Please, Please lets mind the way we use abusive words here. If you dont have anything nice to say, then please keep it to yourself. We are all here to learn! Read the rules of nairaland before posting. Where is justwise sef? And to the Gurus in the house, its not compulsory to respond to anyone who keeps asking the same question over again without reading through thread. You guys have tried! Please take a break. |

Please gurus in the house...from most of the transcripts I have read here, people put how long they intend to stay in the US in "days". Please any explanation would be helpful. I am yet to attend my interview though and mine is in "weeks". I don't want to be denied this visa o...53k nor be beans abeg! |
LadyGuinivere:Lol. Ok thanks. I was thinking i had to call the embassy ![]() |
Hello everyone, Please my case is quite complex. I filled the DS-160 application form three times. but let me introduce myself. I am a full time Msc student in a private university in Nigeria. I travelled to the UK once in 2014 and now my aunty in the US has invited me to spend a few weeks vacation with her and her family. I have a letter of identification from my school and other supporting document ready for my interview in september. I made some mistakes in the first and second DS-160 Application form and didnt use them in scheduing an appointment. I finally used the third DS-160 application in scheduling an appointment. The third DS-160 application ID matches with my appointment confirmation ID. My question is, should i still call/mail the embassy explaining the situation to them or should i just forget it since the DS-160 application ID matches with the appointment confirmation ID? I would appreciate your response on this. Thanks. |

librangyps:Thanks. would just send cebglobal/SHL a mail to clarify. |
librangyps:hi please when you used this link to practice the deductive reasoning test, did you have to re-register using the link world bank sent? i used the my exact name i registered with world bank application to practice the test.. i haven't done the real test though |
subseaman:Dont really know. i got a link to the assessment though. |
dazzle101:did you get a regret mail? |

teefex:Burden of proof are all the documents needed for visa interview. It is also used at the POE to show the CBP or when sent to secondary inspection, showing them you are well prepared. For example Doctor's correspondence, Budget sheet Fit to fly, notification/change of intent letters to and from the embassy, statement of account etc to mention a few... or any other documents that you think would be necessary. @cinakin the above answer applys to you too. For MIHS, you have to call or email them to clarify that. The word 'port' means to change from one doctor or state to another. For port health someone mentioned something relating to that some pages back. I hope this helps |
@Dentale, Lool, na them sabi o, na d small contribution wey I fit do na I do so Hope baby is kicking well ![]() |
teefex:Please start speaking with a doctor right away to know their fees, hospital fees etc. Since your doing the dropbox I suggest u get a doctor's correspondence, budget sheet, and burden of proof ready for POE. check page 105 of part 1. Some people were deported back to naija because they were not fully prepared. Read POE stories too, this thread is all about speaking the truth. Read, read and read part 1 rigorously, to avoid stories that touch. Hmm. ![]() |
Jeniturnah:Aunty, no one will answer you oo. You just jump inside like that are you sure you are fully prepared? Heard of burden of proof and the others? Read tobermom's post tho, she used new york. |
teefex:Hi teefex, Minnesota is not a common place around here so I guess thats why no one is answering. Please answer the following questions Do u have a b1/b2 visa? Or are u going for a visa interview soon? Have you been speaking with a doctor? Do you have a doctor's correspondence? Whats your budget like? Have you heard of burden of proof and budget sheet? PS: I dont think the word 'cheap' go hand in hand in this american missionary journey you have to plan for unexpected contingencies.I suggest you get a jotter and a pen and start reading from part 1 if u haven't done that. You still have a lot of time. Before you get to page 200, you wud find a lot of information and you would learn a lot too. I guess u have family in minnesota thats why you picked that state. Since the ones you heard about are on the high side, you can port to anoda state. ![]() I hope this helps. |
Have u applied for the laboratory assistant at forte oil? U should check their website. |
Oya o e don reach time wey I go talk too. Have been following this thread from part 2 read most of part 1 nd took notes down. I am not married or pregnant but hope to be like you guys someday.. ![]() Just feel Another heated argument coming up. I dont tink ladyG meant any harm, it was only a suggestion she made. Na wa o@NezzyWozzy check page 105 of part 1 you would find the budget sheet and burden of proof How far this "@algfred" that his baby was sent to NICU in part 2? No feedback? Just hoping everything went well for him. ![]() Wey firstymum U still dey sleep? You have been keeping this thread alive since 1900BC Congratulations to all the new mums and dads in the house *enters silent mode* |
