You people are NOT ok at all. Ok let's use your logic of increase in bread price. According to the Picture Buhari left it at 70k right?
So how come it increased to N220? Who has been increasing it all this while?

Bottom line, bread is one particular commodity that has NEVER been stagnant for as long as I can remember in Nigeria.
I remember quite well that bread was N150 just about 5 years ago. Wait a minute, who was in power then when it increased to N220?

My dear u speak some sense, bt I doubt u understand the point which is: "buhari is synonymous to empty promises". I dnt know if it's due to lack of intelligence or jst plain deception, just remember 1 dollar to 1 naira promise, or a litre of fuel sold at 40 naira, or him being able to stabilise the price of crude oil in the international market.....u get my drift?

This govt might be doing things wrong, but the way it's been blown out of proportion gives neutrals like me a cause for worries... When criticism isn't constructive then it's just a calculated attempt to smear the person of buhari n his govt.. Take for example d Issue of Aisha buhari, Fayose accused her nd said if she's innocent she should travel to d US. Sahara reporters did their investigation and concluded tht the Aisha Buhari is an imposter of the wife of president Buhari, those blowing Tht issue out of proportion still refused to let go, now she has decided to travel to d US...same pips have turned around ND said she is going to use a diplomatic passport!?..... What's that!??..... Didn't they know she could use a diplomatic passport all along!?...... Bfre accusing her n asking her to prove her innocence by going to d US..... It is occurrences Tht mkes me feel pips r blowing things out of proportion.............

Of all the cases to support ur claim, it's the Aisha buhari case? I feel some Zombies lose it when this govt and buhari are questioned. Y cnt we ask questions and demand answers from our public office holders when it's our hard earned tax money that is being used by the govt? All we are asking for are answers to the concerning questions being raised......is dat too much to ask for?

People want to blow this thing out of proportion, buh d issue is dead on arrival... We're those assets declared in his assets declaration form, if they were, then what's d alarm for....people r just looking for every avenue to discredit this govt... From Amechi to fashola to tinubu to Aisha, now to burutai??.....We r our own problem in this country, pple just want evil to continue.....i dnt expect those who have stolen public money to just sit down n allow d corruption hammer slice them apart, it's expected Tht they would put up a fight.... Most of the wailers r d tools been used by these corrupt elements... Buhari ur doing a good job, set a precedence for all to follow, never again will it just b a free for all

ZOMBIE!!!! Please read ur comment again, does it address the question "how was he able to get and amass such wealth to afford 2 properties in dubai and a multimillionaire property close to abuja? It's jst a question that needs answers. Or u don't think public office holders owe the public answers to certain questions?

As I said, I'm really against homosexual activities, but the way sum of u speak makes others speak on their behalf even if they aren't in support of their actions. Y do we nigerians have a problem minding our business. I bet ur probably not against heterosexual anal sex but the fact is how is it ur business wot others do with themselves in d bedroom? If ur against those dat derive pleasure f**king women up the ass, then y isn't the same resentment shown to dem? Also, we leave d thieves, rapists and those dat pose a direct threat to society jst to show hatred to a bunch of pple whose actions don't affect our lives? Which abusive father? I am the one that gave that instance so don't make it seem like I don't watch movies. A lot of children has said it to their dads not because they got abused but because they got harshly corrected, were not allowed to have what they want or because their dad has been away from the family for a long time just because of their commitment to their jobs.

So I can't say I hate someone or people but you can wish me death by hanging?

See why I always thought some Nigerians are nothing but bandwagons who have no mind of their own. With this your post it's either you're gay or you are just a fellow with no mind trying to appear as civilised.

Who is gay? Steve Jobs that got married to about 3 women or Straight Charles Babbage?

Look, I detest homosexual activities, I hate that people I know are gay but I don't hate them. I hate people because I don't like them not because they are gay. And if someone hates people because they are gay, I respect that decision. We have all got the min of our own so whoever doesn't understand that can go to hell.

