I think it will be fair to let @tubabainc know that SOME people have been denied PR based on this professional degree issue as we recently saw from @BelovedQuerida. Her application has been reopened after the appealed though and we wish her a favourable outcome. Please @LegalITC let everyone know that WES does not evaluate a law degree as a professional degree and submitting a PR application with WES ECA of a law degree while selecting professional degree can turnout in denial of PR, as was earlier advised. LegalTC: Hi,You only need to evaluate your Bachelor of law degree.it will give you equal points of a professional degree while the other combination will be evaluated as 2 degrees thereby giving you a lower score. |

Lol. Get a master's degree and evaluate, max out ielts, max out TEF, evaluate your wife's master's, she maxes out ielts, all before you turn 42, then you have a chance if crs scores remain relatively constant. lol again There are many other immigration paths though. PNP is the most likely of them ucham: Hello house I am a 39 year old man with a family of 5 including myself. I have a Bachelors degree, no Masters or PhD. I also do not speak French. I have a thriving business and sufficient work experience.
With this information, I saw that my chances for express entry to Canada are very slim. Except if there's a way, I'm open to suggestions.
I want to know my chances of getting PR through doing a masters program for myself and my family. My wife has a Masters degree by the way.
Please your responses are eagerly anticipated and highly valued. Thanks. |

Uchboggy: Gurus in the house please is it possible that someone’s ielts results (MOD) to be mixed up or exchanged with another person’s.
I’m asking because a friend of mine that scored very high in her first mod ielts (except reading) , retook the test because of the reading , practiced so hard for the whole test, was very very confident after the test that she aced the whole test this time. But when the test results came out yesterday she go 6.5 6 6.5 7 LRWS
Personally I could vouch for her listening because I saw her practices and she would have told me if she was in any doubt of her performance after the test. I personally don’t believe it’s her results whether it is possible or not
Anyone please share your experiences since she is confident, she should request for remark for all modules |

They will give you like 600 point to uplift you. Every body want to do Express Entry only I know 5 people on this thread that got their ITA in a space of 3weeks of entering the pool. I believe Polygygy should be permissible but under stricter conditions than monogamous marriage contracts. This led me to google it. Read the wiki about polygamy in North America here In your particular situation, you might need to consult an immigration lawyer if you want to emigrate with both your wives and your children. One wife claiming to be single will be a misrepresentation to IRCC. As a layman (only lawyers are learned, y'know ) options include 1. 'legally' divorcing the wife with the highest CRS score and ceding custody of her children to her. Then applying as a family with the other wife while she applies as divorced. 2. Staying in Nigeria! instead of getting yourself into potential legal trouble in a foreign country and breaking your children's loving home(s) |

AmaSophy: Hello, I am a newbie to this Canada Express entry. Having used the point calculator, I arrived at 418.
CRA seems to be on the rise and I know 418 just might be low so I need to know how best to augment my point. Here is my profile for your advice
Age: 31 Qualification: Bachelors Experience: 8 years in administrative full time job IELTS: yet to write but I aim for 8,7,7,7 No masters degree and no sibling in Canada.
Is this going to be feasible for me? I need help please You need to be strategic. Get your ECA and IELTS (study to max out at L 8.5 R 8 S 7.5 W 7.5 ) to enter the pool. With max IELTS you will have additional 12 points, that is 430. In the meantime, do the following simultaneously 1. Try to explore PNP possibilities for your NOC. (600 points = ITA, what are the odds tho) 2. Research BCS and CIMA to get additional certificate. (+ 33 points = 463, not enough alone for now) 3. Learn french and pass TEF up to CLB 7, high B2 . (+ 42 points = 472 points) enough? who knows the future Combine these to get your goal. it will take dedication, hard work, luck and 101% effort. |

Referring to strangers, colleagues, friends and acquaintances with terms of endearment meant for intimate partners only in English language like 'dear' is wrong socially. It is unprofessional in a formal setting and it is rude in an informal setting. We have started to normalise these kind of weird things in our home country but as we seek to relocate, we should unlearn these habits that could earn you sexual harassment accusations in Canada. Please NOTE: The 'dear' in 'Dear sir/sister' used at the beginning of a letter is different from the 'dear' in 'my dear'. Google this for more context. I apologise if I've not worded the post properly, please forgive me and try to digest the message.

