Nice car. what do you say to 2.9M? |
Guess my wife will go for this. we stay in warri anyway |
Obeledu:Obeledu, am not. I know a mechanic by wallis (ogunu) that has one. lots of mechanic have this. getting one for urself will be better. |
babeface, you got a mail |
Thanks to Arsenal 4. This is the reason you should order for a service manual or owners manual when you are getting your car if it doesn't come with one. Lot of things are in the manual like resetting of maintainance required Light. This will save you lots of money. Am in Warri and have service manual on CARINA E, BLUEBIRD, MAXIMA 1999 model-2002 model and alo CRV 2003 model. I am willing to release for warri guys to make photocopies if they are interested. |
Babeface, i don't understand this. My friend's car came fitted with A/C meaning the Engine capacity is ok for A/C. what of Kia Rio and Hyundai accent that have 1.4ltr Engine? what do you say to that? is it that the A/C in the one you saw is faulty or doesn't have at all and you intend to install. Though frequent use of A/C on small engine for long trip kills the engine faster (my Opinion as am not a Mechanical Engineer ). Give me your email address. I will post my number there. |
@poster, The paseo is a great car. A friend of mine has this car and still using it. but my concern is the price. if it is toks, it is dam cheap but as you have tested it and confirm ok. grab it fast Check the absorbers too. For part, you don't have prob. the parts are available. |
Elder J and larry show, Thank you very much for your suggestions. I must start to say you helped in cooling my mind first. Today being saturday, I called my mechanic to my house. Yes I refused to drive the car to his place. Before he came, I have already checked my transmission oil and found out it wasn't low or dirty. no specks or any black debris on it. and no water. When he arrived I carried out another diagonostics test in his presence and pointed out that it is an electrical problem and pointing to one of the solenoids or sensors. Men the gear box of this car 2003 Honda CRV has about 10 or more sensors attached to it. Maybe this is the reason people used to say Honda baby boy has gearbox problem and not really checking the fault could be like what I experinced stated below. He removed the filter and the first sensor we saw already has its wire choped off. apparently by the MONSTER rats in my compound. On reconnecting the wire and sockets back, the blinking light has disappeared. Jenju/Larryshow/bigfather, thank you very much. Elder J, expect business calls from me soon. We having started sensing peace here now. |
Big Father, Is your own off or blinking? |
Elder J and Larryshow, Thanks. I did the Diagonistic test and result is P0748 pressure control SOL A. check electrical. am trying to google this now. I actually disconnected the battry head overnight and the only thing solved is the correct odometer that came back. I posted something on this some weeks back. I mistakenly touched the reset button and kindoff rolled back the odometer to 8200 . now it is back to 078245. The correct reading. Elder J, I still dey o. na Nigerdelta milantacy struggle dey keep biz low. I will go for Gear oil replacement first. If problem persists after this, will you be able to get me the sensors from your end. I guess you know the car in question. |
NL, Pls does anybody have an answer to blinking D indicator light in 2003 honda CRV. I parked thecar and was not used for 2 days. Started it today and saw the light just blinking whether in park mode (P) or drive (D) mode or even in Nuetral(N) |
Nairalanders, I mistankely reset the odometer reading of my 2003 Honda CRV while trying to clear the maintenance required light after servicing. My odometer reading before this incident was 075068 now it reads 8002. Does anybody know how to change it back to status quo. I have tried turning the Knob but all it does is keep toggling between TRIP A and TRIP B. I hope my explanation is clear. |
Man, Go for the 2009 Cerato. It is a BOMB. it goes for 2.1m for the Manual transmission, wheel cover etc Trust me. Buy it then trade the wheel for new alloy wheels which won't cost you more than 40/50K. The fuel consumption is excellent and also spacious. |
It is a coool SUV to drive. I have the 2003 model and am enjoying it. |
each season of 24. |
Mcneal, Thanks Bro. I appreciate |
Elder J, Pls help a brothe to check this 1N4BU31D9VC264717 Thanks |
My Bro, You didn't consider my 2003 CRV? How madam and that intelligent daughter of yours? |
This is the real replacement of Carina E |
send the pix to wosha2@yahoo.com |
Midas, stop tempting me. I don't want to start thinking of drive hand conversion. |
Conversion of this car will be complex. This will also require changing of the entire console. I mean the divider between the two front seats where the gear sits. am I right? |
Wow. The Toyota Crown is sweet. Wish I could have this. My dad had the Good Old Crown way back in the 70s/early 80s rugged car. is this modelcar anywhere in Nigeria? |
Hi Ade, I need the facialpanel of toyota carina E. That is area that hosts the two central A/C vents, radio, up to the A/c control buttons. May be I will send the pix. I need to replace the one in car . I am yet to check ebay though but if you can get it, kindly let me know. i have sent u mail. |
Land is availale around Akobo area. very close to bashorun. Not too expensive. This is my plan too. to relocate to ibadan after some time. I am presently working in the Niger delta region. Though my eye is somewhere along Old ife road/new ife road. |
where is New World city in warri? Describe as some of us know warri small. |
Since you don't want to take the risk off flying down not knowing what you will meet, then engage someone you can trust to make the enquiries for you. Since you are from Delta state, try and make calls and see if anybody can connect you to the Ibru's. The owner of oceanic bank. They may be interested. I will suggest you employ a lawyer to act as ur agent, market this place to banks and see what comes out. |
Amen. |
@OLAADEGBU, U have a first timer to this fellowship. ME. Ride on Brothers . |
How about discussing with Banks. They may want to buy and keep so can be used when the town kicks off in full balst |
