Are you from delta state? Call success parents to help you pearcy: Please my people, help a starving brother. I have been pleading for help since 2 days now. I'm a student who returned to school last week because of the prospects of exams starting on Monday and also because I was opportuned to enter a free ride. my family isn't bouyant enough and my dad has severe high BP that's why I had to find my way so as not to make him to start thinking about where to get money to give me. I haven't eaten a decent food since I got back and am starving.
I am soliciting for help from well meaning people who will be touched enough to hear my plight and have mercy. I am not asking for much, no matter how little, it will go a long way. God bless you all |

Career › Re: "Why I Resigned From N-Power": My Story and the Lessons (Photo) by wencesolo(m): 9:52am On Mar 13, 2019 |
But this is year 2019, you have collected 30k for 2years and you are tired of the Enhancement for those enrolled in 2016. UNIQUEISRAEL: Dear friends, take your time and read my story, I pray you find Grace to stand through!
Recently, I had to take a step that I was 100% sure was godly and morally correct but It looked so foolish to several people, but with God on my side and with the encouragement of sincere believers, I'm strengthened!
It goes thus:
Sometimes December, 2016, I got enrolled in a national scheme of the Federal Government of Nigeria called N-POWER, it's a current and working scheme that was set up by this present government to ameliorate or ease the high level of unemployment in the Nigeria.
Fortunately, I got an admission in December, 2018 to further my studies in the University of Benin, and as part of the pact or agreement between the Federal Government of Nigeria and the volunteers of N-POWER, it's required of us to work full time, that is; for no reason must we get into any endeavour that will clash with the normal working hour at our Place of Primary Assignment (PPA).
Prior to taking my decision, I did a lot of consultations, told a lot of friends, both the matured and the 'flexible' and of course I got mixed responses.
Some said "leave the job and go to school, you'll need the money, it's a national cake!" Some said "put someone to impersonate you and leave the job for school!" Some said "bribe to Head Mistress and go to schoo!, she will cover you up, in case supervisors show up"
The above were the responses from 'caring' colleagues, seniors and associates of which very few said I should do the right thing.
The right thing actually is to resign the Job and go for my education, considering the fact that the job needs my full attention and my education in the university will also need me full-time, it's therefore obviously impossible to meet the need coming from both angles simultaneously.
So I wrote a letter of resignation to that respect some weeks ago, upon which I got a confirmation from N-POWER website yesterday that I have been successfully resigned from the program!
Due to my preparation for school, I had to leave the town and stop working at my PPA since early February.
Some people called me later to inform me against their previous counsel that I had really taken the right step, some also told me that it was indeed a tough step to take considering the economic situation in the country but they prayed and encouraged me that God will see me through!
LESSONS
1. God's Will and moral standards shouldn't be compromised for earthly gains. 2. Act right, even if the whole world will tag you as a fool, God's on your side. 3. Be Wise and Courageous in taking right decisions. 4. God will reward all your sacrifices even when men's comments aren't encouraging. 5. Take the right steps, you may not know who is watching and will follow.
You must have learnt few lessons too about taking the right and uncommon steps, May God back you up as you take the steps to Stand for truth and righteousness. Amen!!! |

Dear fellow nairalanders, Greetings! I want to use this platform to give thanks to almighty God in heaven who made it possible for me. The sole purpose of creating this thread is to encourage each and everyone of us. Prepare your self before an opportunity comes. I am a graduate of microbiology from IMSU 2009-2013. I served in Anambra in 2015-2016 batch. At a point i lost hope in the course i studied when i discovered that Med lab is the real deal not microbiology. May God bless my elder bro who sent me back to Anambra to work with a friend he met during volunteering. 2017 i got to Nkpor Anambra as my boss linked me to stay with a family friend till i get money to rent my own room. Brothers and sisters that was my first hand experience of face me i face you yard. I take my bath at 3am before day breaks to avoid queue , dirts and receive little air from nature as the baths and pits produces a pungent choking smell during hot afternoon. I assumed the role of program officer as i was the 3rd graduate and only male. I did alot of both paid and unpaid volunteer jobs. My stipend decreased from 34k to 25k per month as projects closes out. I was hopeless and developing mental issues cos of my situations. On that faithful day of 20th june, i was on nairaland, and saw the job post on Volunteers nationwide by stresert services. I applied as a normal volunteer to build my CV. I already ve worked as Program officer on MDR-TB ,ACF-TB Gobal fund project, WASH, SIP, SOMIL projects etc. After applying from june 20th 2018 ,i only heard from the recruiters 30th august 2018 via mail. I was shortlisted the role of a Zonal Coordinator for south east. God helped me i passed the interviews conducted by the NGO HR and recruitment agency HR. I was made the South East Zonal coordinator of the foundation ,with five state reps reporting to me. The job i got suits my passion for public health, social works and palliative care. Today i work with The Rose of Sharon Foundation whose founder is Mrs Foloronsho Alakija. This foundation have provided help and succour to thousands of orphans and widows in our poorest communities. Scholarship awards to one child of a widow from primary to university same with orphans in our care. Never give up on your passion, you must be tested before your testimony. God bless The Rose of Sharon Foundation, God bless all nairalanders , God bless Stresert Recruitment Services and team. God bless my boss @VICLAF foundation Anambra.
