OGA we are done with change. I would rather take the Ghana story where they voted the then ruling party out and brought in an opposition party that cause so much hardship for Ghanaians but during the last election Ghanaians decided to give the then ruling party another chance and now things are better off in Ghana.

The JV terms which is a Production Sharing contract (PSC) has Chevron with the lion share of the development phase with the other working interests coming from statoil and Petrobras. Famfa were "carried" (Financially) in the arrangement.

The Venture was a huge success. Famfa was part of it so why should they not share in the success story?

How many indigenous Nigerian E and P companies are even operators? The NPDC(a subsidiary of NNPC) is Nigeria's(indigenous) largest E and P. But what is their production like?

National Assembly cannot change the constitution. They can only amend or create new laws (in other words, add). This has a limit as there are things they cannot do only by themselves.

To amend the constitution requires 2/3 majority in Senate, House of reps, all 36 Houses of assembly and all 774 local government councils. That is why no new LG of state can be created by the National assembly. That is why the independence of INEC cannot be tampered with, it is their right. It would have been better for NA to advise INEC rather than compel them.

Any law asking them to obey a certain decision is no law as it contravenes the constitutional independence granted to them.

The issue I stated is really what we need to be talking about. Jonathan was removed through this means and they are still using did same machinery. I expected political leader to demand for a fair level playing ground and hold inec accountable at every of instances or the south will also begin underage voting same as the North since I'm is in support of this.
