Mikel is the most decorated Nigerian football player. You don't need to like his style of play, but at his prime, he gave his best to club and country, with evidence of playing time and haul of trophies. You don't need to like him, just respect and appreciate him. |
Kaysalas:Don't know of any, I get them from a friend, but you can use Google |
I wish Nigerans can give this young vibrant people a chance |
shevon:Chai, I am not in Lagos ooooo. So you mean that it is fast and unlimited? Abeg tell them that there is a market in owerri |

Same old arsenal. If arsenal was the only football club, I would stick with cricket. Up blues. |
donestk:No, it isn't. I opened this tread to confirm my curiosity of owerri being no 1. I was down what surprised it wasn't. But after going through the comments, I reconfirm my opinions. I have lived their more 15 years. |
And Quora has something to look at: I find it so silly and irritating when I see fascination towards any youngster and their early achievements. Agreed what Tanmay Bakshi has accomplished at his age is commendable. And I am pretty sure 99% of us haven’t done anything even remotely close to what he has done. Great. Applause Applause. Respect. However, life is not limited to being a 15 year old kid. The realities of life that come along as you grow up are far more varied and challenging. Have you forgotten what happened to Macaulay Culkin, Edward Furlong & Lindsay Lohan? Fame, Money, Success early on in life can be a double edged sword for many. Now the young Tanmay Bakshi is young. Fine. As he grows up he will be introduced to girls, alcohol, sex, drugs, access to money, freedom and life. He will get introduced to emotional, physical, mental and political challenges of life. And most importantly - he will be introduced to new competition which may not necessarily be fair. So how would he handle all this - that is the bigger question. I for one am totally unimpressed with all this Rah-Rah that the general public gets into whenever they see anyone getting global recognition. Most of these ‘greats’ are one-hit-wonders and then they vanish into nothingness. I would be more keen and interested how exceptional and great this young lad does when he is in his 40’s. Would be become the next Bill Gates or would he end up being a Middle Aged man happily married to a woman with 3 kids - focusing on making life happen for him and his family - that is what to be seen. I do not wish anything bad for him - but to me Success is a Marathon of One Million Miles where Consistency, Committment & Character is tested over the period of time again and again and again. Success to me is not a short 100 meters sprint which finished in a few seconds and now you have a big shiny medal and now your name is Splashed all over the Internet. Remind me in 20 years what he is up to. Loy Machedo |

Selflessness The act of doing things that don't benefit you. |
Hmm After watching films like black hawk down, hacksaw ridge, lone soldiers, saving private Ryan and so much others, I developed an interest to serve in the military. The military should be all about selflessness, brotherhood, discipline, respect and courage US soldiers are highly respected and disciplined. But over here, it is a nightmare. We need an overhaul of the entire system. |
Nigeria. The same people. Different parties. We need people that are different and that would make a difference. |
I am a Nigerian, I felt down yesterday, I walked out of the viewing center in shame and sadness after the dying minute goal - I had been boasting to Messi fans who thought it wise to deny where they were born and bred in order to support Argentina instead. I think Rojo's handball was unintentional. I think some referees would have given it. I think it would be a harsh penalty. I love football, I stand with Fairplay. Some days are like that. I am still sad though. The insults are racist. I don't support it. Fairplay. |

Where did we miss it? What a joke! |
Hmmm |
It didn't start today, pray for Nigeria. These are our future doctors and engineers |
Nigeria is coming up |
To succeed in life would require a soldiers mentality |
We still have a long way to go as a nation. Anyway, I plan to study Computer science in Noun, if this same thing happens, I wouldn't bother, I seek education not school, knowledge not certification. |
If this man wins again, Nigeria is in trouble. I have my pvc, do you have yours? |
Nigeria needs to grow not in size, but in depth. Education not school should be our starting point. True learning and education. We don't have a system, neither an educational system , nor an education. I mean look at WASSCE |
Nice joke. From experience, the weac staffs are more corrupt than the students |
Bills Gates an outstanding personality not just in money, but human relations. My business role model. I love his business strategy more than any other billionaire. "The rich don't work for money, money works for them - Robert Kiyosaki" One day I am going to be millionaire. |
