Hmm! Uli, Agulu, Igbariam, Nnewi, Onitsha, Awka, places I have been to in just my 2 weeks of stay in Anambra. Why do people come to Nairaland to lie about developments in their state? This gorvernor is embarking on plenty END-TIME projects, construction of pedestrian bridges (onitsha-awka express), road constructions that are in their primary phase, & its 6 weeks to election.
Well! I am begging you people to vote on credibility not sentiment, pls vote someone that can make this state fit for someone to live, especially security-wise.
One more thing! Una dey always lie say electricity don nearly reach 24/7 for east (especially Anambra), I pity una.

taharqa: GEJ is right about now in Kogi to commission a 456MW Geregu II Power Plant which he built from scratch in about 3 years, part of 10 new Power Plants already built (a few almost completing) which wud provide a total of about 5000MW within d same period- this is apart d many Substations and thousands of kms of Transmission/Distributions Lines bn built across d nation; whilst, Fashola is commissioning very BIG Diesel Generators that wud light up only a few Govt offices and adjourning Street Lights!! And this even when d only reason Oga Fash is building these Big Generators- less than 10MW if am not mistaken- (which is a good thing by d way) is cos a certain GEJ has painstakingly undertaken the very complex job of Reforming/Liberalising d Power Market and implementing d Power Electricity Act (as acknowledged by Fashola here) as well as the fact that a large chunck of d money d LASG used in funding these mini power plants came from d CBN's #300bn Power/Aviation Fund set up by GEJ..... No operator or manufacturer will have exclusive access to the messaging platform when it comes to Android

It seems as though some communication lines may have gotten crossed today when Samsung Mobile Nigeria seemed to imply that it would have a three-month exclusivity on BlackBerry's upcoming launch of BBM on Android. After hearing from an official Samsung Twitter account indicating that this was the case and reaching out to the companies, we've heard back directly from BlackBerry with the following statement:

The tweet, though very exciting, is incorrect ... I want to clarify that no one will have an exclusive on offering BBM. We’ll be bringing the app to Android and iPhone users across the globe soon.

Now this doesn't give us any official confirmation for when exactly we can get our hands on BBM, but it does let us know that no particular operator or manufacturer will have it exclusively locked up.

I will deal with only what has impacted my life personally.
1. I can drive all around the major towns in Akwa Ibom without a single pot hole most of them dualized carriage way. Saving money that could have gone to mechanics n motor parts dealers.
2. I can drive comfortably from Eket to Port Harcourt on the near completed portion of East West road.
3. My neighbor earns an additional 20k every months by sweeping the street in the morning before going to her business. Money that would have gone to Swiss Bank.
4. I have not slept in the filling station even when the oil marketers are doing their strike .
5. I had 5 bales of clothing delivered to our project site in Lagos from Kaduna by train for 2k instead of 20k by bus
6. I feel nice and comfortable at the airport from Lagos to Uyo as all facilities are working.
7. I feel happy when the president is not using EFCC or threat to confuse governance at the state level.
8. The middle class is back and vibrant with great purchasing power....
9. More classroom blocks, health centres and water projects have been built in the past 3 years than in the past 15 years
