The pdp and the Apc should be the only political blocs not regions. All these region things is the lazy man's tool is to play on people's emotions. Politics is about political parties not region. Gej paid dearly for it, same thing happened to jimi agbaje. Don't we ever learn.
Yes because these other people conspired against them...why would Yoruba reject Jimi who's more sound simply because Igbo people supported his candidacyhuh...Is Jimi not pure lagosian as against Ambode/Tinubu/Fashola who aren't lagosians?...Is it about real and good governance or about what principally?... You are simply against this aspiration because you support APC and see this movement as something that will hurt your party intolerance to opposition and undemocratic tendencies...

So a regional party can win the presidency in Nigeria?

No need replying you properly then.
Sure, what they did wasn't rocket science bro...they simply merged their votes to buhari's free votes from northern Nigeria to win...And then turned now; to scream one Nigeria...

This election wasn't about any performance at all but ethnicity and tribalism...

For now, APC is still a regional party like APGA unlike PDP that has won election in every region of Nigeria...

The lingua of both Kanuri and Berom is Hausa. They were under the northern region rule for several years.

Mali and Ghana are two separate countries and have no ties except the Ecowas which even combines Nigeria with Senegal
All of kanuri and berom have their individual or native languages but seem forced to speak Hausa as genrally accepted language...Some even denouce been called hausa... a travel to some of their villages will show you that some still don't understand or speak the Hausa language at all...

If I may advise the so called SS/SE union, it has to be that the regions must allow people to express their leaders and encourage full integration and adequate presence in the two political parties.

SS/SE must be present and seen to be active in both APC and PDP because to have a say in the two parties is the only way that these two regions can exert influence on national issues.

Take a look at the SW and you will see that PDP/AD/ACN and now APC have all succeeded at one time or the other in the region. The SW people have never outrightly seen PDP as a Hausa/Fulani party even though we've always been more at home with AD/ACN and now APC hence you see PDP winning in Ekiti and Ondo states.

On the contrary, the SE and SS regions are bent on ensuring that APC does not have a space in the regions! Pray, tell, how can you have a hope of being fully integrated in the scheme of things let alone be producing a president (remember that president GEJ was an accident which will not necessarily happen all the time) when all you do is to go against other regions?

My 50 cents.
Just to correct a particular lie in your post...
SW never loved PDP but voted for PDP in ekiti because of the person of fayose...Ondo was won by labour party; even with all PDP did to retain the state; they still voted their own party APC just like northerners have always ignored party to vote buhari since 2003.

In a nutshell, the hullabaloo about SE is to cajol, blackmail and intimidate them into accepting APC so that APC will appear more like a national party than regional party which is what it is presently irrespective of winning presidency...

So in all, SW love APC irrespective of whatever the party maybe doing to them in terms of corrupt enrichment of few and enslaving others...Even if PDP cuts off its scrotum to please SW; they will still go with APC...

Done with barcanista on this thread, its on nice to reply my mentions.
Let me be courteous too in replying you by telling you that your line of argument here is quite myopic...kindly read and meditate on realities not dreams...maybe a journey to your friend; berem signature(detribalization) will aid you to get your first topic of meditation...

That is the idea. No strategy will be discussed in the open(here). We have to be very careful. So far, feedback has been encouraging. Just like Eurobomber said, the term "North" unites every Berom, gwari, fulani man. They don't refer to NE/NW or NC when promoting their interest and forming bloc. Funny enough, they are multi-ethnic just like us.
God is your strength bro...If there's nothing that ever united us or we ever have/had in common as one poster above opined; then let this election be that thing which united/unites us...Let the struggle continue...Igwebuike!!!

I know francizy and softsparky will always come to school late....Abeg make I siddon listen to this yarn...Nah the way forward be this my people...

Kindly ignore all attention seekers and touts who may want to derail the thread...

Most importantly, I think@barcanista and truckpusher serving as organizers should use this thread more as head count and awareness creation and avoid discussing any important issues or strategies openly here...Some meetings offline may help...Dropping whatever plans here in the open may not be in our best interest...thanks to all eastern brothers and sisters....

Why read history when I have lived and experienced what I am talking about?

It is you who needs to stop listening to hearsay and actually go and witness the North for yourself. Can the North be violent? Yes. What is the major cause? Ethnicity and the "fear of domination" by other tribes.

That is the truth right there. Not many people will tell you as they prefer to dramatize it and play the religious card. Tell that however to the many people who were killed just after observing the Friday Juma'at prayers with their killers.
Oh kindly add as an additive plz tongue

I didn't say that anywhere, did I?

However my question to you is: have you lived in the North? There are Northern Christians too but have you heard of a time pre-boko Haram that the Muslims there took up arms against their Christian brothers?

The Northern crisis is more ethnic than religion.
Bros, try some history books and come back for more discussion... thanks

Do lions cringe at the sight of another beast?

Were Amaechi and Fayose not created by the same God?

Oh....what a life!

What thoughts must be flooding the mind of the old man at the far end of the picture! !

There's a huge difference between humility and weakness! !!

Amaechi only fights in his home; his shamefully hides his tail between his legs outside his home.

He's a lion at home; a willing lamb outside his home. ....

For the porridge that comes with the post of the SSG/Minister of Petroleum, you're now considered a traitor back home...

The worst that can befall a mortal mman is to have his name synonymous with betrayal of his own people. ...

Power is fleeting; influence wanes. ...

And in the generations to come, we shall not fail rehearse the tales of betrayal to our kids. ...

At the end, you shall know that Aso Rock/ Abuja will never be as sweet as Ubima! !!

For now, enjoy your infamy; embrace your groove.........

And who says these folks were not BORN TO RULEhuhhuh
Ohhhh, what a speech!!! You spoke to the innermost recess of my being...kudos boss

I'll have you know there are Christians and Muslims in my family. Do we hate each other? CAPITAL NO!
So why are you sheepishly saying that Jonathan turned Muslims against Christianshuh

BTW northern Moslems are no friends to Christians since time immemorial....