I detest homosexual activities, but jst shut ur mouth cos u sound really one dimensional. Ur comment was wrong and directed at a certain group of pple. One might not like a specific black man which is no one's business but saying u hate "black men" is a different thing entirely. And ur analogy with kids and their dad was jst a big embarrassment. U simply don't get it do u?
The two maritime universities is just enough for the country now because it ain't filled up yet and no complaints of congestion yet. Added to this is they both have the capacity to expand. Why go for another school when we are yet to fully maximise the one we have even now that there is scarcity of funds? Should that be our priority.
Amaechi knows this because it's in his ministry. Kachukwu doesn't know. He is ignorant.
Rest of ur post is plain Bunkum. Shove it into ur anus.

U have daft written all over u. If this University was redundant, then why did the FG see need to come up with the idea? U say the other maritime schools are not up to capacity, wot comprehensive survey have u carried out to arrive at dis conclusion? No one said it's a priority, it's jst one of d means of developing the region. Kachikwu doesn't know but yet, he's yielding results in the dialogue with those agitated. I see ur one of those keyboard warriors dat believe they are capable of running this country in the form of a feeble online alias. U lack the intellect to make a clear case for ur delusional reasoning. I hereby decline to respond to any prospective daft comments u make☺

Kachukwu is just deceiving gullible eediots telling them what they want to hear. Amaechi is on point.

U make it sound like 2 different maritime schools are sufficient for the entire country. As someone who's at d fore negotiating with the militants about their agitation, Kachikwu in the wisdom God has granted him was being diplomatic, something the current administration has failed to embrace but yet, has yielded a ceasefire for the time being. U say it hasn't been budgeted for but u forget d end of d year is fast approaching and plans can commence for it to b included in the nxt budget. EFCC can carry on their investigation but it doesn't mean plans shld be scrapped. Tompolo duped his community, yet u want these same victims along with the rest of d Niger Delta to be deprived of a platform dat can create thousands of jobs and benefits to the region. Clearly from ur delusional perspective, the priorities of the government are the selective fight against corruption, the continuous degradation of the Niger Delta region and the channelling of d proceeds away from the region. U need to snap out of dis narrow minded and myopic reasoning of urs.

TheGoodJoe:
I watched the Kachikwu vs Amaechi video going viral online and I see majority supporting Kachikwu's point. Continuing the project.

I disagree because the Fraud is too much. Hon. Amaechi proved in Rivers State that he can achieve befitting projects when he has the money.

Hon. Amaechi’s point:
"I am not against the University. I hope you people appreciate that. My argument about Okerenkoko is that the land alone is N13 billion. That N13 billion has built the university already so there is no need to spend more money. Let EFCC retrieve the money from them and then release them and we would build the University."

I do not understand what is wrong in this statement. The money is enough to purchase the land and build the University. The point is clear. Continuing with the project means supporting a monumental fraud.

Hon. Kachikwu's point:
“First let me say on Maritime University, I disagree with the minister of transport. Any facility that is placed in the south south, we should work towards developing it. I don’t care the circumstances under which we are placed… It is not my position to determine whether land was valued at N19 billion or N10 billion or N3 billion. The appropriate institutions which are the court systems will determine that."

I do not understand what people are applauding in this statement. Is Hon. Amaechi against the Maritime University? No. Amaechi clearly stated that when he retrieves the money, he will build the University.

Kachikwu said he is not in position to determine the valuation of the land. Please, this is ridiculous. We ars talking of the valuation of the project.

Amaechi is saying that the money is enough to buy the land and build the university. A minister should be able to value a project.

Amaechi was right and I wonder why people is celebrating Kachikwu's point. This is a case of stopping a fraud. Going on with the project is detrimental to the development of the project.

Below are pics of an Hon. Amaechi project which was close to the cost for just the land for this University project. Golf Estate Port-Harcourt.

So because of corruption, development of the Niger Delta should be stagnated? U myt b one of those pple in support of buhari ' s neglect of the nigerian economy and other areas jst to focus on the selective fight against corruption. Is it the majority of the Niger delta pple dat absconded with the 13 billion naira? Y make most of d region suffer cos of the dubiousness of few? U know d agitation coming from the Niger Delta and u still stand behind d lack of diplomacy shown my the dull minister of transport. I bet u'll also agree dat his "INCOMPLETE" monorail project in port harcourt was free of corruption despite the dire need for construction and upgrade of roads in Rivers State. I'm not in support of the Niger Delta Avengers, but they continue to garner support for letting the people know force is the only way to dialogue with the FG. May God continue to bless and augment the wisdom of Kachikwu. He is one of the few bright spots in this dim and gloomy administration.

