I will say this a thousand times, true federalism isn't the panacea to the myriad of problems bedevilling our dear country, bureaucratic corruption is.

If power and resources are devolved to the states and we have what we colloquially call "true federalism", the scourge of corruption which has stymied the growth of our economy for eons would simply relocate her headquarters down to the states! If I were to suggest a way out of the quagmire, I'd say we totally "de-comercialise" our democratic processes and institutions.
