I hear states used to have 2 slots in NCAT Zaria before.

What happened to that state-based sponsorship?

Whats my own state doing to empower the youth?

They can at least sponsor 5 cadets.

U are welcome Superboi

I'll find out more from my friend who got selected.

He had a
PPL from RAND flying school or so (in SA sha).

Things get much easier with at least a PPL (Fixed Wings or HPPL for the better, thats for interested RotorHeads)
Career / Re: Pilot Career by wham(m): 8:42am On Aug 14, 2008
I hear the Ilorin International College of Aviation have done their seletion.
For now I think they basically took guys with PPLs or CPLs already.

They needed cadets for them to train and build a team of Instructors for the new school. I hear their physical structures are coming up on the site.

They are to send some of the guys to a school in dubai to complete their training (They affiliated with the Flying school in Dubai).

depends on the User Area (Work Area) and the product.

WACOM products are like the best.

WACOM might be very hard to find in Nig and they are expensive (See Amazon)

I bought mine from buyright with a work area of 8x6" for about N12,500. It was a chinese product. Dont buy it if u see it on their site or in the shop (TAB08 Graphics Tablet see http://www.buyright.biz/categorylanding/c112). It has issues.

Try GENIUS product. Available in PC OUTLET, at the Palms, Lekki or their Adetokumbo Ademola branch, VI. Check their website

See websites for more on prices.

@IVY4U

mail me on whamatix@yahoo.com and I'll give U a prep guide for bristow. I did it last year

Nice one superboi!

There's a similar article on the dearth of Aviators on This Day, 28th Jully. It just makes it a more lucrative job but probably more demanding (flying hours)

@Superboi
I reached the final Stage. I didnt reapply. They haven't even sent those that made it through for training yet. Bristow is playing with pples time and efforts. Its easier to scale tru with at least a PPL (fixed wings, OR better still, HPPL). It was almost like they just wanted to see how far those without training would go in the process.

Sure, he was.

I believe we are getting somewhere in the quest for focus.

We'd like to have more people on board (Abuja).

Animators, Graphic Artists, Video Editing folks, Script writers, etc

Just drop a line here if you are interested.

About NCATs PPL course, the quoted price on their website is an old one. Its not been updated. Their price now is like 2.5M but you can pay in installments.

I was there three days back. That place really needs serious funding.
Career / Re: Pilot Career by wham(m): 8:29pm On Jul 25, 2008
We are with you on that frequency '77.

That will be a great alternative to the usual SA options to aspiring RotorHeads.

Just keep praying.

They use cutout animation but their's is very impressive work.

toonboom, Flipbook and Anime Studio are good for that.
