The first layer is the front glass... That part can be replaced, if that's the only part that of the screen that was affected.... and it is alot cheaper than replacing the entire screen.... Should cost around 12.. More or less

I also have a note III with screen issue. [] The screen cracked, and the first layer has fallen off almost completely. Can I replace the first layer alone? How much would this cost? How much does it cost to replace the entire screen. I'll appreciate swift responses

Please guys forget about job prospects, everyone gets a job here. The job is not so important because the money is meager 450euro for a month.not matter where you are you can go anywhere you want. Concentrate on the study. I want to see naira landers asking about the workload and how to cope. Ask questions like how do we cope and get good grades. Do you know if you are among the first five in your class you automatically qualify for a scholarship here in germany that you did not apply for? I want to learn German for job, I want to skip classes for job. These are not important. Follow the routine. Concentrate on the study. Even if you can't get a job, the government is there for you as long you are getting the grades. There are emergency funds for both local and foreign students . I do a mini job, guys here say you should learn German, very good. I will still say if you cannot afford it and your study is in english, come to Germany and learn free just like I did. Before you programme ends you will speak good German. For a job well, you might be lucky to get one like me, what is important is after school. The job is peanut. After school is the main thing and you need good grades for that. Please be wise guys. I do not know anyone who couldn't get a job and because of that got frustrates because of money. But I know allot of people doing another master because the first one was nothing to write about

Let us reason along with the reality of what is happening not what someone think or debate on, the senate are still going to seat and debate over this issue because it is a national issue....
Don't forget all of them in the house uses form A whether for their children's school fees or pay for their medical bills abroad.
All fingers crossed, nothing will happen to the student.

The purpose of my post wasn't to make you start feeling this way, to start losing hope. It was the opposite, for you to be prepared, stronger than before. So you don't go to the bank and feel disappointed when the finish line (for money hustle at least) was in sight. So don't ever have that mindset. Every disappointment should be taken as encouragement to hustle harder.

Thank God it has not been implemented, now you can put it in your prayers too. Because the shortage of fx is real. But the cbn might be over blowing the severity of the situation.

The Central Bank of Nigeria CBN just announced this morning that it will no longer provide foreign exchange for school fees and medical bills as a result of dwindling forex reserves.

What this means for us on this thread is that, when you want to fund your blocked account, pay uni-assist/university application fees or pay for accommodation from Nigeria, you can't go to the bank and request for a FORM A transaction at about N225 to the Euro. You have to open a domiciliary account, but euros from a Bureau de Change at about N335-340 to the euro, then transfer to the account in Germany.

Let's look at how this affects the living costs to be deposited in the blocked account, for example. 8040€

Before restrictions : 8040*230 =N1.85m(approx) + charges = N1.9m

After restrictions (NOW): 8040*340= N2.75(approx)
+charges = N2.8m

Please try and locate NPC office in your local govt secretariat or around your local govt. Explain to them that you need a birth certificate. It will be arranged for you at a price.

I got mine from NPC office at Ikeja. 10k ready under a week.

The LG birth certificate might be rejected or you asked to provide a declaration of age/affidavit deposed by your parent.

So if I have a state government or local government issued birth certificate, with declaration of age affidavit I'm covered?
Because declaration of age is looking easier and cheaper than this NPC wahala

Please Fellas, i need your help before i finally submit the form. As an Erasmus student who is going to study in three or Four schengen countries(Belgium, France, Germany) in no particular order, Maximum of 6months in each of them.

1. When applying for the student visa, on the issue of the blocked account, will i need to deposit the money for a year (€8000) or just half of it since i won't be using up to a year.

2. Considering that i'm spending more than the stipulated 3months in another schengen country, will i need to apply for visa before i can enter country B? If No, will i be able to study and work freely using country A visa

3. The program grants monthly scholarships of €200 euros for the first 12 months. When opening the blocked account, if i produce a letter from the school about the scholarship, will it be deducted from the amount i will need to open the blocked account.

4. The program fee is on the high side, more than €4000. Will that help during application.

5, If i make France my last port of entry, is there any chance i might get a chance to stay and work in France after the final 6months. This is because i speak French and understand a bit about French culture which means i'll integrate faster than in Germany

Just rephrase this post a little and forward it to the consulates of all 4 schengen countries. Thank me later
