Gurus in the house is there something we should know? How much do you earn per hour in Nigeria though

WhyNa: Hey sis,
Please I need help/advice.
Some months ago, the sun damaged my skin as in the attached picture. Then the Nivea argan oil and rose lotion I ordered online was probably fake cos it worsened the case and made my darker especially my face and neck. Like darker than the dark part in the picture.
I stopped using the cream and got St. Ives coconut and coffee scrub to exfoliate and then changed my body lotion to St. Ives oatmeal and sheabutter.
The challenge now is while my skin feels extra smooth and succulent after exfoliating, my face and neck is sadly still darker than the rest of my body. Now, my whole skin is even getting darker than my usual tone.
Please what face and neck cream would you recommend and perhaps a lightening cream to get back to my normal skin tone.
Thanks.
PS: please if any other person can contribute to this, I'd greatly appreciate. Thanks
I also noticed that after I exfoliate, my face looks lighter for like a day and then goes back to being very dark. I exfoliate twice a week Guys.... any help?? |

Yampotatocarrot: Please, I'm seeing 15k-20k, is that a mistake? Did you mean to write 150k-200k?
Sorry for asking, I'm just curious because I'm also looking for a cheap M.Sc destination 20k here is 1.2 million VND So if you are prudent and not too extravagant, you'd survive. Maybe when next I do my monthly shopping, I'll take a picture and show you all I got for what price. The highest I've spent on feeding in a month is 32k and that's when I buy lots of ejekukuje like Ice cream, pizza, Doritos or use both meat, fish and chicken to cook at once and the supplies lasted more than a month. I also buy things in bulk and sets of 2 so I'm guessing for someone else, it's going to be way cheaper The highest I've paid for electricity and water bill is 8k. For transportation, because I drive long distance a lot, I spend like 6k on fuel. Now that I'm in a new province that has free bus, that has reduced cos I try to make use of the bus more.. For students, since you are given accommodation, the electricity and light bill will be taken care of too. You will also be given a bus pass. So except maybe you buy a bike or decide to take Grab/Uber or club or eat out often which is also cheap, you should be fine. Remember this is based on the fact that your accommodation is covered. For someone else who doesn't have free accommodation, depending on your taste, if you're willing to share, location and province you find yourself, you can pay from 30k/60k upwards. 30k if you're sharing with someone. In the bigger provinces, the lowest I've seen though is 65k and it can be difficult to find For me, even in this one bedroom apartment I stay, I've never spent up to 150k a month |

do I have to get my tefl certificate authenticated by Vietnamese/Chinese embassy before I can use it to get a teaching job there? My tefl academy was advising me that I will need to get it authenticated by either of those embassies before they can give me a teaching job there. Yup |

Pureheart91: I read somewhere on this thread where u adviced those coming to teach to do so next year courtsey of the Pandemic.
If so, as i will like to take advantage of this oppurtunity when next year do you feel is ripe to get teaching jobs. As this will help me plan better.
Have a nice sunnyday I never said next year. I'm sure I said to keep putting money together pending when the travel restriction is lifted which could be anytime. Initially, the government was planning to do so in September but with this outbreak, it's not feasible anymore. So you can aim for next year and hope by then, all will be back to normal and you would have gotten your original certificate then |

UyaiIncomparabl: Good afternoon.
For the Exfoliation scrub; you should get St. Ives Coffee/Apricot/Citrus Blast. These scrubs do the job just well. I have used the Coffee and Citrus blast, and I will pick the Citrus blast anytime, any day. I love the Lemon feels on my skin. So, feel free to choose any of them. However, the St. Ives scrubs also come in other varieties. For further assistance, please check your nearest beauty products supplier/stores.
The 55H+ topical body cream and serum.
Neutrogena SPF 75 (Broad spectrum and Water-resistant). Your beauty journey is a waste without sunscreens. Endeavor to get them.
These should do for a start.
Have a great day ahead. Hey sis, Please I need help/advice. Some months ago, the sun damaged my skin as in the attached picture. Carmal90: Hello What will happen to school to doesn't issue certificate immediately after graduation?? Heard some school is 5 years after graduation. The first place you'd encounter a challenge is when you go for authentication at the ministry of education. Once it's 5 or 7 years long (not sure again but you can search for where I mentioned it on this thread), they require you to get your original. |

So is there a medical form I'm suppose to get before going to the hospital and who am I to get it from? Just do the basics. HIV 1 and 2 Syphilis Hepatitis A and B Chest x-ray Then they should state you're fit and healthy. 200k. Which hospital did you go to? |

To all who got scholarship, big congrats to you guys.
My advise, hustle and get your plane ticket money. For BTA, if you see $500, with the scholarship, you're good to go for 6 months sef but if you can, hold 500-1000. It's still your money and you won't have to worry about anything for a looking time.
Then get food stuffs and other basic things from Nigeria so you don't start spending when you get here.
Again, congratulations!
If funds permit, y'all can meet up, plan and travel together. HCMC is far from you if not, I for come pick Una from airport |

Triose95: Otopxy, mind you the 100percent scholarship covers only Tuition and accommodation, living expenses is not part of it. Lol. You make the living expenses sound like a big deal. With 15-20k naira, you can live monthly here. That would cover your feeding, students usually have a bus pass for buses so as long as your accommodation is covered, you're good to go. Just get a part time jobs and. save your money |

Chidonsky: are there menial jobs and company work for foreigners? It's the same reply I gave softdrink. I've heard of foreigners working as waiters and coolks in restaurants and pizza places part time but this is not the US or UK and those things won't fetch you money. If you have skills like in IT or construction, you can try applying online before coming here. Any other thing you do don't pay good |

NONNYG: Great thread, Nice update, @WhyNa I read Vietnam has quality clothes and hairs, can you please confirm that and is it advisable for one to go into such business, like buying and sending to Nigeria
Please Stay Safe Clothes yes. It's funny to see all the popular shirts and sneakers and slippers in Nigeria here. Yes it's a lucrative business and I have it mind for the long run if God wills For hair, I honestly doubt cos they import from China. I stand to be corrected on this but I haven't seen a Vietnamese hair extension shop here. The only one I have seen imported from China |
