mbulela:Maybe you will need to read up about regionalism or regional impacts, plans and economies... Why do we have organizations like ECOWAS, etc?... let me use an illustration here... Do you know why industries are coming up in Ogun state?...It is about economics of scales...Whenever Ogun becomes unfriendly to Lagos environment; there is tendency that multiplier effect of its proximity to Lagos will fade way too to the disadvantage of Ogun...regional meetings will help these government to relate and form alliance... Innoson motors is in nnewi but part of components assembly plant is in Enugu...(such regional meetings help in such getting such investment through the governor of investor parent company to also invest in your state... The reasons for such regional integration is enormous as no state is an island or self-sufficient...Igwebuike...thanks |
kasiem:Sure, it is good write up to do but presently I am not in town as in Anambra...but will promptly be available once I am in town...Are you based in Anambra? |
kasiem:Learnt over time that freeglobe is a bitter fellow and nuisance who's better ignored than engaged... |
mbulela:On Obi's part, remember he wanted to quit politics after governorship but I feel he rescinded that decision because of Jonathan... who wanted him to join his team... Also, I feel he was frustrated out of APGA due to influence of Victor Umeh(cf Bianca Ojukwu interview to sun newspaper)...Victor isn't a good omen for Anambra politics and development... I also believe, he wanted to allow Obiano space to run his government his(Obiano) style devoid of his(Peter Obi) personal influence or shadow...Remember, Obiano is using most of Peter Obi's aides and commissioners too... If Jonathan had won reelection, I believe Anambra would have benefited more by having Peter Obi attracting more FG intervention projects while Obiano is also using state resources too for development of Anambra... PDP to me isn't bad but has some bad eggs just like the pretender and propagandist party APC... but people like Peter Obi would have added more credibility to their portfolio... |
kasiem:You're better off ignoring that chap... |
mbulela:Did you notice that Rochas since joining APC seldom attend South-East governors meeting ![]() If he's action is right, why is he running away from others if not for his selfish and desperate desire for power ![]() He's afraid of being confronted with some home truths hence he avoids any forum that will allow for such intimate discussion... He's no longer part of any regional plan and integration by isolating himself... Remember, APC cum SW used the regional integration and economic progress of SW region as a whole to campaign in Ondo state...But they encourage Rochas who they know his antecedent(power monger) to isolate from his region... Mind you, that some common party policies beneficial to all are discussed in these meetings but with a governor from another party like Rochas; they will be reluctant to share ideas and intimate issues... Imo is better off economically and politically under PDP or APGA, bearing in mind regional integration and progress...thanks |
GeneralBosco:No bro, Abia are complaining against his attempt to convert political position to family affair and his neglect of Aba city...In all, I read he did well in other parts of the state like Umuahia but abandoned Aba due to reasons best known to him... O yes, a common man like you can start criticizing them like you do to PDP states... Yes! a common man like you can become interested in their affairs like you are in abia... How is Kwara performing & effective outside enriching the saraki dynasty? How's Ogun created in 1976 performing & effective when students still study under trees like Punch published last week? How's Lagos living to its potentials when most of its resources are diverted to finance personal and family needs of Tinubu & cronies?... |
Youngzedd:How old are you ![]() |
GeneralBosco:Most times, I abhor emotional blackmail of people and avoid crucifying them on the altar of media propaganda... So I won't judge Abia till I visit there... I am yet to see any of you from APC criticize Saraki or Tinubu conversion of their state's to family affairs(this is also the sin of Ochendo and why his people are fighting him)... Are they the only educated people therefrom or is it part of political sophistication gimmick ![]() |
Cuche:I think the post you quoted asked you to provide proof while Obi is a crook according to you but you still dwelt on empty rhetorics...Do the needful and provide proofs here...thanks |
GeneralBosco:Maybe other younger folks who read your post may not decipher same...let's be mindful of our posts and the audience...I am not saint either...btw there's no proof that the pdp candidate won't do well if elected though I prefer Otti to him...I think also, APC supporters need lots of introspection because same reason for which they taunt others is under their nose but hypocrisy or whatever pushes them to ignore those... thanks... |
raumdeuter:PDP is a platform not a person...So they have a mixture of both the good and the bad just like APC too. unfortunately APC prefers to live in denial and crown all their people saints with cult like followers who don't value introspection (cf Adolf Hitler history and you will see the picture of APC &her followers)... I am not sure the crimes of Ochendo is alien to APC but you chose to go blind to yours and hypocritically criticize others...Is it the looting in Lagos, kwara, etc or the conversion of state resources and political offices to family affairs as in Lagos, Kwara, Ogun etc...which leaves all these states underdeveloped... In all, charity begins at home...cleanse yourself and put your house accordingly before poke nosing and advising others... |
obicentlis:Sometimes when we run our mouth, we fail to realise how myopic we are... Which is more important, is it to develop your state and always remain in good book of your people and history OR to run around crazily for power ![]() Not all are desperate for power like Rochas ![]() |
GeneralBosco:No offense though but I thought in the past that it was a reasonable and informed personality that's behind this moniker...you just proved me wrong... |
Beamborla:I didn't ignore you but for reasons I will explain later, I can't log in there for now...You have my best wishes as always... |
sarahatuba:It's an opportunity to show appreciation for all that you're grateful for both online and offline... Its not always about requests and pleas; stop now and say thank you baba...What are you grateful for? |
uzolexis:Sure, I only did what any other person would have done too...I owe God lots of gratitude for your free and strong personality... I also thank him for my being alive while I pray for his miracle of healing on me...I keep imagining what I would've looked like if I died at that accident scene. But God saved me and gave me a second chance...I am happy to know you and be you sure that you have my ears and time anytime any day anywhere ![]() I nominate sarahatuba & peppyluv02 for their gratitude challenge here... |

softysparky:No we aren't derailing the thread rather we are spicing it with some tonic that will be easing some tensions here amidst the argument That's my intention really...Since, you wanna use me as an excuse to relocate to francizy house, I won't bulge ...but I can always remind you that I am a better etilogwu dancer than francizy Maybe you need to see me in field to confirm that messi is a learner ![]() |
