With start up visa you can stay in the UK for 2years ,it is not extendable and will not lead to settlement. You can switch to innovative visa which is for 3years, extendable and can lead to settlement.

Bakery as a business should be out of any business list in Nigeria for now if you love yourself. I know up to 7 Bakery that recently deliberately closed shop for an obvious reasons. Flour was 14k a bag early this year, it is now 24,500, diesel was 250 per liter now desil is 700 naira, gas, sugar and many other bread ingredients has geometrically gone up. There is no half profit in bread this days. Except you want to cut corners.

Good evening everyone. Please I need clarification on this issue: I understand that one need job offer and sponsorship to get tier 2 visa. My question is, can one also get the tier 2 visa if one open a good business in the UK. My plan is to open or buy business franchise that my wife will be running as the dependent while I face my studies. I don't want to hunt for job. By God's grace, I have the capacity to buy good business franchise but I want to be sure that it can lead to permanent stay in the UK using studies visa. I need it for my kids. So, I am looking at the possibility of my wife who is the dependant using the business to apply for tier2.
