@u@united4real, I was told I would have enjoyed the 16.47% if I had purchased at the time it went life and get the #823k annually but am buying from their other investors who are selling down.

@u@united4real, yes was told the coupon payment is every six month, but they an option which pays every quarter too but will loose part of the coupon rate if I go by that, so I opted for that because I use the coupon to offset some other investment I run, Also I was told the minimum holding period with them is 3 years,if am to avoid any penalties so I intend to hold till the end of the bond 2024.

Sukuk doesn't pay coupons (although called RENT) quarterly. It pays every 6 months or twice in a year. I really don't know what your brokers sold to you. Again, the interest doesn't add up from your principal and rate. Why will they tell you that the holding period for a bond which has 5 years left is 3 years. You need to ask questions.

I must say the investment was a good one going by the current trend of rates moving south and again, it's very hard to buy Sukuk as most holders do not like to sell.

I must not forget to remind that Only a savings bond pays quarterly.

Regarding fgn, bond investment, I invested 5M, in fgn, Sukuk
Bond through TRW, stock brokers I get quarterly payment of 170k, I did this when I suspect rate may be going down about 7 months ago

I think there is too much money chasing the treasury bill, I did 2.8m last two weeks with stanbic, I was debited only 1.04m, I read some comments here by some senior fellow that this is being ration by banks, i quickly ported to i-invest with the balance, that am ok with . Rates are seriously coming down,from the calculation am seeing, 364 is around 11%

Good evening fellow farmers, I just acquired 15 acres of farm land around Iseyin, started to plough. the land, about 7 acres, .
6 acres for cassava, 1 acre for late maize.
My dilemma is, this, I have read a lot about Tme. 419, but I have been to so many farms around here, what they plant mostly is called Ege. Dudu, and another called arubielu, (both local name)
most local here don't know Tme.419, my question is this, what is the local name for tme, 419,or is there any farmer around Iseyin who can help out

This Govt is really confused, I sold one of my best property to send my younger brother overseas for MSc last year before Jonathan administration left office,thank God I got government rate for his tuition fees , I was only able to pay for 10 months accommodation stay for him at 600 euro per month, now I have 8 more months to pay at a terrible rate of 368 to a euro as against 205 under president Jonathan.

i did this, they are long completed, and occupied by students.
