Family / How Are Married Men With Children Surviving In This Country? Costs Too High! by WebSEOExpert(m): 5:20pm On Mar 03
Brothers and sisters, the struggle is real out there ooo!

Things are getting seriously harder every passing day!

Gosh!

How are families surviving in this country?

I mean married men with children?

Before, 30 to 40 thousand naira could manage for foodstuff for the whole month. Now, even 60 thousand naira no fit reach.

1 bag of rice is now 75K + in many places. And many people earn less than 75K per month!

Chai!

This kain thing tire person o!

I used to manage with things like garri, bread, yam, or even custard to hold body, but now even those things don cost!

Remember the days when 50 naira fit buy you a good amount of groundnuts?

Now, 50 naira groundnut be like small small stones. grin

Even to get onions in your suya these days na fight. cry

This situation no be small thing, and e dey affect everybody. We for dey support each other, share ideas on how to manage, and most importantly, no lose hope.

We go find a way through this together, by God's grace.

Jobs/Vacancies / How To Deal With Rejection Emails During Job Hunting - Strategy To Get More Jobs by WebSEOExpert(m): 10:13am On Jan 14
There was this phase in my life I drank rejection mails like Juice, lol, & I still get rejection mails too.😎

I just wanna tell you, “you can only get better and it ain’t avoidable.” The intense REJECTION MAILS’ Phase is another phase you’re definitely gonna face, in it , don’t cave in.

It’s just a phase you’re gonna scale if you get more intentional about being more proactive about the way you send in your applications.

You may need to change the way your CV is tailored for each roles as most firms have switched to using ATS Application systems to vet applications, hence always ensure you emphasize your skills more on your CV and make them be at the topmost area.

Again, as inconvenient as it may seem, always study and tailor your “Applications, Resumes and CV” to the particular job’s needs you’re applying to, Don’t use a general CV for all your applications.

Are you currently getting rejection emails in your job applications?

Share your experience with us and how you dealt with it!

I have a friend of mine, a Web developer who has been working for an Indian Company [Name withheld] as their lead developer earning more than half a million per month.

This guy stopped dating women after his last break up [which was very painful to him and almost shattered his life] and decided to focus on his career 100%.

It’s been 4 years.

We got talking last week and he told me that he has been working, saving and investing a large chunk of his salary.

Now, he has more than 15 million lying in his account idle and he’s looking for a good business to start and run it together with his career as a web developer.

The business must be something very lucrative and has the potential to replace his job in the future.

So, I decided to bring it up here because I’ve learned many things from this platform.

We need constructive advice please…..
