I know someone experiencing something similar, but happens only when having a shower with water dat isn't really hot. Cold, warm and slightly hot water causes that itchy feeling for this particular person, the water has to be significantly hot. Another remedy is doing proper workout so to sweat, for some reason that helps stop the itchy feeling from arising.
