Bro i work under global funded TB
Project, the program is serious and i ve successfully managed 4patients on conventional regimen(8months injectables and 12months oral tabs. Now from 2018 the program changed to shorter regimen ,any newly detected case will undergo 12months treatment duration. Our people are stubborn and ignorant, some ppl when detected they run away, give fake address and phone numbers. Some will say is poison, spiritual and pastor will pray until the case will worsen. Drug resistant TB is dangerous and when DSTB is not properly managed it progresses to DR-TB. TB is curable, goto Government hospitals, LG TB unit missionary hospitals and get tested via Genexpert test. If you have coughed for more than two weeks, for HIV patients cough of any duration TB should be tested for. We are not paid much, we in the field but patients on DR-TB are paid monthly to buy food to feed well as poor ppl are mostly affected, drugs are very strong. Nigeria is not funding the program but only Global fund,GLRA and USAID. so they are canvassing for counterpart fund from nigeria govt.

You talk as if you are not educated, do you know the number of deaths recorded back then as a result of wrong genotype and blood group matching. You withnessed or heard the stories of twins killed in the past as a result of ignorance from our fore fathers. If you listened to ya grand parents, they might tell you stories of families that lost so many childrend to death. So the SS back then were lost while the AS survived and they attributes it as the will of their deity. Also still births where recorded then as a result of wrong blood group matching as Agglutination occurs without their knowlegde. Thank God for science and technology.

Seems you are with me in this. I think Education and too much exposure is doing more harm than good which is making a lot of ladies lose good men that comes their ways. In this girl case, what happens to those illiterate that impregnate themselves anyhow without doing any test. How many cases of SS have they recorded with the way people sleep around without checking their genotype status. Our forefathers didn't do all these funny test before they give birth to our healthy parents. I just have the believe that if AS vs AS couple have the mind or thought of given birth to SS, it will surely come to them. One needs to be positive in life.

The group was reportedly led by Senator Ifeanyi Godwin Araraume, Chief Osita Izunaso, Hon.Emeka Nwajiuba, Senator Benjamin Uwajumogu, Senator Hope Uzodinma, Sir Jude Ejiogu, chief Tony chukwu, Chief Felix Jaffac Idiga , Hon longers Anyanwu, Deputy Governor Prince Eze Madumere, Chief Marcon Nelmeigbo, Chief Nnamdi Anyaehie, Princess Akonundu, Hon Donatus Ozoemena.

The men listed above were former, staunch PDP stalwarts! Even Longers Anyanwu from Obowo! Was Rochas not a former PDP member too?

This should go a long way to buttress the kind of iddiottic politics we practice in Nigeria. Politics of hatred and no ideology whatsoever! Like Rochas, Like all of them. Its all about vested interests.

If you think these set of hooligans have the welfare of Imo at heart, then you are on a long thing! When any of them wins again, They will first of all placate themselves and their loyalists before they ever think of you reading this (If they ever do that!). There whole interests is in the Federal allocation coming to Imo state and nothing more! They are also interested in the money coming to Imo state as an oil producing state!

Honestly am not happy for Imo with the calibre of politicians they still produce. Anambra was like this before they said enough is enough. Mbadinuju made sure that Emeka offor, Uba Family and Authur Eze pocketed Anambra. But Since after Ngige (A wonderful Man), Anambra has been governed by technocrats. From Peter Obi to Obiano and then to Soludo.

But Imo is still presenting the likes of Ararume and Tony Chukwu. Tony chukwu that single handedly looted down NDDC and used it to build a church that Jonathan wife came to commission.

All same, Am very happy that Rochas Dynasty is about to die off forever! Gone into oblivion. Hopefully, he dies like a fowl soon. An imbbecile that created a whole new ministry of happiness just so that his blood sister can loot and covet money! Ndi ara!
