PoliticsRe: When Is 2016 Census Coming Up? by wascom2: 6:11pm On Mar 16, 2016
this is a good question from OP. unfortunately census is not going to be held this year but next year. Enumeration Area Demarcation as been going on since last year where National Population Commission (NPOPC) staff as been trained in that aspect. EAD is a prelude to Census without it census can't take place. the delay is certainly as a result of last year presidential election which distracted the nation policy maker and national planning pundits.

Tired of nigeria this Nigeria that, it only make the venom in me more intense. Everyday we most see in the dailies or hear in the media a saga of billions being looted by a compatriot, and we all sit down numbed, and ineptly because of the same cowardice disposition by our fathers which does nothing other than deteriorate the burning desire by our greedy, insatiable leader to loot and milk us dry the more. I want to set the record straight, if everyone is afraid to stand up for his/ her right, we should not be afraid to face the worst situation ever in history. More atrocities are yet to be committed with gross impunity by our leaders. My advocacy is for a better Nigeria, to be proud of my country and to defend her integrity. Arise Nigeria youth let's secure our future and that of the subsequent generation. National Youth Congress(NYC).

Nigeria leaders have bet our lifes and future in the game of poker and they are already losing. What happen to the billion of dollars that accrues from crude oil exploration in Nigeria? What happen to the internally generated revenue, with all these our leaders have failed in discharging their prime duty, they have failed in managing our resources for the development and betterment of our lifes and generation unborn. Nigerians are languishing in poverty yet we are smiling and embracing poverty when are leaders are smiling to the bank. Have asked myself for the umpteenth time that, is it not that our leaders are there to cater for our wellbeing, is'nt their prime objective. What have we done, where have we gotten it wrong that we are being robbed in the clear and open air and we feign ignorance to this. This is democracy we are running here. The people decide what is best for them but is our leaders that are dictating our destiny out of their own sheer greed and callousness. The best solution to end this once and for all and safeguard our future and the generation unborn is to round up and execute all these insatiable greedy obsolete leaders that have lost sympathy for the poor Nigerians and are preoccupied with siphoning our resources to enrich themselves and their children. Enough is enough is high time we started dictating our destiny ourselves and rescue ourselves from all these romanticize vampires. The bottom line is that they have no good intentions for Nigerians. We can'nt be getting poorer and hopeless by the day and our leaders are getting richer is a ridiculous paradox, and you start blaming God or your step mother for your conditions, nay God has been so merciful and benevolent to us we've been blessed with enormous resources that can catapult us to be the largest economy in the world, with all the resources abound Nigeria shore. All this old men and women" co- mistress" can'nt lead us anywhere but to doom. Sooner or later revolution is what is going to put an end to this. The gap between the rich and the poor is enormous that one day it will get to a point that the poor we have nothing left but to be devouring the rich. This is a wake up call for the aggrieved and downtrodden let's atleast rescue the generation of our children, let's be their hero before they milk us dry.

PoliticsRe: President Goodluck Jonathan Should Resign? by wascom2: 8:51am On Dec 30, 2011
GEJ insistence to hold on to power, which has hitherto brought us nothing but cost more damage to properties and increase casualties of uprising and terrorism would latter come to an halt sooner or latter. I presume GEJ will end up like gadafi.
PoliticsRe: We Will Kill All Muslims In Niger Delta-militant Group Warns by wascom2: 12:42pm On Dec 11, 2011
Nigeria is about to for apart no reservation about that. Let us all stop this cowardice threat, if ND want to be killing muslims that's fine, let northerners too start to kill all christians, and let the trend continue to degenerate. Before you know it, it will escalate to the point that muslims will start brutal attacks on christians and vice versa. I advise every every one to return back to there fathers land before they add to the death toll of another civil, religious and tribal war in nigeria.
EducationRe: ASUU To Begin Indefinite Nationwide Strike Today by wascom2: 8:45am On Dec 05, 2011
Great nigeria students!!! Great NANS!!! Instead of sitting down at home and folding our arms which is the choice of the FG and ASUU because they are both toying with our life and future. Why can't we express our own grievances through radicals means, let take to the street. We have a role to play in this state of affairs. We can't just sit back and watch this useless and old set of impediment lectures and leaders delay our destiny, while their own children are studying abroad. They have forgotten that an idle hand is the workshop of devil which will sprout other social vices and its associated delinquencies. With this current state of insecurity and instability in this country FG should not render the youth redundant. I think this will only pave the way for more excusable criminal indulgence to be commited. Both FG and ASUU are to be blamed how long will they continue to be dragging the issue of agreement or no agreement. It is quite alright that federal government on their part has failed to secure for nigerian a quality and affordable education. ASUU too will also share part of the blame, they are only being selfish and self-centered. even with the current emolument scale of federal employed lectures they are still getting more paid compared to their counterparts in other notable west african country. It is so saddened that no single professor or doctor in the academics has ever invented any outstanding or significant technology nor have they contributed to the progress of this country with the vast knowledge they claim to have imbibed in their realm of knowledge pursuant. ASUU are only going radical all because of their own selfish goal claiming to stabilize the ivory tower.FG Government has been a total failure in many aspect of their governance, policy failure which has been a driving force of the decaying economical and political state of this country, which also seems to be ubiquitous has been degeneration this country. Great NANS let just speak in one voice and defend our right, because I believe will too have a so say in this issue. FG and ASUU both share the onus.

PoliticsRe: PHOTONEWS: #HungerStrike Protest Against Subsidy Removal by wascom2: 8:53am On Nov 12, 2011
I foresee a political revolution looming in this country. We the nigeria youth we are tied of watching our leaders jeopardizing our future, nigeria is our country we have no other place to call home. This financial and economical sabotage most come to an halt. I know soon nigeria revolution we be the worst in the history of world revolution when it comes. I can't imagine the suffering and grief that subsidy removal will bring, even with this present state of our economy 83% of nigeria are still poor. Consequently the poor are getting poorer and the rich are getting richer.

Nigeria is a country where technology advancements have been a total fiasco.some country are considering shutting down their nuclear power plant and resort to saver and hazard free energy source we are considering making it our alternative energy source.a country where there are adequate resources for us to maintain H.E.P but yet we are still unable to met up with power generation and distribution. Have we ever considered the environmental consequences of this so called nuclear power, and can we maintain it for it not to lead to a massive disaster for us. shocked shocked shocked shocked shocked shocked sad sad sad sad sad sad sad sad