Little analysis and practice for IELTS writing
There has been 25 express entry draws in 2019 inviting 85,400 potential immigrants (and their families) to apply for permanent residency through the Federal skilled trades-FST and federal skilled worker programs-FSW (how does canadian experience class work?).
FSW accounted for 84,400 invitations in 23 draws ranging from 3900 to 3200 invitations issued in roughly bi-monthly draws. Number of invitations started with 3900 in the first 2 draws then we got 10 draws of 3350 invitations followed by 6 draws of 3600 invitations before returning to 3900 for another two draws. The year ended with 2 draws of 3600 invitations before the last 2 draws of 3200 invitations.
The minimum CRS points for the FSW draws showed a topsy-turvy pattern all through the year. Starting at 449 it dipped to 438 over the next 2 draws before rising haphazardly to a high of 470 for the first half of the year in May. This was followed by gradual drop in minimum CRS points over the next 4 draws to 459, then it continued to rise again haphazardly to a all year high of 475 at the end of october. The remaining 4 draws for the year had minimim points hovering around 470 with the last draw having a 469 as the minimum CRS points to get an Invitation to Apply.
Two FST draws were held duringthe year, the first in May and the second in October with minimum CRS points of 332 and 357 respectively with 500 Invitations issued in each draw.
This year, the IRCC had a target of 81,400 immigrants, if a significant number of those invited to apply are succesful then they might exceed this number after taking their families into account. If this is the case, in the coming year we should not be expecting higher number of invitations or draws as the IRCC has set a target of 85,800 immigrants. There will be more Canadian university graduates, more higher degree holders, better IELTS scores, and more siblings in Canada. It goes without saying that we should make hay while the aun shines.
IELTS writing experts should mark please, even though I didn't intend it as an IELTS task.

For the latter option, delete your documents after you must have acquired same, to protect your privacy. Don't bother about the watermark at the bottom of the documents. Lagoscooldude: Hello beautiful people,
Happy holidays. Myself and my wife are planning to commence or Canada immigration come 2020 and I would like to know what our chances are like.
Me: 30 years (31st birthday in June 2020), 5 years work experience. M.sc
My wife: 28 (29th birthday in may 2020) 3 years experience as a freelance researcher/writer, completing PhD by July 2020.
Other useful tips will be appreciated as well. Thanks She will have a higher CRS score by 10 points assuming same IELTS score for both of you as a result of her age. If you don't have ITA by the time she finishes her PhD, then that's extra 14 points for her, up to 498 assuming max IELTS for both of you. This will cost CAD100 if she has completed WES evaluation for her MSc by then! Do your research, gather your monies, and your documents and you might be in Canada by January 2021!!! |

achmed1: Trying to decide whether to go for clb 10 and gain 3 extra points to 469...or just wait it out till February ending before spending 75k I think you should strive to get TEF ready instead, if the 75k will hurt if you don't get that 3 points. French at b2 level is equal 42 CRS points, that is almost sure ITA. TEF B2 is Listening(249-279), Reading(207-232), Writing(310-348), Speaking(310-348 Now, I can't speak B2 french to save my life at the moment but if I were you I'd rather invest that 75k into a french course (online if you don't have time to attend a class, I don't know what options exist sha) than chasing 3 points, if I am cash strapped. Nevertheless, 3 points could be difference between ITA or no ITA and B2 french from scratch to TEF might take 6 months or more ( a guess), so think of that too in your peculiar situation. I would love to hear other opinions though. |

If I'm opportune to get transcript from different institution and want to send it to Wes altogether without sending them differently, will it be acceptable by Wes?. Thanks for your kind response in anticipation. On WES site (check FAQ or required documents for Nigeria, not sure) they specified you can send it to them directly if you have it but it must be STAMPED, SEALED AND SIGNED ACROSS THE BACKFLAP BY AUTHORISED PERSONNEL. They will still require verification... They even banned Indians from doing this because they still cheat despite being afforded this privilege. |

If it is based on country of residence, USA will be high, because many Indians and Chinese who get PR are schooling or working in the US.
