Nope! I'm not yet a pilot but I am very passionate about flying choppers for a coy like Aero in the Oil fields. I have done quite an amount of studies on my own and I plan to get my self a PPL or CPL probably from SA or NCAT Zaria. You have Operators like Bristow, Aero and Virgin that sponsor people for training especially when u already have a private or commercial License. What about you? @Mustay Thanks for that link. Enough info on the subject. |
There is a growing number of young Nigerians interested in a pilot career. Unfortunately, not every one has access to the necessary information that will equip him/her to know where to start from. This forum is inteded to be a meeting point for Pilots, aspiring Pilots and other aviation workers that will make a difference in the future of Aviation in nigeria. |
Iice You must be a fish Or You must be tall. Actually a pool has to be deep enuf 4 the swimmer to enjoy real swimming Try the one at Nicon Luxery. It offers a good range of dept and lenght. Its okay Always Tot u were a Lagos person before your posts on this thread. Cheers! |

@Abujabooks, Thats good. U'll get better at it if u just keep on practicing. Always swim in groups (go along with a couple of friends and keep an eye on urselves) |
@makapella Thats unfair @1st Poster 1] How do u even know they are true virgins in the 1st place? 2] Did u bring their case to nairaland out of irritation and to get them scorned? (since u said u need ur peace) 3] Even if they arent virgins, they are quite old. God dey sha |
The other day I saw a Fire Engine trying to make its way tru the traffic on Ikorodu road. It was blaring its siren. I dont know if it was actually going on an Emergency mission, BUT I could imagine the impossibility of the engine arriving the scence of a fire on time through such a sorry hold-up. Nigeria is not yet prepared to prevent disasters. Instead some dubious idiots (those who pray for disaster, knowing fully well that they would benefit) would even make money when its time for resettlements, renovations and relief supplies. The people need reorientation. Every house should have a fire extinguisher. Its not a waste. No one wishes for disaster but they happen (reality), and they start small sometimes. There are so many possible sources of fire in the house/office/shop. From the cooking stove, to the electrical fittings and appliances, to the Generator & Candle (Thanks to NEPA), God help us progress. Give our leaders vission. Install Leaders who have the Masses at heart |
Visaphone is located on Adetokumbo Ademola in Maitama. Its near Celel. My sis submitted her CV there last year and they collected it. Later in the year, she said they were no more accepting them. Give it a try bro. U can never tell. All the best man |
Thats lovely. I'm proud of u guys. I hope the Tutorials are worthwhile. How does one buy it in Abj? |
I got across to them. One of them said those that qualified would be sent IV leters for the next stage (around 17th March). U can call the phn no on ur 1st IV letter and tell the lady on the line to find out stuff for u from those that conducted the tests. I hope u impressed them at the 1st intvw? Prepare 4 the main one if u r called. Cheers! |
@cheffo Thanks man. I just need to know how long it took after the 1st aptitude test were u called 4 the computer stage? Also, I want to know if there was any other written tests at the final satge. thanks |
Phychometric Tests, Phychomotor tests (On the computer), learn to the names of the choppers they use (learn Aero's own too as well. Might just help). Learn to identify them by pictures, get ready to be asked abt urself (its part of the phychometrics). send me a text on 08057999508 (identify urself pls) |
U have a good start: Character Design Would have loved to work with u but u are quite far. I need a team. Keep it up |
Have u done the 1st interview? Mine was for the Pilot trainee. The 1st interview was on the nxt day after the test. It was casual, but the white guy was also analysing ur attitude in answering the questions. He asked some questions based on what I had on my CV. He'd definitely ask u questions on the engine of a heli, fuel, power, power transmision etc I'm waiting to do the Computer tests All the best man. |
Ok! the test was good. thank God |

Lovely Post Our environment is fast changing. Its no longer the calm and steady work environments our parents savored during their time (especially in the civil service). What we have now are companies that are trying hard to meet up with international standards and competition benchmarks in Nigeria's harsh business conditions. The strain of the company is passed through the employee hierarchy just like "transferred agression" in human behavior. Who is affected? Everyone is. From the Boss to his subordinates, and back to the business. The "family" who receives an exhausted an irrational parent at the close of work is also affected, and so is the development of the "Child". What can our generation do? If you have a good paying job, you should be gearing towards building up capital to becoming an entrepreneur. Or you should be building an investment portfolio that would work for you in later years. We Nigerians have to find a balance between family and career. We also should stop imbibing the "Spending, Spending" style of the Americans. Learn from Rich Dad, Poor Dad |
Drink plenty water daily Eat lots of fruits Watch what u eat |
