Building the remaining part of the land
|
@ KA24DETT, I have completed the 10 rooms hostel, 6 are self contain, the remaining 4 are single room with kitchen, but the bathroom are built outside, the selfcontain was given out for 60k, the single room went for 45k, though i later sink a borehole there as there is a acute water shortage around their, as for the total cost icould not keep accurate record, but i think around 3M is gone into the project excluding cost of land and borehole |

@op i have ran this hotspot wifi setup before made over N11 Million from my cafe and wifi hotspot in 3 years the wifi hotspot has just 18 regular clients paying btw 10k and 15k per month |
@ excelsiorfarm, I quite agree with some of the points you have raised though it can be very difficult except one is very disciplined ,it is possible but difficult. I started out in IT business some 7-8 years ago, from experience due to the fact that my parent are just an average nigerian ,the best they could offer is to send you to school after that you are on your own.Due to the fear of failure at month end after paying my Oversea ISp, i practically save every penny in my hand, and i was still responsible to 2 younger ones who just secure university education and also taking care of my DAd and Mum who are pensionaire. Based on the fact that i always have about 250k-300k every month after all expenses paid (7-8 years ago) I did some few business here and there and wasted more than 2-3Million in this failed business. I then realise along the line that with time competition will set in in the internet business and that 250k in get every month will not always be there, I change gear went into real estate .Bought a piece of land for about 3m in an up coming area and started the development, to day i have 8 flats that generate about 1.54M every year. Now am developing a student hostel of about 10 rooms in a polytechnic environment that will bring in additional 700k year. Now with the 3g mobile service from major telecom companies it has affected sales of internet cafes across board. Please note that now that i am married now with a Kid, with more responsibility saving is even more difficult. @ D sage is very correct , but with discipline it is very possible and better if you are single and you earn a decent income |
I bless God Almighty for his mercy over my life and that of my wife and the lovely beautiful angel the lord has bless my family with and for keeping us safe all through ages |
I actually dont know which section of nairaland i should put this |
We may finally have proof that there are aliens among us. Using a complicated system unknown to us humans, aliens appear to have managed to beam their image onto the spectacular Northern Lights sky. The photographer was shocked on his return home to see the image of the green faced alien in his pictures of the aurora Northern Lights. Landscape photographer Iurie Belegurschi captured the image by accident in the Reykjanes peninsula of Iceland. On a clear night on September 8, Belegurschi stayed up all night and waited to watch the aurora Northern Lights dance in the sky. He said: "I didn't see the alien face during shooting, but when I came home I checked my photographs on the computer and I saw it! It's unbelievable, I couldn't believe my eyes." "I can't describe with words what I feel when I see the Northern lights, but in my opinion it is the most amazing phenomenon we can witness. "I wish everybody could see it at least once in their life." But don't expect to see aliens if you do venture out to the remote area. Self-taught Iurie moved to Iceland in 2006 to follow his biggest passion, the Northern Lights. He is now waiting for the solar max in 2013-2014 to capture more aurora activity - with or without aliens. http://uk.news.yahoo.com/alien-aurora-northern-lights-iceland-photograph-iurie-belegurschi-20112012-143119241.html

What exactly happened to Dr. Olawunmi Thorpe, an Ogun State indigene, who died a homeless man, may never be known. To passersby and residents, who saw Thorpe everyday in the rubbish dump beside the rail line at Fagba Bus Stop in Ifako-Ijaiye Local Government Area of Lagos State, he was a deranged man. But what many people did not know was that Thorpe had a Bachelor and Master’s degrees in Mass Communication and a PhD in English Language. All these information came to light when PUNCH Metro got information that the “mad man” who spoke impeccable English had died about 5pm Wednesday last week. It took two ‘good Samaritans’, Mr. Larry Happiday and Mr. Dele Olawale, who had interest in Thorpe’s case before he died, to ensure that his body did not rot on the same rubbish dump he used as home. When our correspondent spoke to the two men on how they knew Thorpe and their efforts at helping him before he died, Happiday said he first met the deceased about a year ago. He said, “I began noticing him around Fagba about a year ago because I live around Fagba. One day in March, he approached me and I thought he was going to ask for money. But he did not. “He told me it was his 58th birthday and begged me to buy him a Bible and a book, ‘The Power of Positive Thinking’. http://www.punchng.com/news/how-phd-holder-lived-died-in-refuse-dump/
