You are not making sense. Ikwerre amd other Igbo speaking communities in Rivers state are members of Ohanaeze ndi Igbo. Membership of Ohanaeze is Based on community not individuals.The Adelekes in Osun state their Mother is Igbo but cant join Ohaneze Based on that.

Any Ikwerre man who belongs to Ohaneze whatever just check his background.

Let me help with some Igbo tradition. Anyone whose mother is an Igbo woman is seen as an Igbo son even if the woman isn't married to an Igbo person. Check these people you mentioned likely their mother was from igbo land.
Secondly in Ikwerre land we have the offsprings of Arochukwu people. Their offsprings have no problem with identifying that they are Igbos. Those you mentioned might likely fail into these categories.

All I know is that Jerusalem and its appurtenances belong to Israel.
The place Jesus met the Samaria woman may belong to others not necessarily Palestine but not Israel.

This has got nothing to do with historical tie. All these people speak various dialects of a parent language called Igbo, they practice a similar culture, and that is why they are called Igbo. There is no difference between them and any Ikwerre, except for denial. The Ikwerre will say "Omeneli", which is the seat of traditions and custom, while someone from Imo will say 'Omenala', Enugu will say 'Omenani' same as Ebonyi, while us in Anambra will say 'Omenana'. No matter how you say it, everyone will still know what you are talking about

Were you the one who told the Enugu man that he is Igbo? What about the Ebonyi man and Anambra? You don't tell a man who he is. If you go to these places you mentioned you will hear of interconnected histories of ties. But there is no one linking the ikwerres to the Igbos or the Igbos to the ikwerres. Agreed if the Anambra man says he is not Igbo because of no ties with Ebonyi let him be. You won't force him to be what he is not. The same way you can't force the ikwerres to be who they are not.

You were told lies by your forebears who hated Ikwerre particularly because of the Ikwerre people general stand that they have no historical ties with the Igbos. The Igbos see this as hatred and for that reason resent the ikwerres. Come to Ph and make an inquiry about what you alleged. Ikwerres had no hand in abandoned property. It was a federal government policy even headed by David Mark. Only those in the upper echelon of government benefitted from that. Disabuse your mind of your primordial hatred for the Ikwerres because of this.

Why is it so difficult to accept that Awolowo wanted to secure economic advantage for his people. It might not have worked as he anticipated due to the survival instinct and innate mercantile capabilities of Igbo people. Yes, from hindsight, it looks heartless but from ethnic competition and rivalry points of view, the policy was logical as a war tool to gain advantage.

It is the same with Ikwere people seizing properties of Igbo in Port Harcourt as abandoned property to get even while properties of Igbo in Lagos and Northern Nigeria remained untouched. Today, Ikwere estate fortunes in Port Harcourt remain inferior to those of Igbo.

Let me educate you a little. I know your hatred for Ikwerre people as exemplified and shown towards Wike is beyond imagination.
Ikwerre land had been occupied by Igbos before and during the war. Read Elechi Amadi's Sunset in Biafra. The issue of Abandoned Property was Federal Government policy and Ikwerre people never contributed or benefitted from it. Rather it was Ikwerre people who lost their lands originally occupied by the Igbos others and particularly to the Ijaws as they had the reach during this period of Abandoned Property Saga. The Igbos were going to Enugu the capital of eastern Nigeria then to receive letter of allocation of land belonging to Ikwerre people. They would just come and show you a paper that your ancestral land they covetted had been handed over to them.
They were in charge. They would go to the bank of eastern Nigeria to receive loan to develop the land. Some of these loans weren't paid before the war broke out. At the end of the war government set up an enquiry to investigate this. Those who were yet to pay back their loans government seized the property they were developing with it. This was how most properties were declared abandoned. Those who could show prove of loan repayment were given back their property. Ikwerres weren't in the driving seat of the state then so wouldn't have influenced this or benefitted from this in any way. The Ijaws were in charge then and benefitted more to the disadvantages of the Ikwerres. Stop hating the ikwerres because of this as they didn't benefit.
