The older church universities are giving value for money.
Because I pay a tithe of 5k as a poor man (60k) a year ( and that's been generous, cos most poor people may pay 1k as to tithe or less) doesn't mean my 4 children are entitled to get free education( worth 600k) per year.
Who will continue to sponsor the maintainance of the buildings and most importantly running costs such as salaries ?
Is it also right that the parents of these children will give free services to the church universities?
How many of the parents are ready to resign as professors, civil servants etc to come and work for free in these universities?
What some of the churches should do and I think most do it anyway is to offer scholarships to the deserving children of the very poor indigene members. Not to members who are a bit comfortable.
A lot of people will still want to be chosen for the scholarships too whether their parents are middle class or upper class cos we all love freebies.

How is it about profits when none of them can even meet up with 50% of their required funding? For your information, no university in Nigeria, both private and public is making any profit. I had a brother at Joseph Ayo Babalola University (JABU) once and he said the school needed counterpart funding from the church to the tune of about 80 million naira every month to able to keep running. As a rest the school started owing salaries of staff for months. Tell me if that school is making any profit at all.

The JEWISH LAW might allow betrothed couples to have sex till they get married, but we Christians are not under such laws as explained by the above verse. We are not under Judaism. We are under the law of Christ. We are Christians. Imagine how useless ladies will become if they were still under the LAW. Once a man is tired of having sex with his betrothed lady, he will just dump her and move to get betrothed to another one. That means ladies will now be passed around pretty much like what we see today. But Jesus has freed us from such archaic ways by telling us to flee from sexual immorality. The Church doesn't practice betrothal. Neither has it ever preached sex between engaged couples. It only preaches sex in marriage and that those who are not married should flee sexual immorality which is clearly premarital sex, while married couples should flee from adultery.

Hebrew 13:14

4 Marriage should be honored by all, and the marriage bed kept pure, for God will judge the adulterer and all the sexually immoral.


1 Corinthians 6:18-20

Flee from sexual immorality. Every other sin a person commits is outside the body, but the sexually immoral person sins against his own body. Notice how the below verse advises marriage before one can have sex if he or she cannot exercise control.
