I want to believe they are two different programs. The one you posted is powered by Google and for Android development . I also got the mail as i performed poor in the testing of which we have been invited to the slack team.
The other one which is the recent one we have been talking about is the front end Web Development program by Microsoft. That will be launched on Friday according to the mail I got.

I'm actually gonna pass on the Android custom program which some termed as the relegation zone. Waiting patiently for the launch of front end Web Development on Friday

That is how a lot of people have missed out of a lot of opportunities here on nairaland. There is this episode where a friend was got some appliances for sale at rock bottom price because he needed to clear out his goods asap, I advised him to come on nairaland since his price was extremely cool. Na so he register, put out his business, someone asked for the price of an appliance, claimed it was too expensive, something that was about 50% off and others started shouting too expensive. Na so a mod delete the poor guy post na, he told me it was a great waste of time.
