Well, I don't know who Wese90 is, and I don't think I have the time to engage the service of an Escrow simply because I want to render service to somebody. If you think the offer is too attractive to be true, you can look elsewhere.

I just found the thread and I thought I would bring the matter here for people that know better than myself.

I ordered a macbook pro 13" m1 512gb from swappa to @Atoje shipping address and the fedex tracking showed it was delivered but he said he didn't see it.

I was advised to go to the police by the swappa rep and seller but he said he couldn't because the package is not in his name.

Everytime I try to bring up the macbook he doesn't reply anymore.

And Now recently I order a starlink Ethernet adapter that is looking like the same story twice now

I paid $1100 for the macbook and $40 for starlink dongle.

I need help to get my devices or the money back.

Please do not claim to be a gadget seller and request my address when infact you’re a fraudster/Yahooboy.

Standard procedure for sending items to my address is to have a verifiable proof of payment.

1. You ordered boxes of starlink with my full name and address as the billing information. You even used my name to create an email.

2. You could not provide a proof of payment or receipt for any of the 3 shipments. You claimed starlink does not issue receipts, I said fine, send a screenshot of the debit alert you received on your card statement..you could not do that. Matter of fact you attested to the fact that it was paid for fraudulently.

3. Two of your other items came from a personal address of white dudes, you claimed they are your uncle.

4. Your last package was addressed to a Lady by the name Hannah James Natasha sent by one Jack Henderson and me as the C/O. Matter of fact, this had a signature requirement which meant I signed as the recipient.

5. Few days later, my apartment was contacted by the police on this regard looking for me on the claim that I had received a fraudulent package. Thank God I had the case filed.

In summation, I do not receive fraudulent or yahoo packages. Anything sent to my address must have a verifiable proof of payment.

Can you please provide us with the proof of the starlinks you returned, at least he will be able to show the people he bought it from …

I am writing to bring to your attention a troubling situation that I am currently facing.


7 StarLinks, 1 14 Pro Max, 1 13 Pro Max was shipped to MikelJems within March 4 - March 8. MikelJems requested Receipt of items which I understand was for security reasons. Who placed the order was new to Starlinks we had problems locating receipt at first and we had sent him order confirmation before finding the receipt and sending to him. In the receipt issued by Starlinks there’s no payment information on it. And he was claiming the items were fruad items so he decided to drop off at police station -March 11. And sent a Police Card Code. We went on and contacted the police and it was made known that the Case ID given to us was an old case of his which only one phone was dropped off by him. I’ve not heard from who was helping us investigate in the US. Only for today who I paid (The person who placed the order for the Starlinks) for the items. Sent me a photo of the Starlink page that the items was activated and is currently in use, Which I claimed it was dropped of at the police station.

On the 12th of January 2023(Thursday), I requested for an airpod 2, and @Adinije indicated she’s got it, i sent a dm and we got talking, she sent pictures and all, i asked her if it’s fully functional, she said yes.. I’m not in Lagos state to test the item and I don’t have a bad relationship with her so out of trust, i took her word, paid for item and sent rider to pickup, it was a straight delivery …Rider picked up from and delivered straight to client

Fast forward to night, client called saying that the airpods audio quality is bad and subpar and it sounds like an inferior, i insisted that it’s not inferior and he should be sure of what he’s saying, he insisted also, his complaints were, the audio quality was bad, too low, when it’s plugged in you can barely hear a thing, it’s not loud, that night I told him to try testing it with another phone.
He started to doubt himself, so he gave the airpods to his brother to test and his brother noticed the issue, and complained of same thing, the brother uses an airpod 2 i sold to them also, he compared it and it was miles off, I told him to charge it fully that night and if it still gives thesame issue he should get back to me in the morning, He did and he contacted me in the morning saying same thing, even cleaned the tips of the pods and charged it full, still same issue

I contacted @Adinije that morning to inform her of this development, She asked me if i shipped it directly to him, i said Yes…She now requested for the serial no and pictures of the airpod, I had to request it from the guy and i sent it to her

She got it and i had to ask how we can find a possible solution to this because the client is bitter and we needed to find a solution


She said she reached out to people that are knowledgeable in airpod and they told her nothing like that and as long as it’s working and it’s original, i tried to emphasize to her that it’s not about the authenticity, I’m not debating that, the case is about the quality of audio from the airpods and surely since we both were not opportuned to test the item, how can we be soo sure of 100% functionality of the item & be soo dismissive of the clients complaint

She said “the device isn’t faulty, therefore the client doesn’t have a case”

I tried to make her understand that an airpod can be original, Yes, and still develop issues, doesn’t take away it’s originality, and dismissing the client in this manner is quite bizzare to do, I went further to ask if she has a replacement as a possible solution

She insisted that the device isn’t faulty, and if it is, i might want to tell her what needs to be fixed and she would gladly do that.

She further stated that returning it is not even an option, Why?? that buyer can still play fast one, she suggested i table it before much more knowledgeable people in the groupchat or the thread to get their opinions on this issue so as to find a solution

Please i just humbly request the opinions of my Ogas and Madams on this issue, because it’s starting to linger & so we can find a solution and move forward, Thanks

I said yes and we reached an agreement concerning payment, we agreed to use escrow, I already made payment to wese90 and then the seller went MIA since morning until around 4pm when wese90 noticed he was online and just snubbing us all the while because he refused to credit my payoneer or say anything to either me or wese.
I started calling him on WhatsApp and he blocked me, I don't know what transpired for him to have acted that way but if I sent funds straight to him I would definitely have been scammed...so please let's all be very careful and do our background checks too.
I asked for his Nairaland handle earlier on before send ing payment and he said his handle is Piyke
