From the last I heard, the main culprit was on the run. The fool abandoned school, left everything behind and took off. The father still maintains he didn't sexually violate the little girl, but him and his wife covered up for their son. That is what most Nigerian families would do; covering up for their criminal relatives. The bandists, kidnappers, cultists, ritualists, fraudsters and armed robbers we have belong to a family, some are married, have siblings, relatives. etc...who know about their crimes but choose to remain silent. These same people are the ones shouting: "Justice for Ochanya", just to trend. That kid needs justice, but her case shouldn't be turned into clout chasing.

I don't see any reason why a lady should be celebrating her marriage as if it were one of life's achievement. It was clearly stated at the begining of time that marriage is for companionship, so it is only d..i..c..k heads that would mock a lady for getting married even at 60. If a 43 year old lady is too old for marriage, then tell your dads to dovorce your 60 year old moms because they are too old to stay married.

In saner climates, men don't discriminate against single mothers because being a single mom doesn't make one less of a human. But in Nigeria, all men do is condemn single moms, and still end up marrying a girl that did several abortions.

Why are you guys blaming ladies that bill guys? Your outburst should be directed at men who know that a lady is with them for the money, but they don't seem to mind because of their damaged self esteem. There are men who will starve their kids just to go satisfy a side chic. Between the man and the side chic, who is to be blamed?

But come to think of it, if women are always billing men, then why do we have so many broke boyfriends, and dead beat husbands scattered across the country? In a relationship, a man gives a woman money or gifts not because he is generous, but because he wants something. Do you expect the lady to give that thing for free? While men have misplaced priority, and clearly don't know what they want. One thing is sure, women are the smart ones and know exactly what they want.

I saw the video this morning on youtube. Multiple witnesses said the girls were busy eating and drinking anyhow they like. In their mind they don catch mugu but after they've racked up huge bill on the man's head, he paid and asked them to follow him home but instead they started laughing and walked out on him. ZERO REMORSE. Feeling used and scorned the man followed the greedy girls outside and shot them dead.
They will eat and drink what their father cannot afford just because they think the man is father christmas. It's a brutal lesson to those girls who think they're too smart and carry their hungry nature everywhere

Everything is not about inferiority complex. I hate my English name, but I am stuck with it. Do you think I have inferiority complex too? Someone can be ashamed of their identity if it is dented with a bad reputation. For instance, would you be proud to expose your identity if you come from a family of criminals?

As an adult, you should know by now that there is something we call 'preference', and I believe we are all entitled to our preferences. Same way you may prefer ladies with fat or slim ass, light or dark skin, is the same way she prefers to speak English over Igbo. So, live and let live!

That lady dodged a missile. Something as insignificant as that is what you came to Nairaland to write a novel about. It shows you are very petty and your partner will have to walk on eggshells when stuck around you.

A very close relative also sexually abused his two daughters. I wanted to take up the matter but the wife wasn't helping matters so I had to back off. By the way, it is very easy to spot men who are sexually depraved, because the signs are always there. Instead of women to look out for such signs, they wait until the deed is done.

Yeah, you are right! Being someone's spouse brings so much respect, and that is why I am yet to see a married man who is unemployed because employers respect them so much and are always eager to give them a job. Infact, married people get all the contracts and business deals in Nigeria.

In the other video, she made it clear she was never married to Ned. The statement: "in my house, I am a queen, and in Ned's house, I am nobody" proves she never really accepted her status as a married woman. She was just on vacation in Ned's house and balling with his money.

Dating comes before marriage, so he might as well not date any girl whose parents are still alive. He has clearly not healed from the loss of both his parents and needs therapy. Nonetheless, I think it was an insensitive statement to make. While digressing a little, I think it is mostly in Nigeria that we death shame people and even rejoice when a family loses a loved one. My family was bereaved twice, and some people were very happy and even mocked my mom because they believed the deceased were the family's pillar.

Now back to the main discussion, a man once called off his marriage two weeks to the D-day after he stumbled on a written prayer request from his fiancee wishing for the mother-in-law to die. Their pastor had asked them to write the request for a special prayer session. The man was devastated because according to him, his mother was too nice to his fiancee, and was even the one that encouraged him to propose marriage to her.

I'm trying hard to understand the story. A man cheats, the woman leaves, but some dimwits heap all the blame on her, whilst applauding the husband. Before antiretroviral drugs became popular, I knew up to 5 women who died from AIDS after their spouses infected them. Honestly, the comments would have been okay if they were coming from archaic men that lived in the last century. I find it disturbing that it is contemporary men in their 20s..30s..and 40s that are making such senseless comments and encouraging what is clearly not right. Cooking with firewood gives foods a distinctive taste. The whites also make use of wood to cook for taste but the difference is they don't use anyhow wood. Different woods give different flavors (e.g. Oak, Apple) . They pay attention to these little details while over here we don't

I am pretty sure it doesn't blacken their pots, and they don't go through the stress of breaking the firewood with axe.

Did you also cook the yoghurt? On a serious note, why would I leave the comfort of my kitchen and go through the stress of cooking with firewood?
