Custard is too processed hence not a good option. You can make the pap yourself and store in the freezer to allay your fears. There are varieties of cereals but just make sure to start with a single grain first to watch for allergies. So start with rice or maize or wheat before mixed grains.
Cerelac, Frisogold, nutrients, nutribom etc are all good brands. For mixed grain stages you can also do August secrets Jadens meals

My baby is almost 6 months. Please I need your inputs pap or custard. My concern with pap is method of preservation.
Plus I will need recommendations for a good quality cereal too.