No. He appointed ministers late I don't see how dat affected nigeria in any negative way, he's not d IG of police so u can't really blame him for d way d police is handling issues of security it cud happen in any administration, what else? My point is: he's not incapable, I'm not sayin he's tryin, but d lack of results isn't because of incompetence, things haven't just been working out, and only an imbeciile wud believe and hold on to campaign promises, grow up dear

He's not the IG of police? My memory must be abit hazy cos with ur logic, I guess Goodluck was d defence chief and head of EFCC when insurgency ravaged parts of the north, and corruption became an industry in his administration. Buhari isn't incapable, anybody who says he is is just displaying their hatred and anger for how thngs turned out, no government wnts to be known as d worst government of all time, but things are not helpin him, look at d many issues on ground, none of dis issues can be labeled as d fault of d administration 100%, wat can a man do?

6 months before appointing ministers, constant reminding that he misunderstood d gravity of things before coming into office, 98% campaign promises yet to be fulfilled, his newly introduced policies has further worsened d difficulty of things under his administration, d worst level of insecurity in d country for as long as I can remember, and much more. Governance is never meant to be a walk in the park, it's about leading with diplomacy and a sense of direction amidst the different challenges that myt intend to ridicule an administration. Has anyone realised how rare it's becoming for "NIGERIAN" women to envisage making it on their own? Most ladies believe their wealth is currently in the possession of one rich guy or the other that they are yet to meet. I think a change in mentality is urgently needed within our female youths. Even if ur hubby will most likely be the bread winner, doesn't mean the ladies shld look down on their own ability to achieve.....Remain Blessed ☺

Hahahahahahaha!!!! One of the outdoor units is covering a window. Hilarious. How is it even secured. They should invest in a multi split system.

With central a/c units, you cool/heat an entire house when you only need the room you're in conditioned.

Splits are more effecient because you can cool just the zone that you're in.

Please, dnt go speculating. There are fixed controls in each zone dat controls the inflow of air through the vents, and also the temperature too. Ensuring users have total control of which zones de want to cool or not. I think the major problem is in maintenance. Unlike splits, if there's an issue with the central unit, then all zones will b affected without any isolation.

Smh

Driving a convertible with the roof down is equal to driving around with your windows wound down. Very much discouraged whilst in Lagos traffic.

Theft-wise, newer car models are very difficult to 'hotwire' soft top or not (not entirely impossible though). You more or less have to have keys to be able to steal most vehicles nowadays. That is why most car jackers wait for the owners and steal vehicles directly from them because they steal the keys too!!! So even if your roof is down, is would be very difficult to steal unless they have the actual keys. They could ransack it though grin so it is always advisable to put your valuables in the boot of your car (convertible or not).

In a roll-over accident, the impact is usually on the tallest structures in the car and in convertibles, this is usually the people's head so very likely to cause serious or life threatening injuries.

Why would anyone own a convertible in Nigeria anyways...you'll be baked under the sun in the name of showing off. Your girlfriend (if you are a man) won't even want to sit in the veh with you with the roof down because all her bleaching will be ruined and there won't be any A/C for her. grin

But softtops make correct sense this scarcity period sha...can you imagine the kind of fuel you'll save from not having to switch on AC. Just be getting natural breeze! smiley cry

The best time to drive a soft top in Nigeria would be in the evening/night when weather don cooool but OYO is your case if you are driving around in dodgy and questionable neighbourhoods like Mushin or Oshodi or those bridges (3rd mainland's sister).

Come to think of it...anybody who owns a softtop should be able to afford to live in a nice secure estate eg: Northern Foreshore, VGC, that one in Maryland, etc etc ...so you can show off inside there. If you can't afford to live in such an estate then you have no business buying a soft top cheesy. Better go and manage one Toyota Corolla and enjoy your small A/C.
