I met this girl in the beginning of 2021 and our bond of friendship has grown strong since then. I never had the intention of dating her to start with, but as times goes on I found myself catching feelings.

I really do want to let my feelings known but I'm scared of rejection. Besides, this girl is like an anti-relationship activist. Most of the times her posts on WhatsApp is mostly against love and how she's not ready to get into relationship.

Also, as a beautiful person she has lots of options which includes rich guys with lexus and Benz. Although I'm also not broke but I'm far below the level of her suitors. What I could say is my only advantage is that I'm handsome.

Should I just go ahead against all odds and let my feelings known or I should just let the feelings die?

Early 2021 till now is a long time, you are already in the friendzone, should u go ahead and confess Ur feelings, she'd turn you down and say you guys should remain friends. Besides you said it yourself, she's ANTI-RELATIONSHIP.

AVOIDANCE OF REJECTION

We live in an environment where 90% relationships happen by chance (not by intention), the remaining 10% happen because of mutual benefit or parasite mentality.
That so called love does not really play a role.

Sounds strange anytime I hear that a girl is in love.

In Nigeria, if you like a girl don't ask her out cos you gonna get rejected. Don't even tell her you like cos you'll end up in the friend zone or enemy zone as the case may be

Best decision you're about taking now. Channel all that energy into developing yourself and finding your feet. At the right time, the right woman will be attracted to you without putting so much of an effort...Often times, we relegate the most important things in life for trivialities, who even says one must have a girlfriend before finding a wife? Love don't cost a thing bro,all we have now is relationship based on interest and what we stand to gain esp in our geographical setting where dating has automatically become a means of livelihood for some.

Funny enough, remaining single for life seems just fine to me.

You are attracted to women, you desire to be with a good woman, you tried your hardest to get one... Obviously your technique was NOT GOOD... so go back to the drawing board and upgrade yourself in order to have a better technique of attack. The problem wasn't women, the problem was YOU

Being a coward and giving up is also the wrong thing to do... Instead of changing the goal post, you should change your technique of attack, and never LOSE THE AIM regardless of how many times you get turned down... Unless you wanna turn gay ( because that's the only other option away from women)

I have no doubt that as individuals we have shortcomings in certain areas of our lives and that is why we strive to learn and do better. However, as humans, we are not perfect and what happens when certain things are out of our control? At that point I pack up my bags and call it quits. Let's talk about relationships. It is no news that some relationships fail before they even begin while others grow as they are nurtured. It might interest you to know that I have never been in a relationship with a lady before despite several attempts. Actually got fed up with asking ladies out, got tired of the rejection so I quit... perhaps I was doing wrong but I did the best I could and tried to be better but it never worked out. I came to the obvious conclusion that relationships are not meant for everyone. Hence, I won't ask any lady out ever again. Looking for a woman to call my own is as they say, ' waiting for a ship at the airport''. I get to avoid the emotional torture so it's a win for me.

Greetings to HARDDON and others in the house. Still going through the thread. on page 89 actually. I must commend HARDDON and the few who have followed in his footsteps to enlighten us on how the web of women really works...I'm in my early twenties and have never been in a relationship before. My question to HARDDON is can you keep a relationship with a lady without getting physical or in more plain terms without sexual intimacy?
