I'd say this again, for y'all who picked Mode cos of word of mouf (cos when u argue with rap fanatics in d classroom or any fora, all u heard was Mode's punchlines were da illest) n so u picked him so u'd not be seen as one who isn't in too deep into rap: Mode ain't nothin but shit! his style's wack, using old beats like we was in the 80's, where d Bleep is dat gon get him? lets see, no where near da streets, no where near shows, n nothing but low chips. Okay, he got punchlines, but is he da best? fcukin no way homes! There's lil dudes with sick flows givin him a run for that which he claims to be his crown- Lyricism. And Bleep it, but i think MCs wanna claim to be lyricists or "conscious rappers" cos their shit don't sell n gain radio rotation like MC's who r d best of all worlds (rap, lyrics, punchlines, singin, u name it- like ELdee da don). Suddenly he pops out n takes a swipe at niggas who rap in pidgin, n calls rappers who do party jams (like Ruggedy baba), sellouts.

So logically, Kanye West is a sellout cos he's singin now? or Weezy F Baby is a sellout cos he's doing a rock album?! or Joe Camel sold out when he did Encore? Mode Ni**a, stop hatin, just cos he studied all da classics dont mean he's da best, flavours r different, n flavours make da game interesting n spicy. Hell, i could name 10 naija rappers better dan him, (punchlines or not)

Mode 9's contradiction is the bleeping dumbest rap song i've lissened to in recent times. That guy's so dumb, going about parading himself as a lyricist, lyri-fcukin-what?! n his beats r so antiquated, so un-modernised. He's gonna keep starving if he continues like that, i hate him n his songs, i mean, just cos he scored success with that Elbow room song dont make him a rapstar, he should go n take rap lessons from da others, or call ir a wrap!

What made a mockery of the awards are many but two stand out:

1. Wind am well winning best video, were they high This is a video that shouldn't have been nominated in the first place. This is not even the best video from his record label, so by what strech of the imagination does it end up been the best in Africa.

2. Nateo C winning best new act Over 9ice, hmmm How?

So what will u guys say 'bout my coz who went to an interview well suited up and for the first couple of minutes performed well n thrilled the panel, only to discover while taking his exit that the heels of his shoes just came off! . So the panel noticed it and seeing that he had screwed up a job he almost had in his grip, he begged them to give him the job so he could buy himself better shoes!
Of course he didn't get the job!
