in reality and from experience, 'a lady' cannot ask her ex for financial assistance without taking it 2 d next level (infidelity).

But a guy can ask/get financial  assistance from his ex  without taking it 2 far (if d lady is not after extra-marital affair).

For d other person 2 be an 'Ex', it means there is a breakup/heartbreak happening somewhere. So it takes a stong affection/feelings for u 2 start dealing wit ur ex, lets not deceived ourselves.

people in their right sense of mind dont neccessarily marry for the looks, but for compatibility and mutual understanding. besides, beauty is in the eyes of the beholder
