschedule.

The only way to solve it is when you forfeit the visa fee and pay for another one by clicking cancel or you just go ahead with the date that you picked before..

Well you must have cancelled once before you can get warning alert..

They have started. Just that they will want you to show your original intl passport, while Ecobank is fine with a photocopy of the information page of the intl passport. The guy that made the payment for me had a copy of my intl' passport. Whoever that wanna pay should first get a trusted person that can pay for him from the states, seme border should be the alternative option.

Please my school said I should be in school by Jan 12th and I received my i-20 on Friday. I just applied for my interviewed and was given Jan 12th. I was denied August when I wanted to go during the Fall semester. I intend applying for emergency request but it says it is limited only to applicants who have not been refused a visa within the last six months at either the U.S. Embassy in Abuja or the U.S. Consulate General in Lagos.
Please what do I do?

As at today first available date in Lagos embassy starts from December 7th while Abuja is January 12th.

Sorry about your denial but that reason is not cogent enough because you can't just choose a school because of a professor..

You can state a reason like the curriculum of the department or faculty and research currently going in the school department or faculty that align with your course and what you will gain or become after studying the course etc..

If you coming to Abuja as stream 2..
